For what it is worth, I have used the surface scrub in basil and the smell is not for me. I use Bon Ami liquid cleanser for pots and pans and it works great. I use Method Le Scrub for the bathtub and shower. And I use water and vinegar for most other stuff. I do want to try the Mrs. Meyer’s dish soap. I have used Seventh Generation and I like it, and I have used Method dish soap and it is way too strongly scented. As far as toilet cleaner goes, I am not at all “green”. I use the Clorox toilet wand and I have to use hard core cleaner because our well water stains. Hope that helps!

I absolutey love the scent of Mrs. Meyer’s cleaning products! My house always smells so clean and fresh after I use them. They tend to be rather expensive, but these prices are quite good.
I am addicted to the lemon verbena surface cleaner! It makes my kitchen smell soooo good!
Mrs. Meyers All purpose cleaner is pretty much the only cleaner I use. (although sometimes I use meathod, if there is an awesome deal on it…I like Mrs. Meyers better). I buy 1 bottle a year for $8 (normal retail price around here)…and it lasts the entire year, because it is a concentrate that you mix with water. 1/8 cup of cleaner goes into my squirt bottle and then fill it up with water. It’s awesome and CHEAP when you realize its $8 for an entire year of cleaning.
I only use natural cleaners, so I may be a little biased, but I love Mrs. Meyers products. I’m not a big fan of the countertop spray cleaner (you can mix a little water,vinegar, and essential oil together for much cheaper), but the liquid dish soap and the dishwasher tablets are a must have for me. I just bought 6 packages of the dishwasher tabs for $35. A great deal for those products!

First go through Collin’s link then go to ebates in a separate window and then back to drugstore.com. I hope this helps.
Beth, click on Collin’s link and add the items to your cart. Then in another window go to ebates and open your tracking ticket. You will see the items are still in your cart and then checkout.
It doesn’t appear that works. The shopping cart drops the bag if you go through Ebates and then shows “two sites” above your cart.
Worked for me! Went through Shop At Home for 6% cash back, and was able to check out with the Kind bag in my cart.

If there really isn’t anything you need, I would not spend the $35 just for the bag. The bags are fun and they contain some fun products (have had three different bags to date) – I doubt $40 worth. I always seem to need things from their Green & Natural store and so getting them plus this bag is a bonus. If I didn’t really need anything ….I wouldn’t order just for the bag.
I agree with Heather, I got the BioKleen bag a few months ago and really liked it. However, about half of it I gave away because I knew I’d never use it. It is how I fell in love with Luna bars and Kind bars. I needed more Luna bars so I ordered those to get the sample bag.

I finally got my cart exactly like I wanted it. The tote was in there. Then when I went to ebates to get the 6% the tote disappeared out of my bag. So I logged out of drugstore and went back to the “go through this link” link and I get this error: “Sorry, The special offer or gift certificate link you used is incorrect.an error that it’s not valid.” Is this offer over already?

SO not sure if anyone is trying to still buy this but they are out of stock. I emailed Customer service (after already placing a $35 order) and they gave me a $10 credit for my next order. Also if you buy $15 of method products you get laundry detergent free.
Your luck! I just called and complained that they cancelled it off my order and when I asked if they were giving customers anything for their time and using their site since it was their fault for overselling, I was told no. I only ordered from drugstore.com because of the Kind bag. I will go back to Netrition.com. They were cheaper!
Like others, I spent a good deal of time getting my order together, only to not get the freebie. I am not amused, especially since drugstore.com gives some dumb, nonsensical error message when trying to activate the email I received, instead of just saying that the promotion is sold out.

I placed my order as soon as I received the e-mail from Drugstore yesterday morning before it was posted about here. I was in such a rush to use ebates that I forgot to use shoprunner so I was bummed. But I got a shipment confirmation that includes the Kind bag and 3 of my items. One was not shipped although it was listed as in stock and shoprunner eligible. This goes to show that shoprunner orders do indeed take precedence and so my non shoprunner order got the item bumped out to ship later. Interesting.
I have to say I don’t mind the slower shipping. I use Amazon Prime rather heavily and I find items arrive before I even start dreaming of receiving them. I find I like the wait and uncertainty. What a surprise.
Well, not only did I not get my kind bag, only one item that I ordered was shipped, and everything else was canceled by Drugstore(even stuff still showing in stock on their site!). What a bummer.
See, this is what upsets me about it. I ordered Charlies soap(showing in stock on their site) and Method Candy Cane Dish soap. They are not only showing it in stock, but offering it free with a 15.00 method purchase to customers. This is bad business! It’s not available for me but it is for other customers as a special free item when I paid for it? I emailed customer service. Sorry for the rant! Just don’t understand why the order was cancelled!

Me too!!! I am really bothered by this. The incentive to place an order was this (supposedly) $40 sample bag. I placed the order, received email confirmation that included the big in the order, then received notice that all items had shipped except for the bag. Then I received notice of cancellation of the bag. What is this store’s return policy? (This is definitely a bait & switch!!!)
I’ve had other drugstore.com sample bag orders (and many regular and other deal orders) work out just fine. This one they shipped part of the order (which I will return either by refusing or sending back through shoprunner) and then cancelled the Kind bag AND method dishwasher tabs that are showing up in stock. Frustrated but this happens….
I got an e-mail that my kind bag had been cancelled but everything else will be here tomorrow. Really annoyed because they do this kind of thing quite often but I called and was given a $20 credit. Not exactly what I was looking for but they were very nice and I am happy with the credit. With that said I will not be hopping on anymore hot deals from them!
I got my order today without my Kind bag so I called customer service. The guy told me it had been backordered and I should get my bag within two weeks. I then checked my email a few minutes after talking to their customer service and they had sent me an email that the Kind bag would NOT be coming- that it was cancelled. I then called customer service and told them it seemed a little “bait and switchy”… the cs rep didn’t really seem to care so I asked to speak to a manager. I shared my frustrations and he ended up giving me a $20 credit to my account. I told them if they weren’t prepared to fill orders with a promotional item they should really have a back up plan to atleast offer something else. I was pleased how the manager handled my complaint and really appreciated receiving the $20 credit. Some of you may want to try the same thing if you were as annoyed as I was. I probably wouldn’t have ordered without the offer of the Kind bag but now will order from them again because of how they handled my complaint. 🙂
Same here…ordered because of the promo, to be later sent an email stating the KIND bag was canceled…called customer service and was offered a $15 dollar credit….My issue is that in all the emails/confirmations I was led to believe I got the bag…when really they had no idea how many bags they had or how many were ordered. Not to sure about this site…might be my first and last time….
I posted earlier about them not only cancelling the KIND bag but other items that were still showing up in stock on their site. Just to test, I placed an order for the items they cancelled right after they cancelled them to see what happened. Guess what? The shipped right out. SO not understanding why they cancelled my other items. I was disappointed that I didn’t get the KIND bag but I use the other items as staples so I was willing to go ahead with the order(just want my stuff!).
I do not think there ever was a bag. Funny I was online when I got the email about the bag, I ordered right away bag was in the order, then a couple hours later, order was on the way bvut not the bag, I am so mad!
I got my bag today, so I think they just sold out. These offers usually get a HUGE response when they are posted on the blogs. I have missed a lot of good deals by not acting fast. I’ve heard they have offered this freebie several times, so I would try again next time. I really like it, definetly worth it.
I think it’s time to start putting a dollar amount to the amount of time spent on picking out items and then dealing with customer service when all of us overload the system and the deals don’t work out. The frustration far outweighs the benefit of a sample bag and a bunch of expensive cleaning products!
