Target Wedding Registry vouchers

Planning a wedding and wondering where to register for the big day?

Check out the Target Wedding Registry! We love it for so many reasons. From cookware and furniture to sleeping bags and digital cameras, Target has just about everything you and your partner could ever want for your new life together! ❤️

Target even offers tons of unbeatable registry perks, like a completion coupon for the items remaining on your registry, bonus gifts from select brands with qualifying purchases, AND lots of other awesome benefits to help your special day end happily ever after! 👰🏼🤵🏼

1. Get free coupons!

Target Wedding Registry Scanner

Ummm….hello savings! The week of your event date, Target will send you TWO 15% off discounts to use on everything left on your wedding registry, one valid in-store and one valid on Target.com only. The discounts will be valid on everything left on your registry and will expire six months after your event date, so you can snag the rest of the items at a discount (but note that the offers exclude select brands)!

Your 15% off coupons will be sent to the email address associated with your registry, but note that your registry needs to be active for at least 14 days before your coupon can be created. You can also access the coupon/promotion from your online registry at Target.com or the Registry mobile app.

Note: The in-store discount is not valid on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Wii U, Apple, Nikon or Canon cameras, Bose, Vitamix, gift cards, and Target Mobile Solutions. The online discount is not valid on LEGO, gift cards, eGiftCards, gift wrap, clearance, entertainment, and electronics.

2. Buy select brands, get free gifts.

Who doesn’t love getting a freebie for something you were planning on buying anyway!? When you receive or purchase select brands that are on your registry, you can redeem FREE bonus gifts!

For instance, check out this current promotion! Whenever you receive $300 of Circulon products from your registry, you’ll be eligible to redeem a FREE sweetheart pan from the Circulon website. Note that these offers are subject to change and there may be an additional charge for shipping the bonus gift.

Plus, just for creating a Target Wedding Registry, you’ll get exclusive savings from select partners! Savings are subject to change but may include 20% off DIY Flower Kits, a FREE tux rental for the groom with five tux or suit rentals, a FREE wedding card sample, and more!

3. Add items from your other registries.

If you’re registering at other retailers or online sites like Amazon, you can even create a universal registry and add those items to your Target Wedding Registry – a great way to keep things organized!

When you see something you like on another retailer’s site, click the “+Target Registry” button on your bookmark bar to add the item to your Target registry. Gift givers will be directed to the site where the item is available for purchase, but note that these items will not automatically be updated as purchased on the Target registry. Also, items purchased from other retailers cannot be returned at Target.

4. Don’t be afraid to price match!

Target Cash Register

Did you know that Target will price match your wedding registry registry items? If you buy a qualifying registry item at Target then find the identical item for less at Target.com, select online competitors, or in Target’s or a competitors local print ad, you can rest assured that you’ll get the lowest price!

Just bring in the proof within 14 days after purchase and Target will adjust your payment to the lower price (exclusions apply). Target store price matches and adjustments can be completed in store at any lane – or you can call Target.com Guest Services at 1-800-591-3869 for online purchases.

5. Returns and exchanges are easy.

If you receive an item as a gift and later decide that it doesn’t quite fit in your new space, you can easily return or exchange it. Just visit any of the 1,800+ Target stores nationwide to return your new, unopened gifts for up to one YEAR after your big day (exclusions may apply).

6. Easily keep track of your gifts.

Thank you note

Can’t remember who gave you that set of dishes? Or that vacuum? Planning a wedding can be a little crazy, but with Target’s Wedding Registry you can see who gave you what and who you’ve already thanked. Just select the gift tracker icon from your registry page to see a list of gifts purchased, along with the quantity, purchaser name, and date.

7. Enable group gifting.

Don’t hesitate to add expensive items to your registry! With group gifting, Target makes it easy for guests to contribute toward larger items priced over $100 (group gifting is automatically enabled for purchases over $100).

How does it work? Gift givers can contribute toward an eGiftCard for you to put toward the purchase of an item from a Target store or online (instead of the actual gift, you’ll get a Target eGiftCard to purchase the gift yourself). While the price of items may change, the group gift dollar amount will match the price of the item when the first contribution was made to that group gift.

8. Get funds for your honeymoon.

Prefer to have donations towards your honeymoon instead of gifts? Target has partnered with Honeyfund (as seen on Shark Tank!) to allow your friends and family to contribute funds to your honeymoon and newlywed experiences as a wedding gift. You can use the funds for honeymoon travel, adventures, date nights, classes, entertainment, and more! Plus, there are zero fees for gift givers!

When you register for Target honeymoon and newlywed experience gifts powered by Honeyfund, a Honeyfund account will automatically be created for you. Honeyfund will send an email to confirm your account, and you’ll be able to customize your fund settings. You can also publish a Honeyfund page that is linked from your Target Wedding Registry and customize your Honeyfund page to include wedding details, travel plans, and additional gift offerings for your guests to choose from.

Note that when you activate your account, you can choose one of two ways to redeem your gifts:

  • Honeyfund Gift Card: Convert the funds to a zero-fee digital gift card, selecting from a network of digital gift card partners.
  • Cash out: Receive Honeyfund gifts as cash into your bank account through WePay for a fee (2.8% + $0.30 per withdrawal transaction).

Note: If you don’t choose a redemption method prior to a gift being given, the default redemption method will be a Honeyfund Gift Card, and it cannot be changed later for gifts already received.

9. Print free registry inserts.

Did you know that Target has a handy Registry app that’s completely FREE and super easy to use?! With this handy app, you can conveniently add items to your wedding registry (or any other Target registry for that matter), mark items as most wanted to inspire gift givers, share your registry with friends and family, use the handy checklist so you don’t forget anything – and, you can even scan barcodes to easily add items while you’re at the store! 🙌🏻

Waiting for my boyfriend to propose and it’s taking forever grrrr

    • Deb

It’s 2019—–you can propose to him and even give him a ring.

      • Kip

Had that talk with my husband 10 years ago. Either we are on the same page or not. I did not propose but what is this whole, “I am waiting (I know more than one girl going on 5 years of dating) and hoping he will ask”. I keep giving him pictures of rings – and he keeps not buying them. x)

Maybe the delay is telling u something..

      • anaa

yup, I would for sure move on if we didn’t agree on something like that.

    • gege1804

Wishing you the best. Hopefully this year you get your heart desire 😊.

Unfortunately target doesn’t list the name of the gift givers like amazon does. Makes it hard when guests sent gifts purchased online with no name or note. We are still trying to find out who gave what through target.

    • coulter

Yes that happened to my cousin. Someone bought her a car seat and it said delivered but never was. It was such a lengthy process to locate it because she had to find out who sent it. She spend alot of time on FB, snap, insta trying to see who sent it so they could send in the receipt etc.. bad system target has…

That’s so weird! When I got married in 2017 they had an option where you could either see the gift givers or “keep them a secret” from yourself but you always had the option to switch over and see who the gift giver was. It was my favorite feature of their registry – I was able to pre-write so many thank you cards months before the wedding from that feature!

The other great thing is you can add more the the registry even after the wedding and you’ll still get the discount. You can also return/exchange anything on the registry without a receipt as long as its listed.

    • Alikia29

It doesn’t even have to be listed. Loved it!

Our biggest problem was that Target discontinued items frequently. We had to redo our registry 3 times. One of my coworkers did her baby registry on a Saturday and on Monday more than half of it was discontinued/clearanced. I don’t think I would ever use them again for any type of registry.

  5. Pris

I did target baby registry with my first baby. I received the crib mobile twice. When I tried returning it they would return it without a receipt. The sad part was that the brand was Circo (I think that’s how you spell it) which was their own exclusive brand. My next pregnancy we decided to go with babies r us ☹️

    • Kit

THat is not a target exclusive brand. It also was a different time. Now it is based on your past returns/purchases not strict about no receipt. If you have a baby registry now you can make returns for items not on your registry with NO reciept and with no penalty/drivers license hit. You just log into your registry in the red device and then return any items using your barcode.
