This might sound dumb (lol), but does anyone know if these TRU deals will be available online ON Black Friday? I am so used to going out on Black Friday, but this year I have a LO, and am DEFINITELY not getting up to go! ; ). I am a Cyber Monday vet, just not a Black Friday online vet. TIA!!!

    • ashley

they usually dont advertise that the pricing is online, but look anyways bc i remember last year I skipped black friday but was up online and bought the same awesome deals at walmart.com that people were fighting for in the store. so I guess its worth a try. hth 🙂

  2. Megan

Totally price matching the Leapster Explorer at Walmart! TRU is WAY to crazy around here. It’s the only store that is on our ABSOLUTELY NEVER AGAIN list.. lol

    • Kim

The price above is for the Leapster 2, not the explorer. IMO, the explorer is wayyyy better than the Leapster 2, the graphics are just awesome on the explorer. The best price I have found on the explorer is to take the 40% off B&N coupon over to Barnes and nobles and get it 40% off the list for $69.95 or $42. Then if you have a rewards membership, you get another 10% off. B&N is also supposed to be doing a 50% off coupon on BF which would make it $35, but with the craziness in the store, i would just buy it now with the 40% off and the 10% off (you can do a trial membership if you just want it for this purchase). Also, right now on ebates, you can get e-gfitcards to Barnes and Nobles with 8% cash back, so get yourself an e-giftcard for about $40 before you go and you will get the best deal I think is out there for the explorer right now!!! 🙂

      Good luck!

Kim – We’re debating between the Leapster 2 and the Explorer for our almost 5-year-old daughter. In reviews I’ve seen that the Explorer plays a “commercial” every time you start a new game, is this true? Is there a way to override this? Just trying to decide which way to go. Any tips you have would be greatly appreciated!

Also, FYI, Toys R Us has the Explorer games buy one get one free through tomorrow (Wednesday).

        • Kim

          Hi Elizabeth,

My son’s does not play any commercials, that is interesting… We bought it for him last Christmas. I don’t know if they added that on later?? We don’t connect it up to the computer for updates or anything, I wonder if that would prompt commercials to be loaded to it if we did. There is a little option he can click on and watch ‘previews’ of other games, which does prompt him asking for a particular game he watched a preview of. Maybe that is what others are referring to? But my 4 year old (so far!) is a very reasonable child and never even had terrible two’s. So what might be a nightmare for another parent, isn’t really bad for us. We simply tell him ‘no’ or ‘not right now,’ and he is doesn’t bug us or throw a fit or anything. My neice has the leapster 2 and I know my SIL just upgraded her to the explorer. When Kaden had his explorer with him last time we saw them, I realized how different they are. The explorer graphics are light years better. But Toys R Us and Target tend to have the ‘sample’ ones out that you can touch and play with a bit, so I would definitely take a look and see if the difference in graphics is important to you! Sorry I am not much more help. And thanks for the heads up about the toys r us…I just actually broke and bought 2 more. I had bought two on Sunday… 🙂 He only has three games right now and this will take him to 7. If he is going to be using this for awhile, I might as well cave and get the games for a price I know won’t be beat for awhile to come given the leappads are also using the cartridges…

  3. felicia

There is also a 5.00 coupon in the sunday circulars for an additional 5.00 off of the Furreal Cookie Pup

    • Lori

I was sent a $5 off $25 toys r us purchase coupon, I’m hoping to combine that with the $5 manufacture coupon and get it for $20! I’ve never stacked coupons at TRU has anyone had luck with a similar deal before?

      • Sarah

My toys r us let me stack. Good luck 🙂

      • bethany

i have with candy coupons at Halloween time and had no problem

  4. Fran

I need to know if those deals are available online as well since we just moved 2 hrs from all retail stores (except Walmart).

    • ashley

This is repost from above but hope it helps:

  5. Kat

I’m confused what day and time will the V-Tech Kidizoom Camera $19.99
    (regularly $39.99!) be available? Thanks!

    • ashley

      Thursday 9-pm to 1pm friday!

      • Kat

        ty Ashley 🙂

        • ashley

No problem its on my shopping list as well 🙂 my 5 year is constantly stealing my phone and taking TONS of random pics of people and her dolls… maybe I can keep her away for a while by buying this! lol

    • Leslie Palmer Williams

I just looked up the ad says thurs 9 pm until fri 1 pm.

  6. Jamie

So You ALL Know the same deals are going to be Online acording to Toys R us Facebook page.

    • mary

yay! I didn’t know that, thanks for sharing! 🙂

    • Sarah

Can you give some more information? I don’t see that anywhere on their website or FB page.

  7. Mel

Collin – What is Toys R Us and Babies R Us coupon policy?? Never shopped at either store with coupons. I have some store coupons and manufacture coupons I’d like to stack to get some diapers or wipes on the cheap!

  8. rach

Does anyone have any updates on the leappad situation? Think they might be holding stock for bf and maybe try target that day?

  9. Jennifer

Anyone know how many train tables per store?

  10. Erika Westfield

just a heads up…all these deals R AVAILABLE ONLINE at the same times they go on sale in the store, and there will probably be better deals…

    • tawnya

Are you possitive? Do you know where I can find more info?? I would hate to skip the store to stay home for the online deals and then not be able to do it online lol

    • Sarah

Where does it say that on their FB page? I can’t find that anywhere.

  11. amyerland

We got a Leapster Explorer at Target yesterday. It was on a price cut for 59.99 and there was a coupon in their big toy book for 10.00 off. If you use the coupon, your shopping bag and cr card we got it for 52.00. I thought that was pretty good?? So far today I dont see any deals on it that are super crazy.

  12. Emily

Will they have free shipping for the online deals? If you have to pay shipping for the same prices you’d get in-store, it doesn’t seem worth it to me.

  13. Julia

I noticed that in the TRU add that the vtech kidizoom camera isn’t the one that you have pictured. Can we get that kidi zoom at that price?

    • Sarah

Good call! I would bet on the one that the TRU ad has pictured.

      • Jennifer

I can’t find any vtech cameras for 19.99 on line.
