Easy Chocolate Pancakes Recipe (Great Valentine’s Day Breakfast)

Ingredients
- 2 cups Bisquick mix
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons unsweetened baking cocoa
- 1 cup chocolate milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla

In large bowl, stir all ingredients with a wire whisk until well blended. Heat nonstick griddle to 375°F or use a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. To test griddle, sprinkle with a few drops of water. If bubbles jump around, heat is just right.

Brush with vegetable oil if necessary or spray with cooking spray before heating.

For each pancake, pour slightly less than 1/4 cupful of batter onto hot griddle.

To make heart shapes, use a large metal cookie cutter. Cook 2 to 3 minutes or until bubbly on top and dry around edges.

Turn; cook other side until light golden brown around edges. Makes about 16 pancakes.
In our house, pancakes are a big deal and this variation of the plain version is so yummy! Plus, you can make them ahead of time to serve at a later time. My kids and hubby loved these easy chocolate pancakes and I hope your family does too. Enjoy!

I just make regular pancake mix and add chocolate syrup to the batter.
I just found out Bisquick, which I use and love has Trans fats in it. Darn it. Maybe the Heart smart Bisquick doesn’t. I will have to check. They look yummy though.
