Caesar Salad Smashed Tacos
yield: 3 SERVINGS
prep time: 15 MINUTES
cook time: 15 MINUTES
total time: 30 MINUTES
Crispy smashed chicken tacos topped with fresh Caesar salad create an easy 30-minute dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chicken or turkey
- 1 teaspoon chicken boulion
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- salt & pepper to taste
- 5 small flour tortillas
- bagged caesar salad mix
Directions
1
In a bowl, combine ground meat with bouillon, garlic powder, parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
2
Divide the meat into 5 or 6 portions. I used an ice cream scooper. Press a thin layer of meat onto one side of each tortilla.
3
Heat a skillet or griddle pan over medium-high heat. Place the tacos meat-side down and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Flip and cook another 2 minutes until tortillas are crispy.
4
Prepare the Caesar salad kit according to package directions. Top cooked tacos with Caesar salad. Enjoy!
