Anyone NOT get the $1/1 ALL coupon in their Redplum 1/1 Insert? I am trying to find out if the coupon was regional or not. I got 3 Sunday papers and I cannot find the coupon and I searched on Redplum.com as well. With just the $1.50 DG coupon, its really not low enough for me to buy it. Thanks.

Yes, it is HE for which I am really happy about! It is really difficult to find coupons for the HE machines so I usually end up buying detergent without a coupon and that just chaps my hide! LOL!
Just look online at your DG store or call them they should be able to tell you before you head out there.
we managed however, we were the only people in the store and our employee informed us that the managers encourage them to deny the coupons because they clog up their system. We told her that we had the coupon policy with us and they allowed a stack, she told us that they had changed their policy to use their discretion and that it just had not been updated. We do not shop here but the next time my daughter and I are just going to smile and ask if we can videotape them on their phone for their corporate office.:)
That is a good one.. However, legally speaking if they changed their Policy because they are corporate it needs to be in writing. If that is the case she needs to show you were the corporation made that change and authorized her/him to do such changes to the store. Even if it isto her discretion or stores it still needs to be stipulated in writing Corporate world as for all not just for one. Verbal affirmation is Hear Say.. Three party conversation can take place and be recorded as long as the other party is made aware does not necassirly mean they have to agree to it. Just be made aware of. IF I were you I would purposely go back with stackers coupons and the min. they denied/decilne them and gave the reason.. I would request for a copy of such policy. All the time running my cellphones camera/ video requestion all written affirmation. If they refuse ask if you can have something in writing stipulating this store no longer stacks and have her sign it. After such conversation ends.. Inform her she has been recorded and that you will be notify corporate.

I went to the store in Jenks OK and they were awesome! After reading on here I was kind of scared to go there and try but I had coupon policy on phone and READY!!! But I didn’t need it. They were AWESOME!!!
I’m headed off to mine today. Hope I have a good experience like you. I am armed with coupon policy also. Figure if they refuse, I can call corporate and get a gift card out of it. nothing to lose..
the ALL was not on sale at mine. 5.00 so it was not a good deal.
Did you have them scan it at register because mine advertised for the same amount but at register it dropped to $3.50 minus the coupons I had.
My wife and I went to 2 Dollar General stores last night. The first store, the cashier said we could not use 2 coupons on 1 item. We explained that yes you can. She consulted with the person in charge who also would not allow both coupons. She then called the district manager who told her that we could not use 2 coupons. We gathered everyone’s name and will be calling today. We were able to get 2 bottles at the next store but not without the cashier having to ask the person in charge. They still did not believe you could use both but agreed to try it and of course it worked.
I am getting increasingly irritated at stores with employees that do not know their own company’s policy regarding coupon redemption. Dollar General in particular pisses me off because they put a multi page ad in the coupon insert every week. Maybe they should skip the ad for a few weeks and use that money to train their employees.
Please read # 53.1 and it is good you gathered names now pull up a copy of there coupon policy on there web. I would take it to them and show them. Along with a couple of John Hancocks from staff if they are affirmitive that they do not ,
I went to 2 different Dollar Generals–the first one the cashier wouldn’t even read the coupon for the instructions if it would not scan. So, I asked for my coupons back and went to another store. I had problems but, had to do 3 different transactions for 3 bottles. The sales help are not very coupon savy–I agree they need to be trained better if the company is going to have store coupons.
I had to do 3 separate transactions as well to get mine, not to mention the same ignorance with their own coupon policy. The cashier was quick to tell me that she could not accept more than one coupon, hmmmm as expected an I told her, yes u can per your own store coupon policy which is clearly displayed right behind u. She read it an ran my transactions without another word.
Finally got mine tonight! They had to do 2 transactions and scan DG coupon 1st!
I did not get this deal. The manager at my store was down right rude about the coupons. First she said they couldn’t take 2 coupons on one item – then she told me they couldn’t take coupons AT ALL on sale items. Needless to say, I will not be going back to DG any time soon.

I had the same problem as everyone else. it was at one I never shop at. she said that they did not take computer coupons and did not want to help me so I asked if I could talk to the manger and she did not really want to help either so I tried to show her what I was talking about but she did not care and of course I did not get the name because they did not have a name tag on .I called corporate office and now I’m waiting for the district manger to call me back.I’m going try the one I normally shop at and I know everybody because it’s only 3 miles away from me and they love my little kids
The manager at the DG here was great. She said that they are never informed about coupon policies so she will be asking the higher ups. They didn’t even know about limits or overages. She believed that if the coupon is higher than the amount of product then they couldn’t accept the coupon. She also told me a lot of couponers chew her out all the time and are very rude. That attitude ruins it for other couponers. She really did try to help me out but didn’t know about how to handle the coupons so I waited patiently for her to figure it out. She said she wished others were nice and then she would want to help them but when they are rude she just doesn’t want to help them.
this was the most annoying trip they wouldnt take them.. i will never go back
Super annoyed. Got denied the coupons, I was told that the $1.50 DG coupon did not work, so they couldn’t take it. Isn’t that misadvertising???
YEs and they should honor I would request for them to log on to their own website in front of me and show them the coupon or the email with coupon to be exact.. I would also let them know if they don’t honor it that you will be calling Corporate and don’t leave without getting her name and schedule. I would also go a step further and ask them why they advertise if they won’t honor..

I guess in order to just not hear my legal status she took the coupons lucky for her I keep going back now.. When I see the manager I always make it a point to say Hi and be extremely professional she won’t always respond but to me Business is Business Im a customer and they need customer in order to get paid. I keep taking coupons and I arm myself with every legalistic action I can think of in case they refuse me.. That hasn’t been the case though. THere are times when they tell me I need to buy two or I can only use one and I will pull out my DG and tell them what sentence to read.. I even offer to go make a copy for their records since Im training them 😉

Our stores here in South Huntsville, AL were great about it and knew exactly how to handle the coupons. They were friendly and polite. I wish everyone could have as good an experience as I did.
Ok I just went to the Dollar General they have their Snuggles fabric softner sheets for $1.75 unadverstised I had to ask.. The manager said I could use my .75 coupon from all for snuggles because it was the same company so I used it and pd. 1.00…. Also The ALL laundry detergent with their in store share on the web coupon $1.50 and the 1.00 manufactured total 2.50 I only paid 1.50..LOve it!!! Airwick I used their coupon share on the web Dollar General 1.50 plus my Airwick manufactures coupon and I pd. .50cents. Their Snuggles again fabric softner dark blue bottle 75 loads was on sale unadvertised for 3.75 use your ALL coupon with them and save on this big bottle I paid only 2.75….Colgate and Cogate toothbrushes $1.00 I used 3/.75 cents colgate manufactored coupons paying only .75cents for 3 colgates toothpaste… Garnier products on sale 3.00 grab your coupon from coupon.com or couponnetwork or smartsource and pay only 2.00… Sale good through 1/23
