Don’t need all the items on your list?
Target’s List Assist makes it easy to delete, replace, or increase the quantity of any item. You can even add optional items like paper towels, disinfecting wipes, or anything else that teachers may have requested.
Although many supply lists are already posted on Target’s School List Assist, more will become available as the start of the new school year approaches. If your child’s classroom isn’t listed yet, you can enter your email address and Target will notify you when it’s posted.
If your child’s list is available and you like the idea of skipping the store, then take this opportunity to beat the rush and snag everything they need for school without leaving home! Or, if you want to have your school supplies in hand as soon as today, you can get them in a matter of hours when you choose Target’s same-day delivery option. 🙌
I used this last year and it was super easy. I did go thru what was in the cart and compared it to what was on my list and there were a few things I had to change.
That’s great to hear! Thank you, Ally!
This is such a cool tool! I wish they suggested items in case your school isn’t listed. I tried ten schools in the area and none were on there. Anyone else have luck?
I used it last year and again this year. I do adjust it a bit since it pulls some higher price items vs. sale priced items. Overall it makes it fast and easy to complete the list, have it shipped, and then keep it all together in the box until school starts.
Wahoo! Thank you for your helpful comment, Jessica!
My kids always loved going to pick out their school supplies! Especially my girls! But this is a great option for busy parents!
Second year in a row of doing this and highly recommend. My kids schools has very specific color requirements for folders and notebooks. I was done in less than 5 minutes! However, I am letting my kids pick out the Kleenexes, ziplock bags, and pencil holders in person, lol!
Our district refuses to participate. I wish they did because this tool is the coolest!
Every time I hit “find my list” it takes me out of the app and then back into the app to the original page. Is anyone going in circles like that?
SO sorry for the issues. I do find it to work well for me in desktop if you wanted to try in desktop view instead. Hoping that might do the trick! 🤞💖
In case this is helpful for anyone…our elementary school wanted to participate but we couldn’t find any info about how to actually upload the lists. After chatting online with a target representative for a while, we figured out that a pdf of the supply list needs to be uploaded to teacherlists.com first. Then that site will digitize the lists and they’re automatically uploaded to Target’s site. As a parent I was able to easily do this (at the request of the principal), so you don’t have to necessarily be employed by the school or anything.
Oh wow! Good to know! Thanks so much for taking the time to share that with us! 🤗
