I just wanted to remind you all that this is the last week to participate in Grab the Gold at Rite Aid. Spend $100 on select P&G items and get a $35 Visa Rewards Card; spend $50 and get a $15 card; spend $25 and get a $5 card!

If you haven’t purchased any participating items yet, but still want to, check out this awesome scenario below… perfect for any of you wanting to stock up on diapers!

Rite Aid Grab the Gold Deal Scenario:

Transaction #1
Buy 3 Pampers for $8.99 each
Total = $26.97
Use the $5 off $25 coupon from here or here (register to access the coupon) or the $5 off $20 from here
Plus, use 3 $1.50/1 coupons from the 2/7 PG
Pay $17.47
Get back a $2 Single Check Rebate #42 (for purchasing one package of Pampers)
Final cost $15.47

Transaction #2, #3 and #4:
Buy 3 Pampers for $8.99 each
Total = $26.97
Use the $5 off $25 coupon from here or here (register to access the coupon) or the $5 off $20 from here
Plus, use 3 $1.50/1 coupons from the 2/7 PG
Pay $17.47

Alright, so your total spent from all the above (remember you’re doing the second transaction three times) is $67.88. However, your total amount before coupon to qualify for the rebate is $107.88, so after submitting your receipts, you’ll qualify for a $35 Visa gift card. Final cost, after the gift card, ONLY $32.88 for all 12 packages — just $2.74 per package!

(Thanks so much for the great deal scenario, TheThriftyCouple!)

I know this totally off the topic, but I need some help. I am needing a new digital camera. Does anyone have any suggestions? I need a decent zoom and one that takes good pictures in motion for my 5y.o who is starting t-ball. I didn’t know where to post this but I appreciate any suggestions.

How is this deal possible? Do you really get 12 pampers coupons? I mean, I can’t go out and buy that many papers to get that many coupons to be able to do this deal. And coupons expire, so even if you save them up for a while, I’ve never had 12 coupons for one product at a time! Is there another way to get so many diaper coupons? I’m just curious how you guys do that….

    • Erica

You can always buy coupons on ebay or through a coupon clipping service (like coupon clipping crew or one of the many others). I usually only pay a couple of dollars for a stack of the coupons. This would be the best way to get coupons for a deal like this.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’ve had around 50-60 of the same coupons at a time! It’s simple & if it’s going to be cheap or free, then I definately want to stock up on the item so I won’t have to buy it again at full price, for awhile at least.. then by the time I have to buy it again, there will most likely be a coupon out again so I can get almost the same exact deal! You can get multiple coupons from ebay or coupon clipping services, or just dig through your local newspaper recycle bins for extra inserts 🙂 Depends on how much fun you’d like to have, lol.

I just did a quick search on Ebay and there are even some $2.50 off 1 coupons for Pampers! I don’t have a baby, but that could make for some great deals! 10 Coupons

Save $2.50 off any 1 Pampers Diapers or Pants

      Expires 3/31/2010

      • Kristianne

You can also get $1.50 off pampers coupons from the back of certain cheerio boxes and they usually don’t expire for at least a year, sometimes longer.

    • Cassie

      Hi Megan,

We have actually done transactions like this before with this many coupons, we do subscribe to muliples, but not 12. You can easily find 12 asking your family, friends , neighbors for their coupon as well as mailers you may have gotten – 12 can come together pretty quickly!

      Thanks!

OT but I have to vent! I hate coupon nazis! Grrr they make me so mad. I went to Publix last night and they never give me any problems, well they did this time. The cashier was so rude and had such a bad attitude. She kept saying “oh no I don’t think so” when she saw that my total was going to be practically nothing. So she took all my coupons off and then only accepted some of them! I contacted Publix and am waiting to hear what they say. So annoyed!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Anon the same thing happened to me yesterday at Publix’s. I was so inspired by watching Collins video that I went out and bought 14 boxes of the Rolaids just for the overage and attempted to get the .99 halmark cards for free. I was so excited. However that quickly disappeared after the cashier took my coupons. She told me the .99 cards weren’t expressions so I told her to take them off. Then she examined my Rolaids coupons to the tee. They weren’t internet coupons… they actually had them at Walgreens. She then called the manager who said he could only accept 2 out of the 5 coupons I had. He told me I was cleaning out his shelves….duhhh… isn’t that the point of having a store for the merchandise to leave. I wouldn’t budge on the matter.. so in the end I ended up getting 14 rolaids and a publixs sub for .02 cents. What a great deal. Collin thank you so much for everything.

      • Cathy

I have also had problems with cashiers as well. I do not have Publix here but I am noticing some of the stores in Michigan (ie. Kroger, Meijer, ect.) are putting a limit on the number of identical coupons used that will double per transaction. Keep an eye out for that too because it’s a real shocker when you are expecting something to double and it doesn’t! :o(

  4. Cherith Kapenga

Anybody have any extra Pampers coupons that I could have? Pls email me on Wednesday asap at: cherith.kapenga@53.com Thanks in advance!!!

    Anon:
I had this problem with a cashier before too. I had her at checkout before and didn’t want to go through her line again, but it was early in the morning and the other cashier asked the mean one to check me out because she was waiting on money for her drawer. She was so rude, huffing at my coupons and mumbling under her breath. When I got home, I sent a letter to Publix mgr and to my suprise, he sent me an apology letter, $10 gift card, and a coupon for free Publix brand icecream. He stated it was their policy to accept all coupons as long as they weren’t fraudulent. It made me feel much better and he made it better too. He said if there was a problem ever again to speak with the manager on duty right then.

i wish we had a publix!! or even a rite aid!!! WAGS has good deals and so do CVS but nothing like what you guys get at R-A and Pub.

we have a store called H.E.B., i have gotten some good deals there and kroger of course but still nothing like what ya’ll get, im jealous – Happy Savings.

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If I thought of this correctly, I think you could do transaction 1 once and transaction 2 once and get $15 for the VISA deal. That makes 6 packages of diapers $2.99 each?? I might be able to find 6 coupons, but no way will I have 12!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I was thinking the same thing! Why would you have to do Trans #2 a bunch of times?

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I also just realized that I already did $50 toward the Go for the Gold. So if I just add on to that, I’ll get the $35 gift card (instead of the $15 I currently have coming for spending $50) making my 6 packs of diapers like $2.16 a pack! I don’t need diapers anymore, but I have a SIL having twins so these will be great!

  8. amanda

Rite aids in metro detroit michigan will let you use more than one 5/20 dollar purchse. so if you have 100 dollars of products before coupons you may use 5 coupons! That way you can do it all in one transaction and sometimes save a couple dollars more

  9. Karla

This is off the subject, but I have a voucher for $252.99 on a new crib valid at Babies-R-Us or Toys-R-Us. My baby bed was in the recall & I would rather purchase a twin bed instead of another convertible crib. If anyone is interested, email me at anncoulter3@yahoo.com.

I only have enough for 3 Pampers transactions but I just read in a coupon insert starting 2/12 olay will have a $15 mail in rebate when you “buy any 3 olay facial moisturizers, facial treatments, facial cleansers, hand & body lotions, body washes or 6+ bar soap packs”…combined w/the coupons this will make an awesome filler transaction!

  11. Brittany

Is anyone else having a hard time getting 4 coupons for 5/20 or 5/25? Does anyone have a suggestion?

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

do you know if this deal works on the easy ups too? thanks 🙂

  13. Sophie

does anyone know what sizes and how many diapers per size these packages are. Im trying to calculate the per diaper cost to see how great this deal really is.. Thanks..

  14. janet

this deal is still pretty good even without the pampers manufacturer coupons of $1.50. do the math…

  15. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The jumbo packs on sale contain 3/8 the number of diapers (in whatever size) of the boxes that are always $19.99. Buy 5 boxes in 5 transactions, get more diapers, avoid clearing the shelf and need only 5 $1.50 coupons while spending $100 and using 5 $5/$20 VV coupons. (You’ll need $0.01+ filler item each time.)

The small Cheerios boxes, often cheap or free, have $1.50 Pampers coupons that don’t expire till 2012.

    • Sophie

Twin mom.. Thanks.. I have twins too and always looking for the diaper deals.

    • momwhocares freesamples

That’s what I do with the huggies diapers. I buy the 19.99 box, use the $5/$20 Q and another Q – I love when they have the $2.00 off Q’s 🙂 – My hubby is actually going to rite aid now to get a box.

I have a $3.00 off huggies Q – but, it is only for pure and natural or little snugglers and they do not carry pure and natural or little snugglers in the box there.
The $3.00 off Q will make good at walgreens combined with a sale and RR deal.

huggies jumbo packs are $11.99 at my rite aid unless on sale for $8.99

  16. Nicole

Quick question, So do I need 12 ($1.50) coupons and 4 ($5) coupons? If so how do I get those, and how long is this deal going on? SORRY, very new to all of this.

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

i can’t seem to access the rite aid coupons (the first here and here) any zip code suggestions????

  18. dmedick

yes, If someone knows a zip code.. on red plum.. im unable to access the 5 off 25 coupon as well.. Thanks!

  19. dmedick

    Thanks so Much April!

  20. Pamela

not sure how this works since my paper says limit 1 rebate for the single check rebate….?
