“It took exactly one night for my hubby to confirm that our new Novilla AiryFlow mattress was for keeps. A year ago, we tested a different mattress brand, and it only took him one night to say- NOPE- and that one went to a family member.

If you have room for a king size bed, you might want to think about two twin extra long mattresses on a solid boxspring/bedframe. You will feel very little movement from the other person.

Can you use a mattress cover to protect it and still get the cooling effect?
Good question, Elizabeth! I checked with Chelsey on this, and here’s what she shared – “We have a waterproof protector and it’s still cooling. I would imagine a ‘topper’ or anything pillowy might not be as cooling though.”

I have to share, I bought a Novilla in a differt model on Walmart for under $220 for a King size and it is FABULOUS!! I was so impressed with the quality for the price point! I would highly recommend the brand. .

Not sure how to frame my question: In the past I’ve been disappointed whenever I’ve occasionally and rarely slept on a foam mattress. I’ve felt like my body sank in a bit and the mattress took the form of my body. I felt stuck a bit. There was no smooth movement of my body as happens on a traditional mattress. Are current model foam mattresses new and improved? Certainly foam mattress prices are attractive, but perhaps for good reasons??
Hey there! I checked with Chelsey (our Hip sidekick in the post above who has this mattress), and here’s what she shared with me –
I can totally understand the “stuck” feeling, but I think that comes from too soft foam mattresses. Of course, size makes a difference on how much you sink, but my hubs is 6’4” 230 lbs. and doesn’t feel like he sinks at all. He’s the picky one 😉 and he finds it just right.
