4 easy sheet pan slider sandwiches in the oven

I often get asked for simple and yummy meal ideas that can feed lots of people while also keeping things affordable. One of the ideas that always comes to my mind is a sheet pan with Hawaiian roll sandwiches with melted cheeses.

Slice open a bag of Hawaiian rolls, add meat, cheese, and condiments, and melt them in the oven with a yummy butter topping. We have featured several variations of Hawaiian roll sliders over the years and they’re always a big hit for party food!

Let’s make four different flavors on one sheet pan!

Today I’m sharing four separate sandwich recipes that you can assemble and melt in the oven using one large 15″ x 21″ sheet pan and four packs of Hawaiian rolls! The best part about this idea is that you can pick your favorite meat and cheese fillings, or use ours as inspiration.

Both the ham and Swiss cheese sliders and turkey pesto and provolone sliders I am sharing have sliced deli meat and cheeses. I opted for a prepackaged pesto to make things easier. They both are so delicious and so darn EASY!

chicken marinara sliders

The chicken parmesan with marinara sauce sliders have prepared crispy chicken nuggets, marinara sauce, fresh basil, and provolone cheese. I cooked the nuggets in the air fryer first and then assembled the sandwiches! This is so simple yet tasty.

These easy Philly cheesesteak sliders are made by first preparing frozen sliced beef with diced peppers and onions in a skillet. I added that mixture plus provolone cheese to the rolls before baking in the oven. The result is a yummy, cheesy sandwich that was quick and easy to prep.

Woah! You just upped our ham/Swiss roll game! I have family who doesn’t care for ham, so we sub turkey, but this gives so many more options!! πŸ‘

    • Lina

Oh awesome! Glad you enjoyed these ideas Ashlie! Thanks for stopping by today.

  2. Ihearthip

Thanks for the inspo! I make these with Sara Lee slider buns also. My fam is not crazy about the sweet taste of the Hawaiian rolls.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

You bet! Those would be great for these too! πŸ˜‹πŸ™Œβ€οΈ

What a great idea for a party! I wish you had a vege version though–maybe mozzarella and tomato?

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

That sounds like a yummy vegetarian swap, TS! Let us know how you like it, if you give it a try. πŸ€—

Making these for a family get together – I am curious, do you think they are just as good if I bake them at home first and take them with me? 30 minutes drive at most. Or, would assembling them in the morning before I leave and baking them once I get to the family members house be better? Maybe baking at home and then reheating in oven at the location? Thank you!

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Hey there, Kellen! If you’re able to assemble them at home then bake them once you reach your destination that would probably be best! We haven’t tried reheating them, but let us know how they turn out if you decide to give it a try! πŸ’—

      • Kellen

        Thank you!!

        • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

What kind of cheese are on the Philly Cheesesteak Sliders? Not seeing that in the ingredients list. Thanks

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Whoops! Thanks for asking! For that you’d use 6 slices of provolone cheese added on top of meat before baking. πŸ˜‹

      • momof4spoiled1s

        Thank you

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

          You bet! πŸ₯°
