Eggnog Gingerbread Trifle

Ingredients

  • 14.5 oz. Box of Gingerbread Cake Mix, precooked with box ingredients
  • 3 cups Eggnog
  • 5.1 oz. box Vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Topping: Gingersnap Cookies & Chocolate Chips

Directions

Bake cake according to package directions and let cool.

Whisk eggnog with pudding mix and refrigerate.

Beat whipping cream, vanilla, and sugar until a thick peak forms.

In a trifle bowl or large clear bowl, break apart cake and place a layer at the bottom, followed by a layer of pudding, and then a layer of whipped cream. Repeat all three layers.

Top with gingersnap cookies and chocolate chips. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours. Makes 20 servings.

    Trifle is THE BEST! Looks nice, tastes good, and super easy to make! We make one with angel food cake, vanilla pudding, strawberries, bananas and cool whip. People lick the bowl every time!
