Just curious – why would you get an UP reward for buying reading glasses, when sunglasses are not reading glasses? Just trying to wrap my head around this…
I was surprised as well when the Reading Glasses +Up Reward printed in addition to the Kids Sunglasses +Up Reward.
I was pleasently surprised with this too. Had some +Ups I had to use yesterday, so did this kids sunglasses deal thinking these would be good for Easter baskets this year. Even better at only $0.99!

No $5 readers +UP for me. Just the $5 kids +UP. Just did this at noon in NorCal and bought 1 Minnie Mouse, 1 Cars.
Same for me no extra 5 up for readers just the one for sunglasses in Sacramento, ca.
Just did it in Pittsburgh PA, got 2 in one store and 4 in another.
Both times two $5 printed.

I bought 4 pairs. In Gainesville, Virginia, they were priced $6.99 each for the Foster brand. So $21 for 4, then I received $20 UPS. So $0.25 each.
I did it in Central PA & got mixed results. None of the glasses were marked and the cashier even said one of the kids (same brand as the other) wasn’t even included in the BOGO50% deal. I bought 2 and only one $5 printed. Then, since I have 4 kids who were all there with their glasses, I bought the other 2. Fortunately, that receipt printed out with (2) $5 +UP. I don’t know if this has anything to do with it, but for the transaction that worked to get both, the codes on the end of the price tag was “RAP.” For the transaction that only got one, I had bought one ending in “RAP” and one ending in “RP.” I think that stands for Rite Aid Promo?? Wondering if this will help anyone else!? All of the ones I got were Disney ones.
Hmmmm….I wonder if there is something to that. I had a RAP and a RP in my purchase posted prior from NorCal and did not get the reader +UP. I may play with the deal tomorrow and test your theory.
If you try it, please post what happens — I’d love to know if that was the trick!

Bought 2 Transformer pairs last night at about 9:30 pm in Michigan and got both $5 Ups.
I bought 2 foster grant kids in one store and 1 foster grant and one cars in another ( no girl glasses at the first) and got both 5 rewards on each at both stores . I am in Massachusetts. the second and third store that I went to didn’t have a spinner of glasses with all of the disney ones just a small section of Foster grant kids hanging in one of the aisles, the person working there said they haven’t gotten a lot of their stock in yet.
I only got one $5 Ups for two pairs of kids glasses. Boo.
I think it’s not working anymore. My friend just tried it and it’s printing only one.
I had been planning to do this deal before knowing about the extra +up so after reading this I headed out and got my son some new shades. 2 pair and they did print both $5+ups. Two pair of shades and a pack of gum for under $2(I had some +ups to use) sweet. Thanks for posting.
So it was working as of 1pm in so cal.
I am so mad at my self now because I scratched the crud out of one of the lenses when I was removing the impossible plastic tag thing. Does anyone know if there is a way to buff out a scratch on a plastic lens?
I bought at 11.30 am today and it worked fine but just now at 2.30 pm my friend tried and it didn’t work. May be they fixed it and it’s dead now. I live in northern california (bay area).

I went to rite aid and bought 4 kids glasses and got ten dollars up reward. I paid 24dollars in total and tax and just received ten up rewards. I did the deal as you posted but what went wrong as they did not cost me 99 cents each.
