I was already planning on doing the Olay deal today. And I have a $3 off Olay moisturizer coupon, so mine will be a $4.02 moneymaker!

  2. Charlotte

Thanks for the deals, Collin. I’d like to point out though, that my CVS accepts expired CVS coupons. So, thankfully, I don’t have to rush out the door for these deals. 😀

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

When I click on the CVS tylenol coupon it takes me to coupons.com but I’m not understanding where to print it from..what am I missing?

    • Feona

It takes you to coupons.com so you can print the store coupon for the Tylenol Precise. Hope this helps!

  4. Diane

I found a tearpad for the tylenol precise in my store….$2.00 off any tylenol precise.

    • deb

I did too-a few weeks ago. Glad I saved a bunch.
I already did my deals for this week, so will hold the CVS Q’s.
If you haven’t already gotten some of the dble pk Cherrios and Honey-Nut Cherrios, this would be a great time! Get $4. ECB when you work them into your deal.

  5. Robin

    These are great deals! Thanks!!!

  6. Diane

    I did a similar deal…spent $2.19 OOP and got $20 ECB back!

    • Nicole

If you don’t mind, what was your deal?

  7. Melissa

I cant find the $2/1 CVS Tylenol Precise coupon….. Do I need to put in a zip code?

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I am not seeing the tylenol precise on coupons.com either

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yeah, I was confused at first…bc that link sent me to Coupons.com, but it is a CVS coupon if you look at it! 🙂

  10. DP

Air wick air freshener is 4/$10 with $5 ECB w/y/b 4 – Use 2 BOGO mc=4 for free!

  11. Rae

Was not allowed to use 4 Qs on 4 air wicks – cashier said that 2 BOGOs covered the 4 items, so I kept the 2 $1/1 Qs. anyone else have that problem?

    • DP

Yes, I have had that problem @ Target, and when I called coorparate, they said she was correct and CVS who verbally told me they wouldn’t accept 2 coupons on a BOGO – Does any one know if CVS has an official policy on this?

The only one who takes 2 coupons that I know of, is Publix- Last week, I had a customer call out throughout the store and point at me (in a good way 🙂 calling me a “Rockstar” because I say he was purchasing soy sauce and gave him my BOGO and $1 coupon. The cashier laughed one I walked by, and he very loudly said “There she is, there is the Rockstar” !

I prayed the cashier wouldn’t give him a problem afer all that, and he didn’t 🙂

    • Robin

I would give the $1 Qs first.

    • Jo Ann

I also had this problem on Sunday (with the BOGO coupons and $1/1 coupons) but when I told the cashier my usual CVS (I wasn’t at my usual CVS) does take both coupons she manually entered the $1 off coupons. Sometimes it pays to question these things.

    • Ann

Yes, the B1G1 airwick coupon attaches to 2 items not just one. The manager told me she would allow it this time but this is clearly the case.
I was still able to use the 2 b1g1s and the 2 $1 off but you will definitely have problems with the register not accepting all 4 coupons together..

  12. tiffany

I planned on doing the Olay deal. Hopefully they still have the items needed. Thanks for these.

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

At my cvs they had airwick imotion on clearance for 2.35. I was able to use the $4/1 coupon from the paper a couple weeks ago. They let you have overage!

    • DP

      Some do, my store doesn’t.

  14. Leah

I didn’t have the airwick coupons, so I did
    2 candy bars $1
    Rimmel mascara clearanced for $2.07
    Branchs autumn mix .99
    Nivea for Men 4.99
    Tylenol Precise 5.99
    High Octane 1.99
    Skintimate 3.99

And I used 4/20, -4 (two tylenol coupons), and -1 of Nivea

Paid 13.02, got 13 ECBS back. I did not have any to start with, this was my first ever CVS trip

    • DP

Good job!!! Wait, you will love it!!

Tip – Get a green bag tag if you don’t have one – after 4 trips you get a $1 ECB!

      • Jennifer

Great job Leah! Congrats on such a successful first trip to CVS! Now the game is to keep those ECBs going so that you are not in a situation where you have to pay money out of pocket next week!

  15. Christina

    Here’s my deal (I’m a PA girl):

    (4) Airwicks= $10
    (1) Alive Vitamins= $9.99

Total: $19.99 (tax will take me over $20)
    Less: (1) $4/20 CVS Q, (2) BOGO Airwicks, (2) $1/1 Airwicks, (1) $1/1 Alive Vitamins Q

Pay $9.19 OOP (including my 6% tax)

Get: $5 ECB- AirWick, $9.99 Alive Vitamins

    $5.80 net MM

    • Rose

I would toss in a small filler, sometimes the coupon will not work if your SubTotal is less than purchase requirement (tax does not count). I know my store will not take the coupon if its less than the amount needed.

  16. lisa

were the olay coupons regional? dIdn’t see them in my inserts.

    • Rose

yep, regional. I didn’t get them either, which is a bummer. That would have been a great deal to take advantage of.

      • Nicole

yeah, i guess they were regional, i didn’t get them either. bummer

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You are not allowed to use the 1 off coupon with the bogo because it is coded a 14 so you cannot use another coupon on the one your are paying for. If it was coded an 01 then you would be able too. Using the 1 off coupon, is considered fraud on the coded 14 one…so i would not suggest it., and THATS WHY it beeps…

    • Rose

I don’t belive that. Nowhere does it say on the BOGO coupon that I can’t save an additional $1 on the one I’m BUYING. I believe a majority of BOGOs are coded 14 anyway.
It beeps b/c it needs the price needs to be entered. I have always given the $off 1 coupon FIRST, then the BOGO. I have not had ANY problems using coupons in that way ever.

      • DP

        Thanks Rose, good tip!

The problem is some stores, do not have a POLICY! I would love to follow one, not a cashier/manager’s INTERPERTATION of a policy!

      • Nicole

I’ve never had a problem with the BOGO Q’s and the $off Q’s being used together.

        • Erin

Me, either. I do the exact opposite of what others do–I give them the $X Q first, then the bogo, since the price needs to be entered for the bogo anyway. They’ve already scanned the $X Q, and I haven’t had anyone give me trouble with the bogo.

    • Tawanda

Rose,I have acutally heard the same about the BOGO coupons coded that way. I’m going to do a search and see if I can find something to confirm if it’s true or not. 🙂

  20. megan

    seriously?! just disgusting.

  21. Nicole

Okay, I just got back from CVS and did pretty good! But while I was browsing the clearence they had the frebrezze illuminary starter kits for $4.99 which was great b/c I have a $4 Q! Well the cashier wouldn’t take it b/c it was marked clearence-is that right?? I was so sad b/c I had 2 and also 2 Nivea lip balms for $.75 each trying to use the $2/2-of course that didn’t work either 🙁 Someone please tell me if this is right?

    • Jennifer S.

The febreeze should have gone through with no problem. The nivea would have beeped, but my CVS always adjusts the coupon down to make the item free with no overage. Did the cashier even attempt to scan the coupons? ” we need a manager to the front please!!”

    • cara

Just had a problem with CVS a few weeks ago, trying to buy a clearanced item with a coupon and was told I couldn’t. I told the cashier I had never had a problem before using a coupon on something that is on clearance and asked her, what was the difference if it’s on a “clearance rack with a green sticker” vs. a 75% off rack, which is okay to use a coupon?….she then seemed puzzled. I called corporate and I was right, you can use any coupon, anywhere in the store that is within the coupon limits, etc. no matter what shelf it sits on, or no matter what price it is to start with, CVS will be reimbursed. Go during corporate hours, prior to 6 pm and call CVS corporate while you’re there if you have any troubles. Regardless, this seems to be an issue at certain CVS’s that needs to be addressed. I would call corporate regardless and let them file an “inquiry” for the store (which is not a complaint and no one gets in trouble) and then the store can go over coupon acceptance policies with their cashiers so you won’t have any issues next time. Good luck and I hope your items are still there!

      • cara

whoops, this posted to the wrong thread! This note was to Nicole!!

      • cormackmn

Thanks for that. I had the exact same problem the other day at 1 of my CVS. The manager was the one that said I couldn’t use the coupons, which expired that same day. I did argue I little bit and then just returned everything. I emailed corporate, but they just told me to call, which I seldom have time to do with little ones running around.

    • xraychik512

Yeah he scanned the coupons and they beeped, then he jabbered on about how they were “taxable items” that it wouldn’t work. I said but it shouldn’t matter what price is on them, the coupon should work. He told me the Q was for the original price only-not clearance! There was a line behind me so I gave up and had him take off those 2 frebreze items! THEN he has the nerve to tell me how much he saved last night with his ECBs-he’s even a couponer and doesn’t know his stuff!! Sooo frustrating!! I’m sure if I go back tomorrow they will be gone….but maybe worth a try?

      • cara

Yeah, the cashier I had said, “Well see, (and points to the clearanced price,) it’s already marked down, so that’s why you can’t use a coupon”….what?! So if an item is on sale then you probably can’t use a coupon too, then right?! lol. The cashier even had to nerve to ask me what other cashiers had allowed coupons on clearanced items, as if she was going to get them in trouble or something. Seriously, it’s so frustrating to get people who don’t know or understand their own coupon policy. Maybe this was an issue in the past with CVS with an old policy. It would be nice if they joined Walgreens in making an online coupon policy. At least it would make some of us happy!

      • Nicole

Ok well xraychik and Nicole are the same person, I’m not sure why it didn’t use Nicole for the one above?

    • Ashlee

My CVS is VERY coupon friendly, but they have what is consider “last chance clearance”. If the price is written on the package in black marker and there is a line through the bar code you can not use a coupon for that Item. The manger at my store told me the item is clearanced at 75%-90% of the original price and if it does not sell it gets sent back to the manufacture. You can still you extra bucks just not manufacture Q.

      • Shelly T.

I just bought two Loreal Preference hair colors that were marked $1.00 with black marker and they let me use a $2.00 coupon, so I got both for free. It must depend on the store/manger.

  22. maletha

there is also a 20% off coupon coming via email if you are signed up.

  23. Nicole

    Well, I posted this once but I don’t see it-here goes again…
Okay, I just got back from CVS and did pretty good! But while I was browsing the clearence they had the frebrezze illuminary starter kits for $4.99 which was great b/c I have a $4 Q! • xraychik512

okay oops. I see it now 🙂

  24. Kimberly

My nivea body wash did not print the ECBs, and I didn’t notice until after I left the store. Bummer.

  25. Crissy

Will CVS take expired ECBs? I just realized I had some that expired over labor day weekend. 🙁

    • Shelly T.

The CVS that I go to does. It never hurts to ask. 🙂

    • Charlotte

Mine does too. It also takes expired CVS coupons within “a reasonable amount of time”. I think they consider 3 months reasonable.

  26. Shelly

I bought the mens Nivea today and didn’t get the Extra Bucks. I am going to have to go back and talk to them tomorrow.

  27. Paola516

Ok so I went to CVS to do this deal. I tried to use both the Tylenol manufacturer’s coupon & the CVS coupon and since the second coupon would not scan the cashier called the manager over who informed me that the two cupons were the same and I could not use them. He was very nasty about the whole thing and would not let me explain that although both looked the same one said Retailer’s coupon the other said manufacturer’s. What did I do wrong. i feel like emailing corporate about this.

    • Deanna

You didn’t do anything wrong; you should have been able to use both. If your store manager doesn’t understand the policy, you might want to email corporate to ask them about their policy regarding using a store’s Q stacked with a Manufacturer’s Q, then print the response and bring it with you on your next trip. See also Collin’s CVS Store Guide here (https://hip2save.com/store-guides/cvs).

  28. Deanna

FYI – When I went to use my $4/$20 q tonight, the cashier started writing numbers on the coupons before putting them in the drawer. When I asked what was going on (politely 🙂 ), she told me that some stores were pushing through ANY Q for any item. To combat the problem, they now have to write down the transaction number and their initials on each individual coupon so that their manager can spot check by randomly pulling Qs, retrieving the transaction from the system, and making sure the item the Q is for was actually an item purchased.

I don’t know if this is something going on just in my area or not (I live in the New Orleans area), but I wanted everyone to know. The cashier said it’s not so bad during slow times, but during peak hours it can really hold up the line. So, if you notice this happening, and have lots of Qs or may be doing multiple transactions, have a little patience with your cashier, and maybe let the person behind you go between transactions. I like my CVS; the cashiers are all very nice, and she sounded apologetic and upset that this was happening.

  29. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

errr! I have been trying to do the airwick deal! I have done all the other deals but both my stores are out. I got a raincheck on 4 BUT the bogo coupons expire on the 19th..tomorrow! I really hope they have them tomorrow! 🙁 Last time I went they had 3 but they never have 4!! Sucks cuz this will be a $2MM

  30. Charlene

I just wanted to post a warning about this product! I did the deal and got it for free and actually used it. I used it for about 3 days and on the 3rd or fourth day my under eye area started itching! Then it started to swell slightly and look irritated. I immediately stopped using it. I then noticed it looked like I had MORE wrinkles! I was like, ok these better go away fast or I’ll be calling Olay. I called anyway to let them know. Thank God after about 2-3 days my eyes looked normal again. I took back the eye roller to CVS and got a full refund. 🙂
