All you need is a block of cream cheese, a handful of fresh ingredients, and your favorite crackers for dipping.

Love my festive Christmas tree tray? It’s from last season on Walmart.com. They have a very similar version again this year!

Cranberry Jalapeno Dip
yield: 8 SERVINGS
prep time: 10 MINUTES
total time: 10 MINUTES
Sweet, spicy, creamy dip. Holiday perfection in one bite!
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 2 jalapeños, seeded for less heat
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- pinch of salt
- 2 blocks cream cheese, softened
- crackers for serving
Directions
1
Use a food processor or hand chopper to chop up the cranberries and jalapenos. Add them to a bowl along with sugar, lemon juice, sliced onion, chopped cilantro, and salt. Stir well.
2
Use a hand mixer to whip up the softened cream cheese so it will be easier to spread. Layer that into the bottom of a cake plate or 9-inch casserole dish. Use a slotted spoon to top the cream cheese with the cranberry mixture. Serve with crackers.
Extra tips for making cranberry jalapeno cream cheese dip:
- Make the salsa the night before for even better flavor. The ingredients marinate together for an even bolder flavor.
- For a different flavor variation, consider whipping half cream cheese and half goat cheese
- If you love heat, leave some jalapeño seeds in!

Easy Christmas appetizers are my favorite, and this one is a winner.
This cranberry relish recipe is great for parties, potlucks, or even a simple cozy night in. This may even become one of your holiday staples! My family was so impressed with this snack, yet it took very little effort.
If you are tasked with bringing a dip to a potluck, definitely consider this one!
Looks good, Lina, and you are right on trend! Costco had a cranberry jalapeno dip this fall and it’s more blended together than yours is, but I like the way yours looks better and it’s definitely more frugal.
