UPDATE – Sorry for the confusion, all.  It appears that the Buy 2 Get 1 Free coupon prints with Walmart’s logo on it and according to the CVS Coupon Policy here, they will not accept third party manufacturers’ coupons with another retailer’s logo.  However, I’m sure this coupon will make for an awesome deal at Walmart, so be sure to print it while you can!

WooHoo!  I posted the new $2 off $3 American Greetings CVS store coupon in the Printable Coupon round-up last night, but thought it was worth mentioning again, especially with the current sale at CVS this week!  AND, even sweeter, there’s a brand new *HOT* Buy 2 Get 1 Free American Greetings card coupon up on Coupons.com (use zip 19606) that turns this deal in to a nice moneymaker!

Here’s how you can score a great deal at CVS this week!

Buy 3 American Greeting Cards = $3 Ecb (limit 1)
*Note – This Deal may be for Hallmark cards in some regions
Buy 3 cards priced at $0.99 = $2.97
Use the $2 off 3 CVS store coupon found here
Plus, use the Buy 2 Get 1 Free Coupon found here (use zip 19606 if necessary) – will need to be adjusted down
Pay as low as $0
Get back $3 Ecb
Final cost FREE + $3 money maker!
*Also, if your store is doing the Hallmark deal, be sure to scan your card at the Magic Coupon Machine, as some readers have scored Buy 3 get 1 Hallmark card free coupons!

The CVS coupon reads “RETAILER: Coupon cannot be combined with an other offer.” Doesn’t this mean that it cannot be combined with the manufacturer coupon you reference above?

  • Erin L. says:

My CVS sells Hallmark – not American Greeting :(

  • Andrea says:

My store is participating in this deal. Yesterday I bought 3 Hallmark cards, 2@ 2.99 and 1@ 0.99 and never got my ECB’S.It still says I need to earn 1 more. Is this because of the 0.99 card???

    • Sarah says:

no, usually the $0.99 cards work for the ECB deals. You should ask your store manager. Are you sure they were all Hallmark cards?

I just did the deal earlier this week. My store only carries the American Greetings cards but I bought 3 of the $0.99 cards and my ECB printed.

      • Andrea says:

I’m positive, I even saved my receipt showing all 3 Hallmark cards were purchased. Think I’ll be heading back today to find out why, thanks!!

    • Rei says:

I purchased 3 Hallmark cards 2 days ago priced at $0.99 each and got my ECB.

  • Rachael says:

I can’t find the Q. It must be gone already.

  • Sarah says:

This coupon has a “Redeemable at Walmart” with logo on it. Per CVS policy, will they not accept this coupon?

    • Hi Sarah,
Since this is a manufacturer coupon and not a store coupon, they should accept it! You can go here for more details on their policy. :) https://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/cvscontent/faq/couponpolicy.pdf

        the first q/a says -
What type of coupons does CVS/pharmacy accept?
        Hide Answer

        A. CVS/pharmacy accepts CVS/pharmacy Coupons (ExtraBucks® Rewards, offers at register or printed from CVS.com®) and valid internet/print at home coupons containing a barcode. We also accept original third party manufacturer coupons that contain a barcode and must not be a reproduction or a rebate.

Note: CVS/pharmacy will not accept third party manufacturers’ coupons with another retailer’s logo.

now, this might be a YMMV situation, but all of the stores I shop at will not accept a manuf cpn with another store logo anymore.

Hey you all and Mrs. Collin just wanted to remind you all to check your clearance racks/shelve at CVS were the place all the $1.00 items my local CVS is by the Pet Items. I just went by there today and they had the Hefty ziploc bags the gallon size and the sandwich for just 1.00.. Sweet deal when you combine it with your coupon manufactures 2/1.00.. You only pay 1.00 that is getting it for .50 eac. Also Right Guard has gone on sale now it says 50% @ 2.28 but rings up at the counter for 1.17… I used my 1.00 manufacture coupons to score me a sweet deal AGAIN and only paid this time .34 cents.

  • Rachael says:

I put in zip 46733 and it showed up.

  • Kim R says:

Jenn- My says the same and I have the same question (Rookie/amateur here)! Does anyone know if those two coupons will work with that language on one? Thanks!

  • Jessica says:

The $2/3 coupon says right on it in the middle COUPON CANNOT BE COMBINE WITH ANY OTHER OFFER. I don’t think any cashier would let this slide.

  • Jamie says:

I am thinking about doing this deal and getting 4 cards. using a 20% that was added to my cvs card off and paying .80 cents for 4 cards (so .20 a card) and then hopefully getting the $3 back and still a money maker and hoping no beeps. I do not see anything about the cards having to just be Valentines day.

    i wish i had a cvs near :P

  • V says:

I want to know if anyone had any problem with the cvs coupons since they look different without a barcode. Please let me know.

  • JazzD says:

Im going to try it. My cvs is pretty awesome, they will even sometimes take an expired coupon or a store coupon for a like item….i think it will work. it is at the managers discretion.

  • amy says:

I always print those coupons anyways with the Walmart logo and just cut it off. The stores always take them and they never know the difference. Works everytime!!

  • wendy d says:

The B2G1 is a manufacturers coupon period. It is good at any store that accepts manufacturers coupons. The barcode is for a MQ. CVS accepts MQ. There is incorrect information being posted here.

    • mel says:

A while back, I tried using a Softsoap coupon with a Walgreens logo. The cashier said she couldn’t accept the coupon, and showed me a print out of the new policy (which I was aware of) plus a print out of the FAQ page, with this part highlighted:

Note: CVS/pharmacy will not accept third party manufacturers’ coupons with another retailer’s logo.

Mind you, I was ready to stand my ground about it being a manuf q with a proper remit address… but I like my CVS, have a good relationship with the manager (who will pre-order anything for me) and cashiers that are very nice & coupon friendly, so I decided not to be an arse (there is always a time & place for that!) and said OK, just take it off and I’d use the cpn at Walgreens.

I called CS when I got home and was told that CVS does not get reimbursed for logo’d store coupons, the logo is not meant to be subliminal (that was always my impression), as the manuf & store have an agreement for the logo placement to get you to X store.

Anyway, I’ve just decided to forgo using logo’d q’s. If I can’t find a normal coupon, then I pass on the deal. Its not my loss, but CVSs!

I paid .15 cent for three cards today and 6 dollars in extrabucks, and a 10 percent off any beauty purchase. (:

  • valerie says:

yippie i did this u can also get three pacs of eclipse gum for 1.00 each and get a 2 ECB back

  • Mel says:

I got mine, just paid the tax = 20 cents! And I got $3 in ECB!

  • Sheri says:

I used this coupon today. They took it fine. I’d say you may as well try to use it even though their policy is against it.

  • Debbie says:

This deal is going on again next week starting 01/29. Can I do this deal again since it’s a new week and get another 3ECB? I did get my cards last week and got 3ECB. It does limit one per household.
