When I looked into a promo for the iPhone 13, I noticed I would have to upgrade to a 5G plan which was double what I was paying. Not worth it for a free phone. Just beware and understand all the terms before doing some of the promos.
Thanks for posting this. I didn’t know that, and I’m also not willing to pay more each month for 5G.
Is there any unlocked iPhone 12, 13 or Samsung s21 ultra deals??
Same….looking for unlocked deals
Anyone know if AT&T will do a price adjustment on the SE prepaid deal? Where do I tell them this sale is listed?? Thank you
Also, how many GB is the SE offered for art prepaid at $149? Thank you!!
It’s too bad these are all for unlimited plans. I don’t need an unlimited plan and it would definitely cost me over $100 more per month.
There aren’t good cell phones deals this year for t-mobile/sprint especially with the android samsung galaxy s series.
I have done the math over and over again and it’s still cheaper to buy the iPhone 13 directly from apple and then go with a no contract company like straight talk. I pay $37 a month with straight talk. I get to divide my iPhone cost up over 24 months without interest with the Apple Card. So that adds $41 to my monthly phone costs. So for 24 months my cell phone bill is $78 total, and then it goes back down to $38. Cheaper than any service
I’m still not sure which store to go to for the best IPhone deal?
How is straight talk? Do they have a lot of coverage? Do you have unlimited for the 38$
Suzanne- it uses the same towers as whatever cell phone coverage as whatever SIM card you decide to put in your iPhone. For example I was using an ATT sim in my iPhone. I would have spotty service some locations- not because of straight talk but because ATT had spotty service in those areas- so I decided to switch SIM cards to Verizon, and if fixed my issue because apparently Verizon has better coverage where I am. When you buy the iPhone directly from apple, you are free to use whatever company you want, it will be carrier unlocked- meaning you can put whatever sim in it you want that works best for you. Have had them for 12 years and it has probably saved me thousands
How to save money at Apple
Since discounts are so skinny, how can you really save on Apple products? Consider buying certified refurbished. You can snag Macs, iPads, iPhones and all the other previous-generation Apples with savings that can run to hundreds of dollars. And the “like new” tech comes with a one-year warranty.
Other savings hacks:
Trade in your old gear (if eligible) and get a purchase credit applied to an Apple gift card to save even more.
The veterans and military purchase program allows a 10% discount to military-connected consumers and their immediate family members.
Use an Apple Card and get 3% cash back.
Look for carrier deals. For example, AT&T offers up to an $800 credit on a new iPhone 13 or 13 Pro after a trade-in. T-Mobile and Verizon offer similar credits.
Thanks so much for these helpful tips! 🙌
Thanks for sharing. I don’t like making payments. I want to keep my current phone as a backup phone. This is what I did. I purchased the iPhone 12 online on Apple’s website ($749 for 128 GB. It was $808 after taxes). I purchased six $100 Apple gift cards at Target throughout the week. Each gift card cost $95.75. I received a $15 Target gift card for each purchase. I earned a $20 Target reward. I also purchased a $200 Apple gift card from Kroger. I received a $40 statement credit from American Express (Kroger Offer). Below is my out of the pocket breakdown and what I received for my iPhone 12 purchase.
I paid $774.50 for $800 in Apple gift cards
I received $90 in Target gift cards
I earned a $20 Target reward for completing four $60 trips
I earned a $50 Apple gift card (Apple Promotion)
I earned a $40 Statement Credit from American Express.
I had $10 in apple credit, so I had enough to cover my $808 purchase.
Sunflower….What a great example of how a little bit of footwork can save you hundreds of dollars. You obviously took your time, researched your purchase and in the end covered all your bases. You must feel really content with your new I-phone purchase.
