The Housemaid is awesome. Good read
Thanks for sharing! I haven’t read that one! ๐ค๐
Fourth Wing sounded so good but I was disappointed as it was super predictable. Too much “does he like me – do I like him” and not enough dragons! I’m not a prude (just old), but was surprised it is a YA (Young Adult) book due to some explicit sections…
Bummer to hear that you weren’t a fan of that book, TraceyBR! ๐ Thanks for taking a moment to share your honest thoughts on the storyline, and the warning about some of the content. ๐
You just reminded me to pick up a copy of โAtomic Habits.โ I keep seeing it at a friends house and am dying to read it. Thanks so much.
Oh perfect! You’re so welcome, Elsie!๐ฉท Glad you could finally grab it!
Fourth Wing, The Housemaid, and Atomic Habits are all SO GOOD!
Canโt find the digital coupon for Housemaid???
Bummer. It looks like it may have been pulled from their site, Kim. Thanks for letting us know. The post is updated. ๐

I have a long TBR list already lol. Thanks for the suggestions. I borrowed the Atomic Habits book from my teenage son (bought it for him as a gift a year or two back) and thought it would be a good kickoff read for the new year and to help break old habits and institute new ones. I am currently reading 5 books, possibly too many things at once lol, but keeping track of them all so it’s all good. Two of those are history and a novel with my daughter for school, the other 3 are mine. I am trying to read more in the new year and I start my mornings off with a cup of tea and 20 minutes of reading when the kids are getting ready for school (or more if time allows) which sets the tone of the day. I save my thriller or more fun reads for the afternoons or evenings. So that way I’m learning and reading for fun. I also listen to an audiobook at least twice a week on my long drives. The Housemaid is already on my list, but I have added How to Know a Person, Killers of the Flower Moon, and Psychology of Money to my list.
You’re very welcome, Crys! ๐ค I love that you start each morning with a book, that’s one of my goals too! ๐โ๏ธ Happy reading!
