Here’s what Hip2Savers think about Beachbody:

I have followed the Beachbody workouts and nutrition program throughout my entire pregnancy and feel healthier than I did pre-pregnancy and when I had my first child. No matter what your fitness level is, you can modify and still feel great doing it.” Hip2Save Sidekick, Alana

“I love Beachbody! Their subscription is totally worth it (and this is coming from someone very frugal LOL). They have a variety of workouts so you can truly find something that works for your level.” – Tiffany

“I absolutely LOVE Beachbody On Demand! I have had it for about a year and it is worth every penny! I finally made the commitment and purchased when I realized I pay MORE FOR NETFLIX and it does nothing for me! With BOD, I get healthy for my money! What a great return on my investment!” – Anna

Build it into a schedule. That is the only way I am able to get it in. Quiet time for everyone = workout time for mom!

  2. Kim

I’m a huge Beachbody fan! For all those Mama’s out there that are home with kiddos, try adding fitness to your schedule for everyone. While I do Beachbody they either play just dance, cosmic kids yoga, or even join me with some light weights. It’s such a good habit for them too. I know it’s hard with real little ones, so incorporate them if needed. Kids on your hip make great weights and tag is killer cardio. We got this! Stay strong friends 😁

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for taking the time to share these tips, Kim! SO fun to get the kiddos involved too!

    • Debra

      Love your positive vibes!!

  3. Jen

I love Beach Body On Demand and was an annual subscriber before this quarantine started. There is a great variety of programs and it is only $99 for the year. Cheaper than a gym.

    • Irene (Hip Sidekick)

That’s a great way to look at it Jen! Less expensive than a gym!

Not only does Beachbody have the most amazing programs to choose from, joining a team that is suppper supportive helps so much!! I didn’t stick with it until I joined our team. We have 200 girls in our group that post recipes & meal plans & their progress. Mommas like me & you!!! I highly recommend Beachbody & our team of course! 😘😘

I would recommend 21 Day Fix. I have done that program twice now and once you finish Autumn offers a 21 Day Fix Extreme option if you want to continue! I recommend finding a trainer you enjoy and who motivates you to keep going! As a BeachBody Coach I can help you with your journey if you have any other questions!

  5. Raquel

I’ve been interested. Which of the programs would you recommend for beginners/low impact? I’ve tried T25 for example and couldn’t keep up…

    • CJ

I would try Barre Blend! It has low impact, middle, and high – I usually do the middle (and the majority of the women in the video do the middle too) and it kicks my butt even though it isn’t that same kind of crazy cardio / high impact as T25.

    • briana

I agree, I love Barre Blend! 21 Day Fix is another good starting program.

    • Jeanette

I like LIIFT4. I sometimes modify the modifier.

  6. Jacks

I would recommend PiYo. It’s low impact (a mixture of Yoga and Pilates) but the results are amazing! 😍 Plus you feel great too, since you are taking things at a slower pace and intentionally strengthening your body from the inside-out, rather than hopping around like crazy… It’s a whoooole different kind of calorie burn. Plus, the trainer Chalene is super down to earth and encouraging. Check it out and see what you think—might be a good fit for your needs 🙌🏻

I totally need to start up again but it was well worth it when I did it last time. I’d rather not have an audience as a get sweaty, blotchy and hate myself for loving all the bad food. Bonus: If you get bored easily you get to change up the workouts.

  9. Amber

Beachbody has been wonderful for me. I joined a few lot ya ago and have great results (physically and non-scale victories!). I recommend it to everyone that will listen, lol!

  10. Eva

Try their Clean Week- you can download the app and try it for free (before even doing the trial).

  11. Deb

Always start with clean week. Read through all the nutrition information too. Eating clean was a major game changer for me.

  12. Laura

I love bbod. I’ve been a member for 18 months and for the first time in my life (and after two kids) I have a six pack!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Wow! That is fantastic! It’s inspiring to hear you have a six-pack, Laura!

  13. Mary

I love the gay/bluish top you are wearing in the main picture, where is it from?? Thanks

    • Mary

      Dark gray/blueish sorry autocorrect

  14. Mindi

I’ve been with Beachbody since 2011 as a discount coach because I love their programs and preworkout! I also like to mix it up with our home gym and incorporating heavy lifts with a barbell but always keep my Beachbody on Demand. 21 day fix is great for beginners. I also like LIIFT4 for beginners or anyone who likes to lift.

  15. Julia

This is a pyramid scheme… don’t sign up. My friend got roped in and ended up spending mad money

    • Holls

Signing up to be a coach is a pyramid scheme, the workouts are not! I have subscribed to beachbody on demand for like 4 or 5 years now and besides my yearly membership fees, I have paid 0 towards anything else. Yes, they suggest shakeology in the workouts and their own equipmeny but I never purchased any of it . They will assign you a coach but that person doesn’t email you or anything, or at least not very often. They are great workouts that you can do from home with minimal equipment and the selection of work outs is great.

    • jennifer-23

Right!?!? It is an MLM. Yes their workouts are probably great. But so are pampered chef products. It doesn’t change the predatory nature of this program that ropes people in to spends an absurd amount.

    • JJ

Can you explain how that happened? I’ve been on BOD for 6 months and have no idea how that’s even possible.

      • Holls

There are two different parts of beachbody. They have their workout programs and they have the coaching program. If you are just doing bod you are fine, they advertise their products but it’s not predatory at all. However, they also have their coaching program and that is an mlm. It’s great that they are separate. It use to be that they would advertise these workouts and you would have to buy the dvd’s but now you just pay an annual fee and get all the programs. As someone who doesn’t like going to a gym and doesn’t have room for a home gym they are a god send. Never in any of the work outs I have done have they tried to get you to sign up to be a coach. I have done some research and you are assigned a coach and that coach will get a small percentage of your annual BOD fee. I have no contact with mine besides a welcome email.

        • SavingsMama

Be very careful and don’t sign on for the coaching discount. It is quite frankly a pyramid scheme. Some of the classes are cool, if you’re motivated to do them. Suggestion, our recreation center is $120 for the year and that’s actual live classes, virtual programming now, pools, workout room etc. That is probably the cheapest option to look into if you have one through your city vs a pricey gym membership. Also, get the family involved! Even teens can do a Saturday morning walk/jog 😉 Good Luck!

  16. Tami H.

Beachbody workouts have been kicking my butt since 2007! I swear by them. Don’t do the groups or Shakeology if you don’t want to, I have never been contacted by my coach or anyone else for promotions. The variety of workouts are highly effective, convenient, and accessible; 💯 worth it IMO. I’ve done many rounds of P90X, T25, Insanity Max 30, and am currently enjoying 6 Weeks of the Work. I’ve tried others but have found these to be most effective for me over the years. Enjoy the journey!

I love the #mbf it’s lifting weights and cardio in one.
