If you’re a fan of Groupon, then here’s an opportunity to snatch up $10 in Groupon Bucks! Simply head on over here, enter your email address and zip code to register for this special promotion and then purchase a local Groupon deal by 12/24/11 (only deals priced at $10 or more and offered by a local business with a physical presence are eligible). If you are one of the first 150,000 to do so, you’ll snag $10 in Groupon Bucks for free!

* To be eligible for this promotion, you must sign up here by 12/19/11, 11:59 PM PT; and purchase an eligible Groupon deal by 12/24/11, 11:59 PM PT.

* As part of this promotion, a local business is considered to be any business, in or around your city, that has a physical presence – a place where you can walk in and shop. Goods and Getaways deals, as well as exclusive engagements and gift-card purchases, are not considered “local” as part of this promotion.

* Even if you’re already a Groupon customer and/or have a Groupon account, you’ll need to register for this promotion using the form on this page. Be sure to use an email address you’ve already provided in your Groupon account so you’ll be eligible to receive $10 in Groupon Bucks.

* If you’re eligible to receive the credit, $10 in Groupon Bucks will be deposited into your Groupon customer account by December 31, 2011 (the $10 credit will expire March 31, 2012).

I have had a groupon account for a while but never purchased anything. I received an email last week with a $10 code to use on any deal. It was valid for 7 days and I used it today and got some free delicious pizza. So check your accounts, maybe some of you got the same email.

Can you use a referral link when you share this?

Does anyone know if this purchase includes ones from the past (not in today’s deal, but ones that were added a couple of days ago) ?

I don’t know if anyone spotted this, but Swagbucks now has a $25 Groupon e-gift card for 3,099 swagbucks or a $50 Groupon e-gift card for 5,749 swagbucks. That could make for a FREE deal PLUS $10 credit if the Groupon gift card arrives in your Swagbucks account in time.

    Hi Collin!

I have a request. Now that you’ve moved I’ve noticed that the time stamps on your posts are in you local time (which is understandable). Is it possible that you could include MST with the time? I’ve gotten into the habit of being in the same time zone as you so when I see something is limited to the first so many people I often judge it based on the time you posted. If you can’t include MST then I’ll just have to remember you’ve moved on my own.

    Thanks for considering this

Will it work for Groupon NOW deals? The Subway near my house always offers 3 Foot -Long Subs for $13.

    I have the same question.
