A nationwide Chick-Fil-A sauce shortage? Say it ain’t so! 😩
If you’re a fan of Chik-Fil-A or more importantly, their signature dipping sauce, now might be a good time to snag a bottle or two from Walmart or Target as an e-mail was recently sent out outlining details of a nationwide shortage – YIKES!
Due to issues with their supply chain, Chick-Fil-A has opted to enact the following sauce limits at their restaurants:
- 1 sauce for an entree
- 2 sauces for a meal
- 3 sauces for 30-count nuggets
Additional restrictions have been placed on sauces when ordering through a delivery service like Uber Eats, Doordash, Grubhub, or Postmates who all offer a choice of only one complimentary sauce per meal or entree.
It appears that catering orders will remain unaffected by the sauce shortage as those large catering orders include the full-size bottles.
If you don’t mind paying for your sauce, you should be able to purchase the 8oz bottles of Chick-Fil-A sauce with your order for anywhere between $2.50 to $3.59
Desperate times call for desperate measures…

Have you heard of the Chick-fil-A dump meal? 🤔
If you’ve spent any time on TikTok lately, you’ve probably seen people participating in a unique form of meal prep that can only be described as making a “dump meal.” If you’re not familiar with this trend, it involves ordering common menu items from a fast-food restaurant, dumping them into a container, and eating them mixed together as a meal.
The most recent “dump meal” to achieve viral status comes to us courtesy of Chick-fil-A. It’s a zesty, saucy, buffalo chicken mac and cheese, and the internet is divided on whether this combination of CFA menu items should be eaten together.
This DIY menu hack has been gaining a lot of traction on social media, and we’ve been curious to see if it would live up to all the hype!
We sent Stetson and his brave stomach out to test the process of making this Chick-fil-A mashup and to sample the end result. Keep reading to see what he had to say about his experience making the DIY Chick-fil-A buffalo mac and cheese!
“Be forewarned: This process does require a little bit of planning. You can’t just cruise through the Chick-fil-A drive-through unprepared for your dump. You need to bring a food storage container with a lid. Since I was out running errands when the urge struck me, I swung by Target to grab a container like this.
Then, I rushed off to Chick-fil-A. I rolled into the drive-thru and placed my order: an 8-piece nugget, medium waffle fries, a small mac and cheese, one buffalo sauce, and one ranch sauce. I pulled around to collect my food and then settled into a parking spot. I’m a firm believer in responsible dumping, and this is a two-handed task that should NOT be attempted on the freeway!
When preparing your Chick-fil-A parking lot dump meal, the order of ingredients doesn’t matter. I took my new container from Target and added the nuggets, fries, mac and cheese, and sauces.
After adding all the ingredients to my container, I sealed the lid tightly and gave the whole business a good shake. Then, I opened the lid and took a critical look at the mixture inside.
I went in for my first bite and – wow! 😱 I found myself clearing out this bowl like I hadn’t eaten all day. For real my friends.”
