    Is there an annual fee?

    • Shopper Gal

The post says “no annual fee on either card”

    • JENESSA BOHLMAN

      nope:)

    • tipaye

I feel this wording is misleading (on the part of Amazon). There is no “Annual Fee” but there *is* your typical APR associated with cards. So, yes, there are annual fees—in the form of APR.

      • tipaye

Well, not *misleading* as they are two different things. I’d just be careful when checking the APR—if you pay your statement off monthly, there’s nothing to worry about 😉

  2. Kim

    No, annual fee.

  3. Lindsey

So basically u just sign up for it and don’t have to use it?? And get $100 free??

  4. Lindsey

And what’s the difference between the 2 cards?

    • AlisonRoberts

The Prime Store Card is just a “store credit card” to be used at Amazon. The Prime Rewards Visa is a regular Visa credit card that you can use anywhere (that takes Visa.)

  5. AlisonRoberts

We have the Amazon Prime Rewards Visa and use it for almost everything to score the points! Points are super easy to redeem too. Love it.

    • Penny

I just realized that I have points to redeem. Can someone please explain how I should do this? Thank you!

      • AlisonRoberts

You can use your points at checkout if you’re making an Amazon purchase. Just select the option to redeem points. You can also sign in to your online credit card account and redeem them that way. We usually opt for the statement credit when redeeming online but I think there are other options too.

      • shannon-12

When you go to checkout, scroll down to the payment information section the click of payment methods. There should be a box to select that says pay with points. You can then select to use all or a portion on your points. It’s super easy! I use them all the time!

  6. Dana

I have this card and love it. Easy to use to get the 5% cash back and I just set to pay off the entire balance automatically every month. No fees.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Glad to hear that, Dana! Thanks for letting us know how much you have been loving it!

  7. Kygirly06

My offer was $150, but watch your Prime account. They change your default payment method to the new card!! They are also giving a $60 gift card if you apply to the Prime Rewards Signature card (no annual fee)! Again watch your default payment method, you may have to change it back😉‼️

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Thanks for the helpful warning!

  8. Jillian

please remember not to just jump on any deal. this may not be a good idea for some people. it could leave u indebt lol

    • JULIE

Thanks for the information, Will be a good idea not to use the card and cancel later to get the deal, and the APR am seeing is high, can you explain it a little bit more, thanks.

      • Jillian

Hi Julie it’s just that it seems so tempting with the hundred dollar gift card bonus however I feel most women are like me and before you know it you have charged over thousands of dollars and $100 is a small amount IMO LOL

    • Jodi P

The deal won’t lead you into debt. Not paying for your purchases is what leads you into debt.

    • tipaye

Paying the card off monthly is the key.

  9. kennyog72

Does anyone know if there will be a better deal during prime day on the cash back? I want to purchase but want to wait until midnight for a potential better deal lol

  10. Mommy2Bear

Love my card and for those who do not know you can take whatever you get cash back and put it towards the bill of your Amazon Store card when you go to pay your bill if you decide not to use it while shopping.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the helpful tip! Good to know!

  11. Tamara

    Is there an activation fee?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Tamara! I don’t find any fee listed.

  12. stacey-1

Read the reviews before committing to the card. I was going to sign up but the terrible reviews quickly helped me change my mind. Thank goodness.

    • Casey

I love my Amazon Visa. We rack up rewards. Didn’t know people leave reviews about credit cards!

  13. guerita_bonita2002

I’m getting a “application temporarily unavailable” message. Has anyone else encountered this?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hmm, maybe check again in a different browser. Hoping it works for you soon!

  14. Patricia Clayton

I love this card and it pays for itself. I earn $35-$55 every single month. I make money using it as my one and only card to pay bills and purchases. Then pay it off every month. Last year I made $655 and always applied it to my bill. They are PAYING ME to use it. I feel my prime membership pays for itself so easily. This has been a no brainer for us for 5 years.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Wow! That’s awesome to hear, Patricia! Thanks a TON for sharing your experience!

  15. Faye

I just got the credit card. I am looking forward to spending an extra $100 tomorrow!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Woohoo! Happy shopping!

  16. Pammie

I got this card for the $100 gift card when it was offered last year. Honestly I love it! I use it as my default payment and pay it off each month to avoid interest charges. All while racking up rewards that can easily be redeemed on purchases, statement credits and even transfer into our checking account. My only negative = realizing how much I actually spend on amazon monthly 🤣

  17. Denise

It says application for card is temporarily unavailable

    • Denise

I was able to fill out on my desktop ty

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh good! You’re welcome, Denise. Thanks for the update!

  18. Sherry

I have this credit card and I love it! No annual fee 5% cash back on Amazon purchases and no interest because I pay it off every month. You can’t beat it.

  19. Mary

Do you have to be a prime member to get or use this card? If not, then how do I redeem the points?

    • Patricia

Yes, you have to be a Prime Member

  20. Amy

When I click the link it says $50 gift card offer. How do I know I’ll get $100

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hmm, are you a Prime Member? I still see the $100 listed through the link in the post. Hope this helps!

      • Amy

Yes. It’s weird. I clicked through this post and searched it through Amazon.

        • Sarah

          I also only get $50

  21. Mary

So I already have the store card. Can I get this card also and will I qualify for the $100?

  22. Sandra

I’m a Prime member, why is it saying only 3% back with each purchase?

  23. Abby

If my husband has a card already, can I get one and get the $100? We would be using the same Prime account. Anyone know if this will work?
