My Whole Outfit is From Walmart (Yes, Walmart!) – And My Dress is Under $10!

Walmart has everything, but have you ever wondered what the best-sellers are in women’s apparel? 🤔 You may not exactly think of chic & trendy when you hear the word Walmart, let alone Walmart Fashion. But thanks to readers like you, we’re able to see what the best buys really are!
So, if you’re looking for some affordable staple pieces, the top online trends (yes, even at Walmart), then you’ve come to the right place. Read on to find out what Walmart’s top 3 women’s apparel best-sellers are and how together they make the cutest outfit! 😍
1. This popular sleeveless knit dress by Time and Tru even comes with pockets!
I promise you, this is going to be your new go-to summer dress for all things casual, formal, lounging around the house, you name it – this dress is so incredibly comfortable! It even comes in 3 different striped colors – black & white, red, white & blue, and yellow & white, but hurry because they’re selling out fast!
If only I could find a way to let you all reach through your screen and feel this fabric… only then would you know just how soft this dress is! In my opinion, it feels like a dress you would have paid $40 for at a more expensive name-brand store, expect it’s just under $10! 😱
The fabric is thick and flowy, but still totally comfortable to wear in hot weather. I love the modest neckline and the sleeves fit so perfectly, but best of all, this dress has hidden pockets which is a major bonus in my book!
You could wear this dress as a swimsuit cover-up, out to dinner, or easily around the house too. Plus, it will even last you beyond summertime!

I tend to steer clear of jean jackets because they feel too stiff and uncomfortable, but this denim jacket is the perfect amount of stretch & structure. I could easily and comfortably wear it all the time, plus it goes with just about anything!

I guess what I really should have named this Walmart fashion post is “Time and Tru’s 3 best top sellers” because, from head to toe, they’re hitting the mark on so many trendy pieces – including these gorgeous sandals! Not only that, but they make for a pretty awesome Birkenstock dupe! 😍
If you’ve been reading some of my fashion posts long enough then you already know I love finding awesome dupes (did you see my Lululemon ones?!). Besides the fact these are on Walmart’s top seller’s list, they’re also one of my favorite finds to date and are so comfortable! 🙌 It’s also worth mentioning just like the identical Birkenstock sandals, Walmart also offers them in many different colors such as black, cognac, rose gold, white, and even more poppy prints like florals and cheetah – plus so many more!

Can I ask how much you weigh? I’m 5 ft 5 inches and 130 lbs. wondering if I should order small or medium?
I’m about 120 pounds, ShaJ, but I would just stick with whatever size you would normally wear so that you’re comfortable. I typically wear an XS and it fit me perfectly.
I would go with a small. I am 5’6 and 110 and small was a bit too flowy for me.

I have that dress in a few colors and use as a swim cover up. I hang to dry and it has worn well since I bought last summer.

We have a saying at our house…Walmart fall apart, shrink up and get wider. The outfit is cute, but you get what you pay for. Their clothes are only good for a few wears and washes. (Line drying included)
Walmart has gone down hill in quality in every department. I just do not love Walmart anymore. Don’t even get me started on their produce department. Smh.
I am not a fan of Walmart – and being a very tall person I find their clothes generally don’t fit me. Having said that – I actually have this dress. I bought it late last summer and it has held up better than expected. I have other time and tru dresses that I wear and for the most part have held up nicely. So for $12ish, and about a dozen wears on this dress, I would say it’s been worth it.
*note I believe I paid $11.88 in store last year on vacation.
I do know they can make some pretty cheap clothing items, Laurie, so I agree with you there. However, like Hhotz mentioned below the quality of this dress fabric is so wonderful!
I have a lot of clothes from there because I was working so much last year and it was the only place open crazy hours that I could see the clothes in person. I love the designs but even with delicate washing an item alone and hang dry they still get pilling. They are still cute, and I still get compliments on them. Likey I am the only one that notices my clothes are messed up.
If you like dresses like these, try the jersey swing dresses at old navy. I tried this walfart dress last yr and washed cold, line dried, it shrunk and the neck bothered me. I have 8 of the old navy dresses in long/short sleeves and sleeveless. They wash well, i have even dried a few by mistake and no change!

I bought a pair of Time and Tru capri pants last summer and I love them. I am tall and even though it is midrise, I am surprised they fit. Midrise on me are usually too low.

I’m a fluffy chick and used to be very hesitant about Walmart’s plus size clothing, but last month when I was laid off from my job of 20 years, my mother arrived with an entire new summer wardrobe for me. Everything is so soft, so comfortable, fits well and is super cute. And everything came from Walmart with crazy low prices. Because of deals like this, my mom brought me joy in the moment of grief.

How would this dress be as a maternity dress? Would I just Look huge or cute
Currently 29 weeks pregnant and bought this dress in my normal size and it’s perfect! Seriously so comfortable and the best material.
A dress would certainly be a cute and comfortable way to be dressed during pregnancy, Katibell. If your pre-pregnancy clothes are getting snug, then I would recommend sizing up during pregnancy. Otherwise, stick with your normal size since it is flowy, as Tiffany O also mentioned. 🙂 Hope this helps!

I’m a fan of Time & Tru, even though i don’t think much of Wal-Mart clothes in general. I purchased two pairs of sandals last summer/fall. I also purchased their dark blue floral and yellow wrap dresses on clearance this spring. I like the white denim jacket too! At least WM is trying to step up their game.

I have 2 blouses that came from Walmart before my son entered college. He’s an md now so it’s been 10 years at least and they still look good. Some of their clothing does look good and lasts.

I have the time and tru denim jacket in the denim and white color. It’s stretchy, soft and not your typical stiff denim feel. I could not say enough positive about it. 10+
