Walgreens: Scunci Value Packs ONLY $0.25!

As you may have noticed, the Walgreens weekly ad has an in ad coupon valid for $1.99 Scunci Hair Accessories value packs. Well, these value packs are also ringing up buy one get one free which really makes for a sweet deal…
Buy 2 packs of Scunci Hair Accessories Value packs $3.49 each
Use the in ad coupon which will deduct a total of $3
Plus, the buy one get one free sale will deduct an additional $3.49
Final cost ONLY $0.49 for both– just $0.25 per value pack!
Please note: I have not tested this myself, so I’m not sure if all Scunci value packs are ringing up buy one get one free or just a few selected varieties.

Here is how my deal worked.

This is also the scenerio I found on another blog. I think the in store price was $2.99 which is where the difference is.

I went to Walgreens yesterday and the cashier would not deduct the coupon ad because it is already a BOGO item he said.. Sooooo frustrated.

If you check Walgreen’s website, you’ll see those $2.99 sales Deb talks about, AND they tell you which items are marked as Buy 1 Get 1 Free.

I can confirm this deal. I did it yesterday at Walgreens. It is the double packs of them only, but my store had a lot. I bought 6 packs at regular price 2.99 each (T = 17.94). I handed over the in ad coupon which took off $6.00 (making each pack the $1.99 advertised coupon price). Then after it did that the computer calculated the B1G1 free and took off $8.97 (three packs at the $2.99 price). Leaving me with a total due of $2.97 for 6 packs or 49 cents each. All Scunci products reg. priced 2.99 to 4.49 are on sale this month for B1G1 free, and then this in ad makes these particular double packs a good price.

it worked for me too, but my store doesnt have the double packs, so i just got single packs for 18 bands for 50cents each. still a good deal!

I did this yesterday. The value packs were on an end cap rather than with the regular hair stuff. They were $2.99 and $2.00 was deducted from the in ad, as well as the BOGO. So, $.99 for two double packs.

My store had it for $2.99, buy 2 for 5.98 total – B1G1 =2.99 -$1 in store coupon = 1.99/2 that’s 0.99 each. I don’t get how everyone else is coming up with $.25 each, unless there is a coupon somewhere. Please share where we can find it. Thanks.

My store coupon is $1.99, not just $1.00. I was able to get both packs for $.99 total just now.

It should deduct $2 with in store coupon ($1 on each, and you bought 2), I think that’s where your discretion lies…

The Scunci B1G1 is a monthly deal. The B1G1 is for any Scuncis. The in-ad coupon, however, is only for the B1G1 value packs and not the single packs. So this will only work on the value pack hair ties and hair comb thingies.

I did this today and it also works on the value pack of hair clips, not just hair ties and hair comb-things. I think it just has to be the value packs that say buy one get one on the package itself and it should work.

It worked for me on Sunday. I was able to purchase 4 value pack Scuncis for only $2.00. The price in my area is 2.99 so it worked like this:

If anyone wants the $1 off cheerios check Target they have one on box. I got one with a coupon from cheerios after signing up at their site + the peelie off the cheerios box at target, price came to 49 cents

I went to Wags and the deal didn’t work the same for me. The computer only took off the BOGO and another $1 so I paid $1.99 for both packs. I did find some free Salonpas Heat pads, the single packs are on sale for $1 and there is a coupon on coupons.com for $1/1, also the Right Guard Total Defense 5 is BOGO, so I paid $1.49 for 2 full size antip/deos. I only wished the Scunci rang up cheaper, we use these all the time during the summer!

You get the “special BOGO” packs that came in a display and they ring BOGO via the monthly mega-saver so you actually get 4 of the 18 piece hair ties for $0.99 (or $0.84 if you work there).

soooo happy I actually got a good walgreens sale. My store is usually out of the stuff I use when there are sales like this. Between my daughter and I we go through hair ties and she goes through barrettes like they are disposable. I bought 6
Mine were about .83cents each bc I bought mostly 3.99 packs. I think I’m going to have to go back for some of the b1g1 packs. With all the girls in our extended family, can’t go wrong for stocking stuffers.
btw I am in way down so-cal (san Diego) and this worked just fine. I know someone in Anaheim had trouble.

My packs the 2pack value pack just like the one on the coupon is ringing up 2.99 and so that is what came off and my total with tax for 4 double packs were 2.11 with tax 1.98 w/0 tax 50 cents a pack still not bad. One of the walgreens had the coupon not working she said sometimes they can make the coupon not work by entering the wrong numbers but whet down the street and it worked for the 2.11.
