Create a thick and creamy protein Jello as a healthier, satisfying sweet snack to serve with fruit and whipped topping.

Here’s a high-protein snack hack worth trying!

Snacks are the little moments that hold our day together. What if your sweet snack could be both fun and functional? Check out easy high-protein Jell-O made with just two simple ingredients. All you need is your favorite Jell-O and some Greek yogurt. It is colorful, creamy, and packed with a little extra protein.

Does Jello have protein? Yes, Jell-O contains protein! It’s made from gelatin, which is a protein derived from animal collagen. The family-sized sugar-free Jell-O I am using here has 8 grams total.

Think of it as a mix between a mousse and a classic Jello cup. And yes, it is as delicious as it sounds. If you happen not to love the taste of Greek yogurt, try serving it mixed with Jell-O, as it takes on the sweeter fruit flavor of the Jell-O.

Try these other fun protein Jell-O flavor ideas:

  • Strawberry Jello with vanilla Greek yogurt tastes like strawberries and cream.
  • Lime Jello with coconut yogurt gives tropical key lime vibes.
  • Cherry Jello and lime yogurt will have a yummy, sweet and tart combination.

My mom used to make a version of this with strawberry Jell-O and regular yogurt (back in the ’80s before Greek yogurt was a thing). Thanks for bringing back a nice memory–and this version sounds so refreshing! I love the protein upgrade too.

Is this a 8×8 container? If I make it in 9×13 container, should I double the ingredients? Thank you!!

    • Lina

Yes great idea! You really just need any larger container with lid. Hope that helps! Thanks for stopping by!
