“This is the best charcoal grill I’ve ever used! And believe me, I’ve used many over the years! First off, the manufacturing and engineering are outstanding. When it comes to assembly, everything fits PERFECTLY. The fit and finish are actually quite remarkable and precise; I didn’t expect this level of quality with such an inexpensive grill.
As far as cooking goes – all I can say is ‘WOW’! From a slow smoke/roast to a searing heat, this grill does it all extremely well. One of the first things I roasted/grilled was chicken thighs. I placed them around the outside edge of the grate (it held 8 large thighs perfectly). I kept the temperature (easy to do) at about 275°. After 45 minutes, every single one was perfectly, evenly browned to a light mahogany color. (I flipped them over after about 1/2 hour into the cooking time). Not one was burned, and not one was underdone. Apparently, the shape of this thing makes it work like a convection oven, giving even, consistent results. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase!”
