Amazon Shopper Panel Looks a Little Different – Here’s What’s Changed!

The Amazon Shopper Panel is an AWESOME invitation-only program where members can earn monthly Amazon credits by completing simple tasks. You can earn rewards by sharing receipts from purchases made outside of Amazon.com and by completing short surveys.
Participating in the Amazon Shopping Panel is my absolute favorite way to score easy Amazon credits. In the past year, I earned almost enough credits to cover the entire cost of my Prime membership!
Changes to the Amazon Shopping Panel Program announced in March 2024…
We’ve recently learned about some new changes to the Amazon Shopping Panel including no longer being able to submit receipts for gas station or restaurant purchases.
Despite that change, there are new rewards offers you can earn for purchasing specific products available in the app (similar to how Ibotta and Fetch rewards work).

How does the Amazon Shopper Panel work?
There are several ways for members to earn rewards: You can upload 10 eligible receipts per month, you can earn additional rewards by completing brief surveys as they’re offered to you, and you can enable ad verification on your phone.
Starting in March 2024, you may also see the option to earn rewards for purchasing specific items – similar to how Ibotta and Fetch offers work. For instance, you may see an offer to “Upload a Receipt with a Hanes purchase” by 3/31/24 with a reward amount of $1.
Your participation will help brands offer better products and make Amazon ads more relevant. You’ll also be rewarded for your time with monthly Amazon credits or donations to charitable organizations if you choose.
How do members submit receipts to earn rewards?
Earning rewards is truly SO easy. Just upload 10 eligible receipts per month by using the Amazon Shopper Panel app to take pictures of your paper receipts. You can also forward email receipts to receipts@panel.amazon.com. You’ll receive a reward when you submit 10 or more eligible receipts in a month.
I just save the first 10 paper receipts I get every month for eligible stores I shop at and then scan them all in one sitting to save time. They can be from most retail stores, including grocery stores and drug stores, that give out paper receipts. It only takes me about three minutes to upload all 10 of my receipts each month!
Are there any other ways to earn additional rewards?
Amazon Shopper Panel members also receive short surveys in the app, and you can earn rewards for each survey you complete. Reward amounts vary per survey (usually between 25¢ and $1), and you will be able to see the reward offered before choosing to complete the survey.
These surveys are seriously SO short – usually anywhere from one to four questions long, and they take mere seconds to complete!
Starting in March 2024, you may also see the option to earn rewards for purchasing specific items – similar to how Ibotta and Fetch offers work. For instance, you may see an offer to “Upload a Receipt with a Hanes purchase” by 3/31/24 with a reward amount of $1. Once you upload your receipt for that purchase, you’ll earn the listed reward amount.
What kind of rewards can members earn?
When you submit 10 or more eligible receipts in a month, you’ll earn $10 towards either your Amazon Gift Card Balance or the charitable organization of your choice. You’ll earn additional rewards each month for every survey you complete, too.

I’ve been a member of the Amazon Shopper Panel since March of 2021, and I earn a minimum of $10 every month. In all that time, I’ve never had any issues getting the payout that I earned. Within the first 48 hours of the following month, I always find the credit in my Amazon account, ready to spend. Easy peasy!
Overall, my experience with Amazon Shopper Panel has been outstanding. I enthusiastically recommend this program without any hesitation to everyone I know!
How do I sign up for the Amazon Shopper Panel?
The Amazon Shopper Panel app is free to download and use, but spots on the Panel are available to a limited number of Amazon customers in the US.
I was lucky to receive an invitation to join the program in March of 2021, but anyone can download the app from the App Store or the Google Play Store and check to see if space is available. If not, you’ll be waitlisted and notified when a spot opens up.
Hip Tip: When you do receive your invitation, be sure to join the program right away before you forget! Invitations expire after 45 days, and you may not get another chance to join.
So… what’s the catch?!
While the Amazon Shopper Panel isn’t perfect, I’ve never encountered any serious issues after using it for almost a year and a half. Of course, I have found a couple of areas of improvement that I would love to see addressed in the future.
Here are the things I’d change about the Amazon Shopper Panel:
- Allow members to enter more than 10 receipts per month. I would love the opportunity to earn more than a base rate of $10/month, but I can certainly understand the need to limit this, and I honestly don’t expect the cap of 10 receipts to ever be increased.
- Open up more opportunities for folks on the waitlist. One of my Hip colleagues has been waiting for months to get off the waitlist, while other users slide right in. There’s no explanation or estimated wait time given to those who are waitlisted, and that can be pretty frustrating.
The truth is that the negative aspects have been minor annoyances for me, but certainly not anything serious enough to discourage me from participating. All things considered, I love being a part of the Amazon Shopper Panel, and I’m totally hooked on it now!
This is one app I would never want to delete from my phone, and I plan to continue with it for as long as those credits keep piling up in my account. It’s totally worth the few minutes I spend scanning receipts every month!

I have been doing it since March 2021 too, I haven’t missed a month. I have made $378.50 which includes quick surveys (about $18.50 in total according to my calculations). I prioritize receipts that would not give out much personal information, like gas stations. “Yeah Amazon, I don’t mind you know gas prices in my area”. That’s why I am not surprised about these changes. I do love the program, but the idea of giving information on spending habits make me uncomfortable, that’s why I carefully pick the 10 receipts I submit. Good luck to those in the waiting list! 🙂

I’ve earned about $96 over the past year. (missed uploading my receipts a few times or it would be more). First found out about it here on H2S!
I wonder if the waitlist depends on shopper habits. Not necessarily frequency, but maybe types of items purchased. I can’t remember how long I waited, but I don’t feel like it was very long. I know it wasn’t six months to a year like some people stated above. Hope you all get in soon

Once I found the way to send in email receipts (on the upload receipt tab, it has a blue link that says “have an email receipt” that provides the email address to forward them to) I submit my ten receipts within the first couple days of every month! It’s super easy. And a great way to get a couple dollars of my money back from Amazon every month!

I’ve been doing Amazon Shopper Panel since Feb 2021 and have earned $193. So easy to save for holiday shopping that way. I have been on the panel since November 2020 and have received over $200, and I missed 2 months, because I forgot to upload like 1-2 receipts by the last day. I wish they had a grace period (like 24 hours), because both times I realized it right on the 1st of the month. IMO, this is the best cashback / reward program out there. You get a minimum of $10/month deposited to your gift card balance. It is so easy and takes minutes every month. I absolutely LOVE it and recommend it to anyone who can join. Good luck!

I never knew this til one poster mentioned it here with the post about surveys like pinecone. So I went to the website and applied. Since May 2021, I earned $162. Not bad for scanning receipts and answering 3-4 question surveys for usually 50 cents each.

I’ve been on the panel since November 2020 after reading about on here. I’ve earned $223 which in my mind goes to my prime fee :). What’s strange is I didn’t receive an invite – I just downloaded the app and started looking around. And sure enough next time I went in I was able to submit receipts! I have earned money every month like clockwork and usually give it right back to them!
I have been part of the panel since June 2021 and have made $146. in gift cards. Besides Fetch, it is the only app I use like this because it is so easy. Fetch is also easy, even though I shop mostly at Aldi and Costco and don’t buy so many name brand items. Plus a lot of the bonuses don’t apply to anything we buy. We have no babies, don’t buy feminine products or Depends ( not yet!), don’t drink beer, have no Krogers, dog passed away last year and not ready for a new one! My referral is HHPE1 if you want to earn points for signing up!

Been using this app since Feb. 2021. I’ve found that when I’m scanning for another cash back app I scan for this one at the same time just to ensure I don’t miss any months of freebies.

This sounds like the Fetch Rewards app. Is this one better?
Hey Bea! The apps are similar – they are both reward apps for submitting your receipts! Amazon Shopper Panel is invitation only with two reward options – $10 Amazon balance or $10 charitable donation, which you receive when you submit 10 eligible receipts in a month. Fetch Rewards allows you to earn points on the receipts you submit and redeem for a gift card from a selection of “hundreds.” I personally love what both apps have to offer! Can someone on the panel send an invitation, or does the invitation have to come from Amazon?
i have been doing just the surveys since February. I am on the wait-list for submitting receipts. Has anyone experienced this. I am curious. How long did it take to be able to submit receipts? Hoping I can submit receipts soon. 🤞
Me! I’ve been waiting since February too. I check daily and only get the small surveys once or twice per month.
I was waitlisted for a few months and then I got in! Now that I’ve been in for over a month, I haven’t received any surveys and I’m on the waitlist to submit receipts. I earned $2 for allowing the app to check ads across apps. But, that’s it.
Has anyone else been waitlisted to submit receipts or had to wait for a long time to get any surveys? I check the app at least twice a week looking for surveys and if I’m off the waitlist for submitting receipts.

I got on for surveys ONLY in February, 2023. Only got surveys for about 6 months. Haven’t received any since then. I am still on waitlist for receipts. I would love to do the receipts. I wish they would send me surveys at least. Very frustrating.

You can submit more than 10 receipts each month, you just don’t get anything “extra ” for them. However, I noticed on months that I submit more receipts, I get more surveys..
