You can also register for the November 26th Home Depot Kids Workshop Event where kiddos will be able to create their own Train Ornament! How fun!
This event will also take place from 9 AM to 12 PM local time.
HIP TIP: Like to plan ahead? Click here and you can go ahead and register for the November and December workshop events today!
To get in on this fun event, you will want to register online as soon as possible, as spots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. With that in mind, signing up early is always a good idea as these kits don’t tend to last very long!
We recommend that you call your local Home Depot store before heading out to find out if they have the kits in stock before you make a special trip.
Plus, you can snag these kits online for under $5!
Want to do your Workshop kit from the comfort of your own home or missed out on the last few Kids Workshop kits? No worries! You can still grab a variety of past and current kits online for as low as $4.98 and use your own tools to get the job done! 🔨
These kits also include a certificate of completion, an apron pin, and a Kids Workshop apron! Plus, Home Depot provides easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions with these complete at-home kits and a video to help your child create this item, all of which are available on Home Depot’s website.
For example, October’s kit was this fun fire rescue boat pack! If you decide to complete your project at home, you will just need to supply your own screwdriver, wood glue, a hammer, and your kiddo’s favorite paint colors.

These workshops are so fun. I got tons of the kits to bring home during the peak of COVID, but we struggled to find the time to do them. We’ve been attending the Home Depot and Lowe’s ones for a month or two, and my kids (6&8), husband, and I all love them. They supply the paint, hammers, nails, and everything. So well done! – Hip reader, Lpmousse
