worst cat litter ever. Tried it before only because I had a coupon, wouldn’t use it again even for free.

    • RebeccaFer says:

I agree. I have three bags of this because it was close to free after coupon but it’s totally awful! I do love Feline Pine though and just noticed the $1.50 q link for that on the side. I prefer the pellets and love how easily they clean up! :D

      • Olga says:

I don’t imagine how it can be the WORST cat litter!!! I don’t even imagine how it can be OK!!! It’s absolutely THE BEST!!!! I used to buy Arm and Hammer. Now THAT is what I call OK. It was clamping fine but I couldn’t refill the litter box inside the house because pouring the litter would raise a cloud of dust! I even felt like I had to wear a mask just to scoop up some presents from my kitty (you know what I mean ;) ) None of that with The World’s Best!!! It still clamps great and NO DUST at all!!! Keeps the stink away from your nostrils too. I’m switching to it as soon as I’ve used up all my Arm and Hammer resources. :)

        • Sweet says:

I agree with Olga! It is the best cat litter that I have ever used!!! It clumps great and keeps odor away! I love World’s Best Cat litter!

  • Paige says:

I tried this litter and I was not really impressed either. I threw away the bag already, so now I can’t do the rebate. Darn.

    • fran says:

Paige, it wouldn’t matter anyway, the offer starts today, so you would have to purchase it from today to 3/27.

To those of you who don’t like this product, why don’t you call the number on the bag, and tell them you didn’t like it. You might be surprised by what they do for you…just a thought!

    • Paige says:

I just emptied the box with this litter and it doesn’t seem to clump the urine at all! I may have to call the manufacturer. It is only corn after all!

    • fairy dust says:

Actually this rebate has been around for awhile and whenever you click to the rebate form, give them some info and print it out, it puts that day’s date as the first date you can get the rebate – I guess so people aren’t digging up previously purchased bags to send in a rebate for. I have done this rebate and I did get the check back just a few weeks later. In spite of “free” I agree with those who don’t really like it – it’s okay, it works fine, but it’s not the best. The kittehs and I prefer A&H Essentials (I think that’s what it’s called, in the plastic bag) that’s less like clay and more like pine chips. But free is good :)

  • Tara says:

I have been mixing it in with my regular costco cat litter and that works pretty good. It’s okay, but would be great to donate to a shelter! Collin, at my Target all the bags have $3 peelies on the front of them, too!

  • Jamie says:

I’ve done this rebate once before. Been using World’s Best for about 8 months now and LOVE it. I don’t know what Megan and Paige are doing wrong but this stuff is great.
I’ve moved since I did the rebate before, so hopefully this will work for me again! :D

  • Lisa says:

I agree with Megan and Paige, worst cat litter ever!

  • Aubrie W. says:

I also like this cat litter. If you’re looking for an environmentally friendly alternative to the Tidy Cats of the world, this is an excellent choice.

  • Julie says:

I love it when the actually company has to name themselves “worlds best” because no one else would ever do that. I used it before and wasn’t super impressed, but with a $3.00 peelie on the bag and full rebate, I will use it and so will my little Kit Kat.

  • wendyrose04 says:

This is my FAVORITE cat litter EVER and I have tried a ton of different cat litter brands/types!

It clumps really well and it’s FLUSHABLE, plus it keeps the smell down. We already got this rebate and it took a few months for it to come. Also, not sure if this will apply to everyone, but our Target has this on sale for $7.50 with a $3OFF coupon attached. That’s a great price for litter.

  • DAwn says:

I love this cat litter, no dust, clumps and NO ODOR!!! Love it. If anyone has coupons they want to get ride of just let me know I love it.

  • Olga says:

Question. I already did the same kind of rebate last year. I don’t remember the exact dates of purchase etc. but they were different from what the current form says. Does it mean that I can still get another rebate or 1 per household means 1 per lifetime too? :)

    • wendyrose04 says:

      I’m curious, too!

    • Sweet says:

I am wondering the same thing!

    • Glenn says:

Note that this is not a new offer that starts today. When you fill in the information for the form, it automatically prints today’s date as the start date. You can go the the site tomorrow and print out another form and it will say that the deal starts tomorrow, but that doesn’t mean that it’s a new deal. I would be very leery of doing this deal again if I had already received a rebate last year. This litter is expensive and not worth the risk of having the rebate rejected because of one per household. I would change my mind if someone says they receive the rebate from this deal in addition to last year’s rebate.

  • Debbie says:

I did this rebate last year. I loved the litter. Do you think they will honor it again since it is a new offer?

    • CJ says:

I emailed the company about this. They said it’s a continuous offer that cycles every 90 days and puts new expiration dates on the form. You can only do it once per household per lifetime. So if you’ve done it before you cant do it again.

I dont care for clumping litter and didnt like the way this litter became like paste at the bottom of the box when it got wet. Also my kitty was a little confused at first and actually starting eating the litter because it’s made from corn. He isnt the brighest but I love him :)

  • Megan N says:

Jaime, not doing anything wrong, pouring litter into a box isn’t really a skill now is it? Just voicing my opinion. Kudos to those who like this product as this should be a great deal for you but I did not care for it. Did nothing to control the odor, I only have 2 cats and clean their box every other day, so it’s not like it sat for weeks and then I complained it smelled. I will not waste my time calling the company, I will continue to vote with my dollars and coupons for products I do like. Tidy cats can be my splurge! Looks like reviews are mixed so if anything maybe try it before you buy it as a stockpile item.

  • Diane says:

We’ve tried many brands of cat liter and we think Fresh Step Crystals is the best litter for our needs. The most important thing for us was that it really would not smell, since we don’t have any good place for a cat pan. This litter works when you follow the instructions, which is that it has to be two inches deep, and you scoop solids and mix it up twice a day. It does last as long as they say and it is actually more economical than other brands. Unfortunately, it does track, but it really does not smell as long as you follow the directions. We use the aluminum steam trays for the cat pan since they recycle aluminum pans at our recycling. We’ve never found a plastic pan that didn’t hold the odor and had to be replaced. – just my two cents – I’ll get this offer again and donate it.

  • Meredith says:

We tried this litter as a result of the last rebate. We have been so happy with it and probably will never go back to our old brand. I clean the litter box twice a day and I love that this product is flushable! Our cat also doesn’t track this litter out of the box like he did with the other brands we tried.

  • Laura K says:

Could we possibly use the Petsmart $5 coupon? I don’t have pets, but I would love to be able to donate this…and get a rebate in the process… :) I will probably try it and let you know…but I don’t see why not (unless they don’t carry it, I don’t know…)

  • rebate queen says:

I got a $3 coupon after I filled out the info at this link about a month ago. I can’t tell if it’s still available. It will be a bricks coupon that you can print twice and get one mailed to you. So a $3 moneymaker!!

  • rebate queen says:

  • Lauren says:

I have been using this litter for about a year. I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I am really happy with it. I use a bag every two weeks for one indoor cat. I think it really helps with the smell. I found $3/1 peelies at Target.

  • Jamie S says:

Please do this deal even if you do not have cats. This is a GREAT donation for your local shelters because they are always asking for items such as cat litter.

  • Sue says:

This is the best cat litter I have ever had. Ever. No odor, the cats love it, it doesn’t track around the house and it clumps great. I clean my guys’ two boxes every morning and evening and no dust at all, the litter still smells pretty ok after a week.

One satisfied customer here! Thank you, World’s Best Cat Litter because you ARE!

  • Zack says:

Agreed, this is the World’s Worst Cat litter. I get Litter Purrfect in 30 pound containers from my local Costco for only $7! It works and smells just as good as Tidy Cats but it’s half the price! I agree with Collin though, get it and donate it, the shelters could use all the help they can get. The less they have to spend on litter, the more kittens they can afford to take care of. :)

  • Susan K. says:

I thought this was a fantastic offer too, and printed the coupon off, then mentioned to fellow rescue group members — those responsible for donations of food & litter. They advised against — said lots of dust and no odor control. So I threw away the rebate form. Now that I see the positive comments, I wish I had tried it for my own cat. The idea of being flushable is really great.

  • Becky says:

I can’t say it is the worst ever, but my cat hated it. He didn’t want to use the box. So I donated the rest of mine since I bought tons of it being almost free. Everyone should at least give it a try.

  • Karen says:

I haven’t tried this brand yet, but I do love Feline Pine. Easiest and lightest clean-up & environmentally friendly! Did someone say they saw a new 1.50 link q for the Feline Pine?

    • RebeccaFer says:

I was the one who said they love Feline Pine too. I used to buy the box but recently switched to the pellets and L O V E them! I can’t get over how there is absolutely no sticking to the bottom of the litter box! I have two cats and they adjusted fairly quickly to the pellets. Try them if you haven’t yet. :D I

Regarding the link, I thought (hoped) it was a new one but it was just a link on the side (which I needed to refresh about 10 times before it came up) and when I clicked, it took me to the Bricks q that I printed already. :( On a side note though, I do go to the local library and print extras when I get a chance. They always go B1G1 at my local store and when they do, I can use the coupons at Super Double events to get it free! Needless to say that I stock up then! :D

  • dana behne says:

They have a new rebate every three months and you can do one each time. I’m already sent in three and received them all. And they will pay you the before coupon price, as long as you circle it on the receipt. Does anyone happen to have a copy of the form form December? I lost mine, but have one receipt to use.

  • Dawn says:

I’m wondering if its the same rebate? I printed this early last month, but I haven’t sent mine in yet. Wonder if I can go print another and submit another one? I had *thought* I had seen on their FB page that it was limit one per household per year, but I could be wrong. They seem to respond to any Q’s on their FB site if anyone wants to pop over and ask them!

Its okay stuff, I’m all for non toxic stuff for my pets. Seems to clump just as fine as the other stuff and I have ZERO sense of smell, so I dunno if it works better then the other stuff does or not? My *only* issue with it is that both my House Bun and my Chihuahua will NOT stay out of it, they keep eating it! :O I guess its safe to eat, but eeeeewwww.

    • RebeccaFer says:

      That is hilarious! Pets! :D

Try Feline Pine if you’d like an alternative environmental friendly and healthier litter. I recommend the pellet version! :D

  • says:

I LOVE, love, love this litter. I just wrote up a little blurb on my blog about all the reasons why I’m thrilled with WBCL. I would never go back to “commercial” cat litter again. Don’t believe the nay sayers, give the litter a try and judge for yourself. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

  • Leslie says:

I liked the litter, but my cat didn’t… bummer dude. I have to mix it with other brands now… :(

  • Trisha says:

Everclean is the BEST cat litter. Did not like this at all (my sister gave it to me cause she hated it as well).

  • Amy Fraysur says:

I didn’t like this litter at all! It didn’t clump well, crumbled easily and just generally made a mess. My sister had the same experience. We will never use this litter again.

  • Suzanne says:

Currently you can buy the cat litter at Target for $7.49.and there is a $3 peelie on the bag.Makes for a sweet deal.

  • kathy says:

Worst cat litter ever. My cat refuses to use this so I guess I will take it to the animal shelter and see if they have any luck with it.

  • leanna sutton says:

So my cat has strong urine and poo and I was trying to fine liter that works from him and this is the best for me by far. Now the instructions say to scoop out each day and normally that is annoying with regular litter but the bag also said I can flush it. I feel more comfortable flushing it b/c it is made with corn rather then carbon like other kitty litter. Also my cat urinated in it fine but was hesitate on pooing in it but he finally did and now he is fine with it and to boot no lingering smells around my apartment. yeah the initial smell but that’s it. I LOVE THIS STUFF.

  • Lori says:

Just goes to show you how people can have such differing opinions. Warning: About Feline Pine! The only reason I bought more because it was $.17 a box with Super Double Q and because I am cheap now I have to deal with those little pine particles and lots of dust ALL over the entire house. I try to mix it in with regular litter so it is not so messy, but it still is. Even worse it is so light it does not hold down the litter box and my cats have dumped the entire litter box on its side twice. Just wanted to let people know so they can be aware.

  • Jenny says:

We like this litter better than the others, especially Tidy Cats. Tidy Cats makes our house smell horrible! I clean the boxes every day and have found that WBCL clumps very well and doesn’t stick to the side.bottom of the box like other litters. However, the smells from your cat really depend on their diet. So, I can see why some would like it and not others.
