Eggnog Gingerbread Trifle (Christmas Dessert)
All the sweet flavors of Christmas come together in this easy trifle dessert with layers of creamy eggnog pudding, homemade whipped cream, and spiced gingerbread cake. What a beautiful and delicious dessert to bring to your holiday gathering!
Note: This recipe requires a pre-baked gingerbread cake mix and will need at least a 6 hour refrigerate time.

Ingredients
- 14.5 oz. Box of Gingerbread Cake Mix, precooked with box ingredients
- 3 cups Eggnog
- 5.1 oz. box Vanilla instant pudding mix
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup sugar
- Topping: Gingersnap Cookies & Chocolate Chips

Bake cake according to package directions and let cool.

Whisk eggnog with pudding mix and refrigerate.

Beat whipping cream, vanilla, and sugar until a thick peak forms.

In a trifle bowl or large clear bowl, break apart cake and place a layer at the bottom, followed by a layer of pudding, and then a layer of whipped cream. Repeat all three layers.

Top with gingersnap cookies and chocolate chips. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours. Makes 20 servings.
