Restaurant.com has a new 80% off promotional code:

Take 80% off of $25 Gift Certificates and pay ONLY $2!
Just use promo code FUN
thru 7/12!

For a total of just $2, you’ll end up getting a $25 gift certificate! I always stock up on certificates when they are 80% off. They don’t expire, so you’ll have as much time as you like to make use of them.

Or for an even better deal, you can purchase the Dinner of the Month Club. What’s that? It’s a 12 month package that comes with 12 $25 gift certificates and one FREE $50 gift certificate! The total for this package would be $120, but after you type in promo code FUN—your total will drop down to just $24! Wahoo! That means you’re snagging $350 worth of dining certificates for ONLY $24!

There aren’t any participating restaurants in my state!

I’m not a fan of this deal. I paid $4 for a $50 gift card and when I printed it out, there was a stipulation that the entire check had to be $100 before I could use it. Maybe that was written somewhere on the page I bought it from but it’s not cool. No way my husband and I are eating $100 worth of food. Waste of $4.

Ok, it does say that. Should have bought a smaller gift card.

We purchased these before and they have been good but also bad. We got Uno’s pizza ones but they would not accept them. They said restaurant.com sold a bunch that wasn’t suppose to be sold, so we had to exchange them. Which I forgot to do! Mine usually has an expiration in a year.

I thought these coupons expired a year from your purchase date?

They don’t have any restaurants in my area :-(, but I’m going to Chattanooga for a couple days, so bought a $25 one for one of our dinner’s there!!! Thanks for the link!!

So I have never gotten any restuarant cards from here before. Is it worth my money. Do all card have a limit of $100 you must spend to use the gift card? I am thinking about getting a card but Im not going to spend the money if I have to spend $100 for eating.

Under the prices of the certificates on the right side it lists the stipulations. If you are only eating out with just your spouse, the best kind to look for are the restaurants that don’t exclude liquor (if you so choose) in the price of the dinner and don’t exclude a day of the week when you’d be likely to use it and have lower amounts to start with like the $25 ones. Each restaurant does have a minimum you need to spend but they also have a link to the restaurant’s menu so of you’re unfamiliar with the restaurant, you can look it over to see what their prices are to help you determine which dollar amount to go for. I personally would only buy the $100 ones if I were planning on attending with a group of people. By the way, after you purchase them, you are then able to print them directly from your computer which is really nice if you intend to use them the same day. Instead of printing them right away, I print to Adobe Acrobat and save them as a .pdf on my computer to make it easier to print them in the future since most don’t expire for an entire year. I’ve used certficates now twice (at different restaurants) and have had good experiences both times we used them. As long as you read through the stipulations before you purchase them, you shouldn’t have any problems.

I but the restaurant.com gift cards…NOT the restaurant-specific ones. They NEVER expire and then we just cash them in for the restaurant-specific ones before we go out to dinner. Last time I ordered 8 of them and I didn’t have to decide which restaurants i wanted before I ordered. Very cool!

I was wondering if these gift cards have an expiration date. I thought about giving these along with christmas presents and get them while they are cheap . does anyone know?
