If you love an easy one skillet dinner, check out this meal idea using spiralized squash or zucchini “noodles”, bacon, garlic, and freshly grated parmesan cheese. YUM!
Cacio e Pepe is a super simple and tasty Italian classic that means “cheese and pepper” in English. This version with bacon is delicious, and replacing traditional noodles with veggies is both healthy and yummy. Enjoy!

If you enjoy cooking with spiralized veggies & fruits AND are looking for an awesome kitchen tool to prepare them with, check out one of my favorite kitchen gadget, The Inspiralizer: Official vegetable spiralizer of Inspiralized. (In fact I ordered this spiralizer after cutting my finger on one of those smaller hand held spiralizers, and never went back!). You can grab this gadget on Amazon or directly from the Inspiralized site.
If you’re looking for something a bit less expensive, be sure to check out Collin’s recent Facebook live video where she shows off her favorite kitchen gadget for making veggie noodles. Watch the video here, and click here to check out her fav kitchen gadget – available on Amazon.
With the Inspiralizer, your hand isn’t touching the veggie while using it and the “noodles” look so much like spaghetti! It makes four different types of noodle shapes, it’s very sturdy, and also easy to clean. What a yummy way to prepare veggies even my kids will eat! It’s also fun to experiment with different veggies and sauces.
I also recommend the Inspiralized Cookbook by Ali Maffucci. It has lots of beautifully written and easy to follow recipes and ideas, including this Bacon Cacio e Pepe recipe.
The Spiralizer was my Christmas present to myself last year and we have enjoyed some great Inspiralized meals! 😊
