Is that a good price for the Charmin? I have a $2/1 coupon, but I’m wondering if even $7.99 is a good price. I can’t find the square footage online, but I saw that a pack of 24 double rolls is 569.2 sq ft, which makes me think that 16 double rolls is only about 379.5 sq ft. If that’s the case, this isn’t a very good deal, right?

I have been burned before at CVS thinking ‘big’ roll meant ‘double’ roll, when in fact it wasn’t quite a double size roll. Don’t know which type of t.p. it was, but I have avoided buying all t.p. at CVS and Walgreen’s because of this.
Hi remember after the $10 gift card, it lowers that 7.99. Dont know how many your planning on buying or how many coupons you have. In my case, buying three or $24 plus the $10 gift card back made them 3 for $14 which was under $5each. Even if your buying other items consider the gift card in lowering that $7.99 which ft. makes it a good deal. I have the package in front of me and it reads 334sq HTH

Even taking the gift card into consideration, you are basically saving 33% on everything you buy towards the gift card, so that would make the toilet paper $5.35 with my $2 coupon. If it’s 334 sq ft (thanks for letting me know!!) I don’t really want to pay more than $3.34 for it.
So thanks a bunch for your help – I think it’s not a great deal for me, and it’s super helpful to know that before I go to the store so that I can plan to spend my $30 on something else 🙂

It was a good deal for myself just because I had free ECBs from the Loreal last week… so free hair dye, free toilet paper and $10 gift card. I am taking into consideration all of you guys comments about sq and price per roll as well as for diapers so I can be smarter when I have future purchases.
I have a question…..to do the Special K deal, would I have to make 2 separate purchases to get 2 ECB’s? Do I need 2 different CVS cards?
There is a limit of five $4 ECBs for the Special K deal, so I think you can buy up to 15 with the same ExtraCare card and get the ECBs.
When I bought 6 boxes, only a $4 ECB printed (instead of $8). Had to have the manager force print another $4 for me.
Anyway, buy 3 boxes per transaction to ensure you get $4 each time. You don’t need another card, as the limit is 5 deals.
Ok, so when it says limit 5, it means the deals? I thought it meant a limit of 5 boxes meaning only 1 ECB per person.

Whenever there is a limit on sale items (non-ecb deals that is), it’s per transaction.

I have a question about a 25% discount that is available to load to my card or print. I would like to buy the Schick slim twin disposable razors $7.99 x 3=$23.97. My discount would make these razors $17.98. I have (2)$3 coupons from the $1.97 bags at walmart and $2 from the SS. This would make this deal FREE after the ECB’s. I’m wondering if anyone knows if the discount puts me under $20 and won’t trigger the ECB’s. My total before discount is over $20, (which you need to earn the $10 ECB), but what will be used? I called the store and they don’t know. I’m hoping someone has an answer for me because this is a HOT deal!!!
I think the %off coupons have to be used on non sale items but you may want to call the store first and ask.
Usually if your total before coupons is over the specified amount needed to kick out the ECB’s they should print. I use coupons all the time on the must spend 30$ to get 10$ ECB and I still receive my ECB’s. Worse case scenario you return it the next day and say your husband did not like it : )

In my 1/8 SS, the coupon was BOGO for the Stayfree (up to 4.49 I think). So the Stayfree was a great deal! Bought 2 packages of pads 4.29 plus 2.15. The coupon took off 4.49. so $1.95 for 2 packages.
Does anyone know if items that are eligible for ECB are ‘promotional’ items? I want to use the 25% coupon that I received on my extracare account to buy a conair hairdryer, but since all conair products are buy one and get $5 ECB I’m not sure it will work.
I am definitely NOT sure about this (sorry!) but I think as long as the item is not on sale, you can use a %-off coupon. So even if it has an ECB associated with it, as long as it is ringing up at regular price, I think you *should* be able to use the coupon.
But hopefully someone more knowledgeable than I can tell you for sure 🙂

But, this week cvs cupon machine not giving good cpns!
