Target has discontinued the gift card trade-in program, however here are more ways you can save at Target…

You can actually take gift cards from leading consumer brands into any participating Target and exchange them for Target gift cards! So awesome!

~~Simply bring any unwanted gift card with a remaining balance to a participating Target store, and exchange it for a Target gift card that can be used in-store or for online purchases at Target.com.~~

Please note that each participating merchant charges a different percentage to complete the exchange, so you will only get a percentage of the remaining value of your gift card transferred to a Target gift card. But if you’re a frequent Target shopper, this is a great way to turn those unwanted gift cards into spending money that you know you’ll use!

For further questions, there is a dedicated customer service line, which you can reach at 1-877-277-2707. You can not obtain the trade-in value of your unwanted gift cards over the phone, though. For that, you’ll need to visit a Target Tech kiosk, where the value of your gift card will be assessed.

Did you know that the Target trade-in program also allows you to trade in your used electronics? Unlike the gift card exchange, this trade-in process can be completed online. Simply request a quote for your device and ship it to Target using the prepaid shipping label generated at the end of the process.
