It’ll be island time all summer long with this ice shaver for the KitchenAid stand mixer!
Stay cool this summer with homemade shaved ice and snow cones!
Did you know your KitchenAid stand mixer can create snow-like fluffy ice for refreshing frozen treats?! This handy shaved ice attachment easily attaches to any KitchenAid brand mixer and uses the motor to create over a pint of finely shaved ice in just 60 seconds!
And, for a limited time, QVC has the KitchenAid Shave Ice Stand Mixer Attachment for only $69.98 (regularly $123.95)! Plus not only do you get the attachment but you are getting a combo deal with a whopping eight ice molds so you’ll always have plenty on hand for guests and parties. Shipping adds $5.50, so you’ll snag it all for $75.48 shipped!
Hooray for another brilliant way to use your stand mixer!
I can confirm the snow-cone-ready attachment is super versatile and fun to use!
Capture tropical vacation vibes at home by pairing the shave ice with snow cone syrup, boozy adult drinks, or even iced coffee! My kids were so excited to try this and it was honestly such a fun family activity to create our own frozen treats with syrup and fruit toppings!
Hip Tip: If you need a recommendation for yummy syrups, we really enjoyed this Lucy’s tropical flavor pack that I found on Amazon.com. It wasn’t overly sweet or fake tasting. The pineapple and watermelon flavors are delicious! 😋
How difficult is the KitchenAid shave ice attachment to use?
It’s fairly simple! The main housing easily attaches to the hub of your mixer. There are two blades to choose from: one for finely shaved ice and one for coarsely shaved ice. It’s easy to change them out. It will also come with eight molds to prepare the frozen ice pucks ahead of time.
The detachable sleeves and components are dishwasher-safe, too. 🙌
Use the attachment in just three easy steps – FREEZE, SHAVE, & CREATE!
Just remember to freeze the ice ahead of time. It’s worth noting that one of these pucks will create a pint of shaved ice! You can fill them and freeze water, juice, or even coffee!
Hip Tip: Consider freezing the pucks and then placing them in a Ziploc gallon bag. Then use the molds to freeze more until you have a whole bag of the frozen pucks ready to go stored in the freezer!
Shaving the ice is the most fun part!!! You’ll turn on the mixer and it will start shaving fluffy ice right away. Hold a cup or container underneath and rotate it.
Then add your favorite sweet snow cone syrups, juice, booze, or coffee drinks. Plus you can top it with fresh fruit or any desired toppings, and enjoy!
Bottom Line: This new KitchenAid attachment works great and is so darn fun!!
I highly recommend grabbing one to enjoy this summer. If you ever had the iconic Snoopy Snow Cone Maker in the 80’s, this is the new improved adult version! In fact, our daughter had a snow cone maker on her birthday list and I am so glad we decided on this attachment rather than buying a separate appliance!
Save money on a KitchenAid mixer using these tips!
Does anyone have one of these? If so, I would love to know if this ice is chunky or truly shaved?
Hey, I just purchased this a few weeks ago. The shaved ice machine has two blades one for fine ice and one for chunky ice. We love ours!
Yep! That’s so awesome. Glad to hear you are loving it also.
You can make your own syrup very easily. I use to have snow cone stands. Make simple syrup 1cup auger to 1cup boiling water. Let cool then add any fav you want cheap to make. Get flavoring from the groc store. It stores nicely for quite a while. However after usage clean outside of containers so you don’t attract ants.
I’m happy with my stand mixer and I would love to use my stand mixer more but honestly, I have a commercial grade ice shaver that is amazing and costs less than the kitchenaid attachment and uses regular ice cubes. (easy enough that my kids will pull it out and use it, too!) BTW, I LOVE the Hawaiian Ice syrups – tons of flavors. (but shipping isn’t free until $99 on this site)
I am right here with you, I have a nice ice shaver I broke down and bought two years ago when we were in the thick of being home. It’s more than paid for itself since I learned how to make the icee syrup 🙂 🙂
What is it called? Website?
I would love to know what this is as well!!
Does it turn out like snow, I love the ice shaved fine like snow?
May i get details about the one you have???
thanks a bunch
May we please know the name of your awesome comercial ice shaver, please (:
Yes do tell the name 👏👏👏
I agree, I would love to get this attachment but I don’t think I would do well keeping the ice molds ready to be used. I also have a great shaved ice maker and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. My kids use it when they get that shaved ice crave (it has paid for it self in just a week of use). Best thing is it uses regular ice cubes, easy to clean, fast and just plain great. I love the Hawaiian syrups also. After trying many different brands I will never use anything other than the Hawaiian ones ♥️
Please share the name/brand!!!
I have Cuisinart SCM-10P1 Snow Cone Maker (Amazon has it). Hip2Save posted a deal last year right before the summer and I grabbed one and I have to say it’s been one of the best purchases I have made. It shaves the ice just like the ones from the snow cone store, you know the ones that charge you like $4-$5 a cone 😬and over time that adds up. We have been using it for over a year now and I could honestly say that we use it every other day (my husband likes the plain ice kids love the Hawaiian syrup)and during the summer we use it at least 5 times a day. Still works great and the blades are still very sharp. Funny thing, we use it so much that last summer when we upgraded the kitchen we ended up getting a whirlpool fridge that has dual ice maker 🤣 so we would never run out of ice for our snow cones. I think if you get this snow cone machine you will not regret it.
decisions…kitchenaid attachment or the cuisinart snow cone maker
