Is kohl’s cancelling in store pickup orders? I just placed an order yesterday, just wondering if I should cancel myself.
You could probably call and get them to ship it to your home at no cost since you were supposed to get it in store and they’ve closed. Worth trying instead of just canceling your order.
This is so helpful – thank you for all of the research and great work! A quick note that JCPenney has closed all stores, in case you want to update the list. Thanks!
You’re very welcome, D! Thank YOU for the heads up!
Forever 21 is listed twice—I’m assuming they updated. Just a heads up so you can delete the outdated info 😉
Thanks! I just fixed it!
JcPenney is closed as well until April 2nd. I work there PT on weekends.
Yes they closed yesterday
Thanks! I just updated that.
Anybody knows about ROSS DRESS FOR LESS store timing or are they closed? Thanks!!
We haven’t seen any press releases or emails from Ross to change their normal business hours at this time. As soon as we hear something, we will update you.
Ross is closed until further notice. A friend of mine works there and they called her today to have them pick up their last checks.
From my research, Ross has been closing some stores due to declining sales. She may have been part of that and I’m sorry. We still haven’t been able to find any other information on temporary closures.
Google Ross they are closing their store the 20th. Posted 30 minutes ago
My son works for ROSS in Sequim, WA and they told him after his shift that starting today (3/20), they will close for 2 weeks. But they will be paying their part time employees for 17 hrs each week. I’m not sure how many hours for their full time employees. I thought that was such a great gesture on their part!!
I think Forever 21 is supposed to say 12pm-6pm on Sunday, not 12am?
They are closed now.
Kalahari closed
Thanks so much! That has been added!
But any word on if return policies will be extended at these closing stores? I called Bed Bath and Beyond and The Container Store today and both said they are keeping their return policy and as far as they know, open tomorrow. Sorry, but I’m pregnant and don’t feel safe going to make these returns! It sucks. Don’t need to risk myself or my family.
Same!! I have returns for home goods and kohl’s And an amazon kohl’s return to do that expires within this time. Idk what to do now
Take it to ups….they are still open. You can return your amazon that way
Same I have returns for Macy’s . Stores are closed, tried calling their 800 to see if I could mail it, but they don’t have anyone available. Hopefully they open and I can return before I have to pay my credit card 🙁
Bed, bath and beyond sent an email to it’s members a few days ago stating they are EXTENDING their return period up to 240 days from the purchase date. Idk about another stores. They seem to NOT KNOW at this time. 🤦🏻♀️ DDs discount and Burlington
Planet Fitness – closed but I can’t find the email with the dates.
Thanks! I found the info and added it.
I wish they wouldn’t of charged for the month since I can’t go in for over two weeks
Lego stores are closed until at least the 27th.
Thank you, Emily!
Some Macy’s stores are closed as are all corporate Hallmark stores. The corporate Hallmark stores will remain closed until April 1st.
Thank you, Luis!

Thanks, Ian!
Technically not a consumer retail closure, but Alabama beaches are now closed to the public as of 5pm today. We still have a lot of spring breakers and snow birds here currently.
Thanks for sharing that with us, Elizabeth! Good to know!
So tired of all the people crying about the “greedy people who are hoarding everything” People are just stocking up. Big difference. There are thousands and thousands of people who don’t usually go out and do big shopping who are now buying more food and supplies than usual. So of course there’s going to be a shortage for awhile. Stop blaming everyone because you can’t find what you need.
Some people are hoarding though, that’s why there’s a shortage. Someone filling their cart up with toilet paper and water and pasta to last 6 months is hoarding.
I agree. Some are hoarding much more than they need. It’s one thing to stock up but another to try building up a 6 month supply all of a sudden.
If people would just get what they for the next 2 weeks or even month there would be plenty for everyone. There’s people that need essentials that are really struggling to find them.
Hope everyone stays safe and calm during this time. Today in California our governor put a state wide notice of shelter in place. So only can go out to get food medicine or other essentials. There is no toilet paper or eggs in town but i was able to get online at dollar General at 1am last night and they had some toilet paper in stock and now its being shipped. So maybe try your luck that way.
Tjmaxx, Sierra Trading Post, Marshalls both retail AND online are closed for 2 weeks. I am assuming this means homegoods online as well!!!
Thanks so much for letting us know! The list has been updated!
Not that itll matter to most.. but David’s Bridal is also closed unless it is curbside pickup for something you ordered.
Our wedding was canceled. Theyll still honor their refund policy an additional 2 weeks after they open.
SO sorry to hear about that, Heather. Thanks a bunch for the heads up on this information. I have added it to the list above.
I’m really sorry to hear that. I hope that when this is all over it’s even better because you’ll have had ample time to plan every minute detail!
This is about as serious as it gets if Kohl’s is closing!
Are pet stores open? Maybe make a list of what is still open? My friend got a nail in her car tire. She is a nurse, what auto places are open so she can get it fixed so she can go to work? Just an idea. Take care.
I used midas when this happened to me. They fixed it for free!
Thank you for this extensive list.
You’re most welcome, Richy! Glad this list is helpful!
Cheesecake Factory closed all restaurants, not paying their employees. They claim they cannot even pay the rent on many locations. I read they made $2.4 billion last year. We will never eat there again.
Incorrect. Only 27 locations have closed temporarily, but the remaining are open following local take out/delivery guidelines. I heard furloughed employees are going to continue to receive health benefits. And the ceo and other higher ups have taken a pay cut to navigate the ever changing pandemic.
I agree! Will never eat there again! If it’s mom & pop stores, I will totally on board. But for Cheesecake Factory claiming they can’t pay the rent because of the slow business is just nonsense. Look at their CEO’s salary! Made million last year. If you want to know which big companies that treat their employees well, this is the time. Look who’s stepping up to help.
The Olympics!
postponed for one year

Nice to have list.
Be safe and healthy !
You’re welcome, Amy! Wishing you all the same! 💖
I ordered Starbucks to go yesterday (3/27) and they were only allowing pick-up through the long drive thru line, I could not enter the store.
To add to the wonderful things that retailers are doing to help customers out, I just got an email from Walgreens stating that they were putting a “pause” on the expiration date for customers’ rewards. I went and messaged a grocery store (Hy-Vee), a wonderful Midwest grocery chain, because I had some fuel rewards expiring. We simply have NOT been doing any traveling and I was not going to be able to take advantage of them any time real soon. I was so grateful that they went ahead and extended my fuel rewards that were expiring next week out for another 30 days. Again, restaurants and grocery chains are pretty amazing in these ever-changing times.
Oh awesome! Thanks for taking the time to share that with us, Lisa!
Buckle stores are also closed until further notice, but you can still shop online at Buckle.com.
Went to Starbucks drive-thru this morn in Indiana, & it was completely closed! They had a notice they won’t open till April 30th to comply with virus order. What’s up with that? We are not even in a major city. 😞
Airbnb may be giving refunds for stays up to April 14, but I have a reservation in New York City on April 18 — three weeks from now!). They refuse to give me a refund as does the host. Are you kidding me? I’m at risk, but even those who aren’t shouldn’t be going to NYC in the next few weeks (months?). Airbnb will not longer respond to customers. They get to keep my money and get a bail-out, too.
Karen, can you dispute your CC charge? If you used that? And not sure what the reason would be…. other than “pandemic.” It seems rationale to me… but who am I! Hope it works out for you and you stay well.
Yeah what about petsmart stores are they open because I don’t see them on the list and Am in need of going to get some pet food
Hershey park events?
They are trying to open by early June, but will watch what national health officials have to say. You can read more about it here: https://stories.hersheypa.com/covid-19-impact-across-hershey-entertainment–resorts/
