All that earth and animal-first goodness aside, the true test was up to my cat! 😸
And there’s no doubt that Open Farms passed her test with flying colors!! (*Peep* the nose on the side of the bag when it arrived at my doorstep 😹 she was ready to rip that thing open!)
And truthfully, in the past, I have always struggled with both wet and dry food for my kitty. As soon as she switched from kitten to adult cat food, she was instantly picky! So needless to say, I was SHOCKED that she even liked Open Farm food (especially dry food) right off the bat! But, I guess when you know what cats instinctively want/ like there’s no getting it wrong!
I do recommend following the 10-day transition period as I would say this has helped my kitty the most. She has devoured both the dry food and wet stew and while I really want to supplement her meals with the broth, having never used a broth before, she was a little hesitant at first. My cat is also allergic to fish (so I know the huuuge struggle! He also has IBD/IBS and this is the only variety of food I’ve found (of literally hundreds) that doesn’t bother him. He also poops far less than before because the quality is so good.
