“I just turned on my phone and noticed that Shopkick (@ CVS) is offering Free $5 extra bucks to be spent with a min of $5 purchase ! What a deal! Plus, there are tons of things to scan today (k200 walk in) + another 260 points worth of scanning. Extra/cvs card required!”

Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for this Sunbeam 0.7 Cubic Feet Microwave Oven on possible clearance for only $15 (regularly $59.99!) at CVS. This same microwave is currently priced at $77.11 on Amazon, so this seems like a great bargain! Come back and let us know if your store has these marked down at this low price!

Finally, check out what reader Yuliet emailed me:

“Stop by the Pharmacy at CVS, and ask the pharmacist about a coupon for the “Extraordinary Savings Program”. If you scan your CVS card you will receive a 20 percent off coupon each week through September 29, valid for non sale items only, and there is also a 3/15 coupon on the sheet for your next purchase.” What an awesome coupon!

(Thanks, Amanda, My Litter, Stingy Momma, Yuliet, and Tina!)

I have a iphone 3G. I tried to download the app and it says in need an update for IOS 4.0. Anyone know how to do the udate?

    • Jay

when you sync your phone to your pc/Mac check for updates on your iPhone tab. My iPhone 4 is on version 5.something so you may be behind a few updates, it might take awhile to catch your phone up. hth

Just an FYI….I’ve used the foam hair color and it doesn’t seem to last as long as the creme kind. Has anyone else had that problem? My hair stylist says the foam itself is just not as dense as the creme and that’s why I had a problem with it.

    • amanda

I helped my mom get adeal on the foam hair dye a while back and she hated it out left her hair feeling like straw and didn’t last long

    • diane

I agree. I got a couple of coupons to try the John Frieda foam hair color and I really did not like it. It also made my hair feel like straw and did not last very long and the foam is hard to put on just the roots.

    • Aubrey

i hate the foam stuff… My hair was so damaged after trying it.

  8. Allyson

I live in Tennessee and I have the $5 off $5 purchase available on Shopkick. You must have CVS listed as a fave.

    • Jennifer

Hmm… I added it to my favorites and I don’t see any deals or extra scans. I’m in NY. Let’s hope the test market in SF goes well so they can expand nationwide ๐Ÿ˜‰

  14. Kristin

I called the cvs customer care line. The extraordinary savings program coupons from the pharamists are intended for Express Scripts customers only. Too bad for me, those coupons sounded great.

Tell me I am not the only one who forgets to use ECB’s! Ran down to get some good bandaids to cover my son’s stitches and took my Clairol foam hair color q’s and ecbs and totally forgot to use the extra ecb’s!!! Was supposed to use one and pay only 1.99 +tx for one hair color and then only 3.12 for the second hair color and bandaids. Instead paid about10 bucks altogether. But I guess the bright side is now I have $7 ECB’s for another deal. Just so annoying.
