I don’t have one, but I think I am going to get one. I am already thinking about how to treat this problem, I will put a baggie or saran wrap around the part in the toilet so I can change it when I clean. No way that thing will not be gross!
I’ve had these for 2 yrs now. I find that they do not get gross as long as you’re cleaning your toilet and it regularly. The only piece that goes inside the bowl is the stick that hangs on the side. I guess depending on how far back you move it to the rear of the bowl there’s a possibility of it getting “gross” but then the sensor would not work as well. I have it located in the front. My husband loves it! We’ve gone through two already unfortunately. They don’t send last. One es rechargeable but it wouldn’t hold a new charge. Good thing they are relatively inexpensive.
Illumibowl is the original, it’s a bit more expensive but lasts forever. We’ve had ours since we saw it on Shark Tank in early 2016. Knockoffs are not quite the same unfortunately.
I line in Florida so always turn the lights on when using the restroom at night-always. Never know what bug or snake might be hanging around. Lol I’m serious

I love this light!! I’ve been using this exact one ( the same first one I bought) for about 4 years now, and it still works great and I love it!! Have potty trained 2 kids with it on the toilet, and the LOVE it!!!
Our family loves ours and potty training it came in handy. My parents made fun if us when they came to visit but I didn’t care. We have been through 2 of them already.
Also bought a pack of two (different brand) as a white elephant gift last November, but ended up keeping for ourselves. It seemed kind of icky to put on the actual bowl, so I just place it on the counter ledge. Works great!
