    Is there an annual fee?

    • Shopper Gal

The post says “no annual fee on either card”

    • JENESSA BOHLMAN

      nope:)

  2. Kim

    No, annual fee.

  3. Lindsey

And what’s the difference between the 2 cards?

    • AlisonRoberts

The Prime Store Card is just a “store credit card” to be used at Amazon. The Prime Rewards Visa is a regular Visa credit card that you can use anywhere (that takes Visa.)

  4. AlisonRoberts

We have the Amazon Prime Rewards Visa and use it for almost everything to score the points! Points are super easy to redeem too. Love it.

    • shannon-12

When you go to checkout, scroll down to the payment information section the click of payment methods. There should be a box to select that says pay with points. You can then select to use all or a portion on your points. It’s super easy! I use them all the time!

  5. Dana

I have this card and love it. Easy to use to get the 5% cash back and I just set to pay off the entire balance automatically every month. No fees.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Glad to hear that, Dana! Thanks for letting us know how much you have been loving it!

  6. Patricia Clayton

I love this card and it pays for itself. I earn $35-$55 every single month. I make money using it as my one and only card to pay bills and purchases. Then pay it off every month. Last year I made $655 and always applied it to my bill. They are PAYING ME to use it. I feel my prime membership pays for itself so easily. This has been a no brainer for us for 5 years.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Wow! That’s awesome to hear, Patricia! Thanks a TON for sharing your experience!

  7. Sherry

I have this credit card and I love it! No annual fee 5% cash back on Amazon purchases and no interest because I pay it off every month. You can’t beat it.

  8. Mary

Do you have to be a prime member to get or use this card? If not, then how do I redeem the points?

    • Patricia

Yes, you have to be a Prime Member

    • Lori

I dont believe you have to be a prime member to have the visa reward

  9. Melissa

Looks like businesses are starting to hurt with the horrible economy. Watch for more huge incentives like this $200 bonus offer. Be smart tho and don’t get yourself in debt, use your credit wisely and always pay your bill in full.

  10. Melinda

What do people think about this vs the costco card? I use that for everything right now

    • je

I also use my costco card for everything, but might sign up for the bonus offer and to use on amazon purchases since the cash back percentage is higher.

  11. Jennifer G

I have the Amazon Prime Visa card and I LOVE it. I use it for all my Amazon purchases and anything else that I mean to pay off right away. I have had it for 6 months. I got the $200 bonus in the beginning and have earned another $200 in points so far.

  12. peter kuhlman

i signed up for new card through link above and i got a 100.00 not 200.00 ?

    • HipMomof3

The post says it starts on 7/1.

      • **Lisa**

Am I blind? I don’t see that anywhere. So we have to wait till tomorrow then, for the $200 gift card? I’m confused.

        • HipMomof3

The original post did have 7/1 as the start date. I’d have to look for through the details now to find the start date.

          • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hey There! We updated the post after checking that the offer was active now. Hope this helps! 💕

        • s

i just applied and the approval email says “Your $200 Amazon.com Gift Card has been automatically added to your Amazon account “

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

So sorry for the confusion! It does look like this offer may vary by account. Hoping this is helpful. ❤️

  13. Cindy

Can there be more than one Amazon Prime Visa credit card on a prime account if more than one adult lives in the same household?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hey Cindy! I don’t find details listed on that in the fine print. You could always reach out to customer service to be certain on how that might work for you. Hoping they may be able to help. 💕

  14. Sheri Baby

Can you please verify that the store card also earns $200? Everything at the beginning of the article is about the Visa card and I already have that but would get the store card as well if it gave a $200 reward. Thank you!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hey there! I did speak with customer service on this. They let me know that the offers can vary for each. Hoping that helps! 💕

  15. Wanda

Anyone know when you get the $200. Does it apply as a statement credit the first billing cycle? Thanks.

    • Wanda

I read the post again. I see it is a gift card. Do you get it right away? Thanks again

      • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Wanda! I looked through the offer details and found this – “Upon approval of your application, the Gift Card will be loaded into your Amazon.com account, as long as you have not closed your account. The Amazon.com Gift Card is only awarded to new cardmembers and at the time of card approval.” Hope this is helpful! 🥰

  16. Wanda

    Thanks, jessica!!!!

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

      You bet! 💞

  17. FSUGAL

I didn’t see in this post where it said this offer started July 1st, so I applied today and received $100 gift instead of $200. So bummed. That’s a BIG difference by one day. I only saw thru July 29th, thinking the $200 offer was already in play.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

So sorry for the trouble, FSUGAL! It does look like the offer may vary by account. We’ve added a note to the post. 💗

  18. Marianne

Thank you so much! Just applied and the $200 gift card was added right away!

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Woohoo! You’re so welcome, Marianne! 🤗💕

  19. MMM

Thank you so much! Just applied and the $200 gift card was added right away!

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

      YAY! You’re welcome! 🙌💗

  20. FSUGAL

As a follow up, I called Amazon customer service directly as I could clearly view the offer for the $200 gift card credit with sign up of the charge card in my existing Amazon Prime account. The representative has already rectified the balance and credited my account the full $200. So if you have issues, call Amazon directly.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Wow! So happy to hear you were able to get the remaining amount added to your account. Thanks so much for coming back and letting us know! 💞

  21. Craig

If you have an Amazon Rewards Visa Card but not an Amazon PRIME Rewards Card, would you still get the $200 gift card?

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Craig! I found this in the offer details regarding the gift card offer – “This product is available to you if you do not currently have an Amazon Rewards Visa Signature or Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature credit card.” Hoping this is helpful! 💗

  22. Misti

Do you have to be a prime member to get the 200? I am not prime and was offered 50.00. Do you know if I sign up for it I would be offer the 200? Thanks for any help.

    • Nicole (Hip Sidekick)

Hi, Misti! The offer does vary by account, but you do need to be a Prime member to qualify for their Amazon Prime Visa Credit Card. Otherwise, you will be applying for their Amazon Visa Credit Card.

  23. Ms Annie

Thank you for this post, I already have both the Amazon Visa and Amazon store card so didn’t think I would be eligible. The offer was there when I signed into my account, filled the application out, approved, and the $200 credit is in my account. I love this card we always pay the balance in full each month and I was able to lock in the $139 Prime fee for $119 using my rewards from this card. I am going to see if the offer is available on my husband’s account.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

You bet! Thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience on this! 💗

  24. Drue

I got it!! Thank you soooo much!! When I clicked through the link it only said $60 but when I went through my computer- the $200 came up! What a blessing!!!

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

YAY! So glad to hear you were able to get the offer, Drue. 🤗❤️

  25. loretta

Yay!! Got the $200 gift card!! I’ve been holding out for this one because I wanted the biggest amount they offered. Thanks Hip2save!

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

You’re so welcome, loretta! So happy you scored the gift card! 🤗💗

  26. Sarah J Hartman

Anyone know … I have a Prime account through my husband (who has a Prime Visa card), would I be able to get one or is just one visa card per Prime account?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! I just spoke with customer service on this to be sure. It is limited to one offer per Prime account. Hoping that helps! 🤗💖

  27. Malinda

When I click the link it takes me to an Amazon page that says “thanks for your interest… we’re updating this page”

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

So sorry for the trouble, Malinda! It seems to still be pulling up the offer in the post when I click through now, if you’d like to try again. If you’re on a mobile device, you might try switching to a desktop or a different internet browser. Hoping this does the trick! 🥰

  28. Diane

It seems that this offer is only for those who are already Amazon Prime members, correct? (When I click on the link provided, it brings me to a different offer for a $75 Amazon Gift Card when you sign up for for their Amazon Rewards Visa Signature Card.)

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yes! Thanks for asking Diane. I was able to confirm that with customer service.

  29. Amy

It seems now it is $60

    • Nicole (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Amy! The offer can vary from person to person.

      • Dgal

Can you cancel anytime without a penalty?

        • Nicole (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Dgal. It is a credit card, so if you get the card and then cancel it shortly after, it may negatively impact your credit rating.
