Wow, $4.99 rental at the kiosk?? How much are redbox movie rentals at the kiosk where everyone else lives? Where we are in NC they are $1.85 for regular and $2 for blueray.

Yes same here San Antonio Texas $1.85 for regular $2.00 blue rays

I’m seeing $1.85 now as well. Thanks for commenting! 🙌This has been updated.🤗

Thanks so much for sharing the price near you!

Does this work in-person at the kiosk but not if you use the promo while reserving a disc online for pickup? I’m getting this message: That promo code can’t be used for your movie(s). Check the offer details to see which movie(s) are eligible. Note: Some codes are only valid at the Kiosk, but let’s see what you’ve got.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Sarah! It seems this should work for both options. I do find it to apply for me when reserving a box online at my nearest location. Hoping this is helpful! 🙌💖

I’ve found that these codes only work for certain movies now. (They used to work on any.) Try a few movies until you find one that works.

      • Sarah

Yes, that seems to be the case! Thanks!

I couldn’t get the code to work on the movie Free Guy…not sure if it was because it was only available on DVD? Anyone have luck using the code on that movie?

    • tracey

It worked for me on Addams Family 2, but not Ron’s Gone Wrong…both were regular dvds. Very frustrating to be fussing with at the box!

      • Michelle W

It seems to be based on movie. Wish we knew the list of which ones ☺️. Ron’s Gone Wrong is on Disney + if you have it. I was surprised since it isn’t a “Disney” movie.
