Check out how much readers LOVE this program…

“My daughter knows the books are coming and every month she asks me when will her book present be here. They’re great books. Our favorite discovery was the Otis the Tractor series, such cute books. And Bunny’s Library Trip was so cute as well.”

“Both of our boys, ages 3 years and 16 months, LOVE getting their book in the mail every month! Our older son has never been into reading or story time, but this helps make it so much more exciting for him. Our younger son has always loved books and you can tell it makes him feel extra special to get his very own every month. I am so excited to sign our new addition up when they arrive in a few months, too.”

Get a head start on your kiddo’s library with these book deals!

We loved this when we lived in AL! Now that we are in MS, we can’t be a part of the program. If you have it in your area, sign up! Some of our favorite books are from there!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for letting us know how enjoyable it was!

    • Malinda

Our kids had this. It was wonderful. They loved getting new books in the mail. We live in Tennessee and thought it was only available here at that time.

  2. Tina9222

Available in my area but not taking new application at the moment??? 😭

  3. Krithika

It is offered in our area of Pennsylvania. When opened, I found information at the library. We live in NW PA.

  4. Heather

  5. T

It says not offered in my area, but I was able to sign up like 10 years ago. Wonder what would of happened.

  6. nikis22

I have followed this for 2 years and never available. Oh well.

  7. Sue

I have signed up all 6 of my kids. Sometimes we get duplicates. But we just donate those to the little book box or give to the school. Most of the time they are ones we don’t have.

  8. Kk-h

Hoping they will have them available soon in MN

My youngest participated until she aged out at five. It is a wonderful program and the books are unique and diverse. I highly recommend it!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for the recommendation!

  11. Ruby

    Got one. Thank you!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re welcome, Ruby!

The reason it isn’t available everywhere is that an organization in each area must sponsor a pay some of the cost. Imagination Library picks the books and arranges shipping but sponsoring organization pays some of the cost.

If it is available in your zip code there are no income limits for participating families.

    • Tina Tina

Yeah, I signed my daughter up initially thinking there are no income limits or limit on amount of people, so I’m not taking away from someone less fortunate by signing up. I realized after the fact that our local United way is really the one footing the cost and now I feel kind of bad, like I am taking something from them that I don’t need, when that money could go to someone who actually needs it. I make a United way donation each year now to make myself feel better, but this program is not cost free, someone in your local community is footing the bill.

We just got our very first ones this month but signed up months ago. Do you have to sign up again each time or will they continue to send them?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! It appears that once you are registered, you are all signed up to begin receiving them each month!

    • v

Once you sign up, they will continue to send a book each month until your child turns five.

    • Margaret LaGraize

Is Metairie, Louisiana offered in this area?

  14. KCha

I’ve been checking for years- available in my area but “not accepting applications at this time” ☹️

  15. V

My child received these books when he was younger. It was so much fun for him. Unfortunately my mailperson would always fold the book. I am a former teacher and book hoarder, so that just killed me. Anyway, my child loved this and it is such a wonderful program for all children. When my child got older, we were sure to pass them along.

  16. Kat

So we have post them registration form ..

  17. mrswagley

Man. They still don’t have it here. I even got the local reps email but never received any responses. 😓

  18. Tricia

My son had this until he turned 5, he’s 11 now but it was an awesome thing to have back then.

  19. lightup

Not accepting new accounts I. My area either, been trying over 3 years…

  20. Christy

Yes! We signed up when we brought our daughter home last year. We love the program.
