As most of you know, Walgreens released a corporate coupon policy a couple months ago… finally! You can view the policy here. Be sure to print a copy and bring it with you when you shop in case any issues should arise. You can also now print Walgreens Instant Value Coupons online here. *NOTE: If you can find the monthly coupon booklet in-store, save your printer ink. (Thanks, Rose Knows Coupons!)

Foodlion has a Coors Light cardboard stand in the beer section that has $3 off and purchase of 2 Digornio 12″ pizzas.

  2. Melissa

I just cut out a coupon for Emerald nuts that is $1 off one, so you should be able to use 2 of these for the Emerald nut deal, making them $2 each. It was in today’s RP with the Digiorno on front.

    • melissa

double ck the fine print, mine says Limit ONE per Customer.

  3. Lynna

I tried to use 2 $1/1 Emeral nut coupons and they wouldn’t let me…

Has anyone tried the Sinex deal? My store doesn’t have it marked down…

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

No Arnica Gel at my walgreens!!
Anyone else with the same issue?
    What can be done?

    • Lynna

They had tons at my both of my Walgreens… I hate that… they put a product in their ad and don’t stock up for it. Silly…

    • Melissa

I couldn’t find it at mine, but when I asked they had a hanging display at the end of the aisle that had plenty in it. I never would have found it had I not asked.

  5. Beth

Has anyone bought the blood glucose monitor yet and looked at the rebate? There is a fine print in the paper about the rebate is only available to uninsured patients?

    • Lauren

I think it means if you pay the cash price, meaning you didn’t have a prescription and Walgreens didn’t bill your insurance.

  6. Donna Mc.

I was just going to post about that too. I am glad I checked the fine print. It was on the back oft he box and probably would have missed that, but had the time today to give it a good looking over.

    • Marcia

I’m quite sure that is meaning, if your insurance paid for the monitor then YOU won t be getting the rebate. but if you buy it out of your pocket i don’t think there’s any issue. If that makes sense… hth

  7. Jennifer

Did anyone buy the Blinks and have it ring up at $9.99? I got the $8 RR but didn’t realize it rang up at a higher price until I got home. I bought it at a Wags out of town that I happen to drive by to the city but was wondering if my local Wags would correct it for me. Going to give it a shot tomorrow but they are pretty picky so I doubt it 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’ve had my favorite Wags correct other stores mistakes. You have to get the right cashier, though. good Luck!

  8. Shannon

They have Gillette deodorant B1G1 half off this week. I have a B1G1 free coupon, and a $3 off coupon. If it’s $8 each, can I use the free coupon on the full price item, then use the $3 off coupon on the half-off item (now $4), making the total $1? Does anyone know if this will work, or if it’s just wishful thinking?

    • Francoise Van Heusden

Shannon, Your wish has come true! Walgreens’ coupon policy specifically states that they take 2 coupons on a BOGO sale. One for the item you are paying for and one for the free item. Print out their policy so you have it handy should there be any dispute. (There should be a link to it on this site if you do a search).

    • rosee

the $3 off will make your 1st deodorant $5,the second one will just be free. making it 2/$5

  9. imaurora1

I was able to find the Arnicare gel at my store, but the coupon beeped and they refused to push it through since it was going to give me a RR. Bummed, but I was able to do the Neuragen gel so at least I made money there.

  10. Shannah

My Wags has their Oral-B CrossAction Power Toothbrushes on sale for $5.99. I got a B1G1 free Q in this Sundays’ paper, plus I a $.75 off Q from last week (I think). That would make them $2.62 each.

  11. jenny

My walgreens said I couldn’t use the Feb. Walgreens booklet coupon and a manufacturer coupon for the scotts paper towels. They told me they are both manufacturer coupons and this can’t be done. Wondering if this is correct? Thanks

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I did it yesterday with no issue at my Walgreens

      • Misty Mc.

I also did the Scott’s paper towel stack yesterday with no issues. I am very frustrated to hear how many people are being told those February Coupon books contain manufacturer coupons. Does the bar code number begin a 5 or a 9? No, they do not. If a checker told me those were manu. q’s, I’d tell them “GREAT! Them I’m going to run these down the block to CVS and buy my Wal-atin there!”

  12. Lauren

At my walgreens (WI) the pepsi products are 3/$9.96, so if you use the coupon for free diet pepsi, you get 4/$9.96

    • Kelly

      Same here! Also in WI.

  13. Melissa

Does anybody know what the nyquil sinex product is for $5? I can’t find any for less than $7 at several stores.

    • Lynna

      I can’t find it for $5 either……

    • Misty Mc.

I couldn’t find the Sinex brand, but instead bought four of the Dayquil Mucus Formula liquid. $5 each x 4 = $20. Used 4 of the $4.00 off any Sinex product. Paid $4 got a $10 RR. Those coupons expire today, so it was my last chance at it tonight. The register didn’t beep at all, but the cashier was just about to question it when he paused and realized it didn’t beep (old habits I suppose) and he kept going through the rest of the stack of Q’s. I think I got $36 worth of items for $2.17, but it cost me one $10 RR, but I did get 2 more $10 RR’s back. So I think it worked out okay.

  14. nicole

Just got back from Walgreens (MIchigan location) and they didn’t have no butterfinger snackerz or the other choclate dea i was looking for. Everytime i go they don’t carry none of the products that these deals are on. I’m begining to think i might not go to walgreens anymore, cuz i swear the last three times i left with nothing. They never carry anything at the location i go to. I always end up having to drive all the way out to another one. It’s ridiculous. But on a happy note, i’m excited for every1 else who’s getting the savings 😉

    • Jennifer

For the past few months our Wags has had the snackerz 5/$1 because they had ordered so much and were trying to get rid of them. Now they are on sale this week and the store is completely out along with no mentos. Cashier told me the warehouse was out and therefore they couldn’t get any. Go figure, the week I got freebie coupons they all the sudden have none!

  15. Nikki

I have a question about the Gillette razor deal…There were no signs in my store and nothing in the ad either and the manager didn’t know…is this something that is unadvertised…regional…or what? I am new to Wags!!

    Deal scenario:
Gillette Venus or Fusion ProGlide razor system $9.99 = $4 RR
Use the $4/1 coupon found in the 12/26 PG (Exp. 1/31!) or 1/30 PG
    Pay $5.99
    Get back a $4 RR
    Final cost $1.99!

Thanks for your help in advance!

    • Jolene

Is it a Walgreens store or Happy Harry’s? Happy Harry’s is Walgreens, but they have an abbreviated ad. They are supposed to be switching in April to make it all the same. It is very frustrating!

      • Ntorbett

        It is a Walgreens.

  16. Rachel

So frustrated… Since I have moved I have to go to a different Walgreens where they are not very coupon friendly at ALL! Today I went and tried to purchase the Arnicare Gel with a $2 OFF coupon. My $2 coupon beeped and then the cashier told me that I could not use it because it was a Register Rewards deal and that I would already be getting the item for free.

When I asked why that was and stated that I did not think that was in their coupon policy, she called the manager over. The manager said the same thing but could not show me where it said that in the policy. I left frustrated and without my Arnicare 🙁 I’m about to call customer service.

  17. Karen

I got the $3 Thermacare coupon to print with an expiration date of 3/3/2011, so it’s worth a try!

  18. FiveBoys

I have some BOGO FREE q’s for deoderant and hair care, both of which are BOGO 50% off this week, but I can’t figure out how my q’s would work in this sale or if it’s even a good deal. I know Wags takes BOGO FREE q’s when they have a BOGO FREE sale, making both items free, but how does this work if the Wags sale is just BOGO 50%, not BOGO FREE? Anyone know?

  19. Holly

I’m not sure but I think it should totally work. Wags sale will ring up automatically. With your bogo coupon the cashier will have to write in a price I assume and that is where you *might* run into problems. But then it is always frustrating if you get the wrong cashier. I’m thinking, now I might be totally wrong, but I think that you would just have to pay the 50% for the second item. It might depend on HOW the coupon is entered into the register. I’m curious now 🙂

  20. spagel79

I tried to use the $3 ThermaCare coupon, it unfortunately had big print stating “NOT GOOD WITH ANY OTHER OFFER”, I was denied….

  21. Eunsil

Can anybody please help me? I have $10 RR from Gillette Pro Glide razors last time(like 2 or 3 weeks ago I think), and can I use that RR on buying another Gillette Pro Glide razors? Would I be able to get RR(from using RR)?

    • Wgarcia

Not if its the same product/ brand.

  22. Glenn

I tried to use the blink coupon but it beeped, and both the clerk and the manager said that I would not get the RR on an item if I also used a manufacturer’s coupon. Those dummies said that this was always the policy which is totally wrong. WAGs must have changed their computer programming lately. I don’t believe I’ll be doing much more shopping there anymore.

  23. Holly

Eunsil – to be on the safe side I wouldn’t use that rr to buy the same product. Sometimes you can and still get another rr but most times it will not print.

Glenn – when they say that all you have to do is pull out an ad – they usually have the phrase close to “coupons found in most Sunday papers.” If you couldn’t do it then why would it be advertised? It is also a good idea to print out each stores coupon policy and bring it with you. And if the manger said the policy has changed recently I would ask for a copy.

    • Eunsil

Thank you Holly! 😀 I used $5 RR yesterday on Oral B toothbrush(with BOGO coupon last Sunday), it was on 5.99. I’m going to Walgreens again to spend another $5(expires today) on Gillette razor refill or other stuff.

  24. Amy

Everytime I click on your links to coupons.com, I cannot find the product that is supposed to have a coupon. Do I need to use a certain zipcode? Also, I often can’t find the coupons from the paper that you mention, even if I have the same coupon flyer you reference? Is there that much of a regional difference?

    • Christine

I’ve run into the same issues with inserts a lot as well. I’m from Toledo, Oh, and one of my co-workers heard me talking about coupons, so one week he brought me in a bunch of inserts. He lives in Oak Harbor, which is less than an hour away. At his grocery store he was able to buy the papers for Port Clinton (next to Oak Harbor), Sandusky (also less than an hour from me), and possibly from Columbus, I don’t remember. There actually were quite a few differences. Mostly similar coupons with different layouts, but there was definitely a significant enough difference in coupons I hadn’t seen before, and sometimes in the value of the coupons. Even the P&G insert covers advertised a significant difference in total savings (where they put “over $xx amount of savings inside!”). So yeah, there can be a huge difference. Unfortunately he only brought me inserts a couple times and hasn’t since for some reason 🙁 Oh well, it was nice while it lasted. Also, a lot of posts will specify an area code, but if I don’t see one, I’ll use 90210 a lot and find different q’s. I finally broke down and spent the past 2 days revamping my entire coupon system, including creating a database of all the coupons I personally have. Hoping it will save me more time and frustration.
