If you missed this *HOT* coupon offer when I posted late last night, I am moving it up to the top! I don’t want any of you to miss out on snagging FREE chocolate! 😀

Hurry on over to the Lindt Chocolate USA Facebook page and “like” them to score a printable coupon valid for a FREE bag of Lindor Truffles 6 oz or less (up to $3.99 value)! They are giving away 1 million bags of FREE Lindor Truffles, while supplies last.

* Coupon expires 11/7/2012.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I am a little surprised that Lindt would be offering up a FREE product printable coupon instead of opting to mail out a coupon since lots of stores do NOT accept free product printable coupons. 🙁 Definitely keep this in mind before taking advantage of this offer.

Fine Print:
Only one coupon allowed to be downloaded per Facebook User. Customer must provide the physical coupon, in printed format, at time of purchase. Maximum value $3.99. Cannot be doubled or combined with any other offer, discount or promotion. Void if copied, taxed or prohibited. Cash value 1/100 cent. Consumer pays any sales tax. coupon states “also redeemable at U.S. Lindht chocolate shop”. Which means we can also use it at any store that will accept them.

  2. Mrs. W

Does anyone know how much these are at like Kroger, or CVS? or anywhere for that matter? 🙂 Thanks!

    • Crystal

At my local Fry’s which like Krogers it was $3.99 which is the exact amount the coupon’s maxium value.

    • ella

i used mine today at cvs. they were 5.00 each, or 2 for 9. i went ahead and used it since i also had a 20% off…

    • Shauni

I went to my local Kroger’s tonight (Detroit metro area) and they were $4.19 a bag, so since the coupon says up to $3.99 value they took off the $3.99 and I only had to pay .20 cents, which still isn’t bad.

    • Heather

At my cvc they were $4.59. SO they took the 3.99 off the price. Still a great price for yummy candy!

    • Diane

My local grocery store accepts printable coupons for free items. However, they charge $5.29 for this product. Still a nice discount with the coupon, but not a freebie as I had hoped.

  3. tina

    Mine printed blank….

  4. Michelle

Without a hollogram, I’m afraid this coupon won’t work. I will still give it a good try tho!

    • Carter

      ……… :O

    • Heather

It does work 🙂 Try CVS!

  5. Suzy

I just printed one and copied it and took 3 coupons to Walmart and got 3 free bags !!

    • Dealgirl

      That’s coupon fraud.

    • D

      Do not copy coupons!

    • shanshan

They can be all traced back to you! :-O

    • tina

haha… you copied it??? how could you????

      • Ashley57

coupons.com will seriously suspend your account for that and not let you print any more.

    • Aimee

That’s a coupon no-no!! Never copy them! It’s supposed to be 1 coupon per Facebook account holder. Please use coupons ethically and correctly!

    • anonymous

Here is what the Lindt facebook page states about coupon fraud:

“13. Can I make copies of this coupon offering and share/mail/email them out to my friends? As you move through the process of downloading this coupon from Facebook, you will have the opportunity to share this offer to your Facebook community, for them to download for themselves. Only one coupon download is available per Facebook user. However, making physical copies of any coupon, and then reselling, transferring, redistributing, or reproducing the coupon in any manner constitutes “coupon fraud”, which is a serious offence, and can therefore be subject to prosecution. As a security function, this coupon offering has been tied to each individual’s Facebook profile via a “CoupCheck” bar code found on each coupon, which provides information and identification of the Facebook subscriber. CoupSmart LLC, the administrator of this coupon offer monitors, tracks, and identifies those who have committed coupon fraud. Those profiles that have been identified as having committed coupon fraud will be added to a blacklist, which will restrict that profile from participation with any other CoupSmart promotion. In addition, this contact information could be used for further prosecutorial consideration.”

    • Lori Stevens

You could pay some serious fines and even serve jail time for that! Honesty is the best policy :).

    • darla

not nice…..they wont offer them if people like you do things like that

      • Nene

I didn’t make copies of mine, but it was a print-out window, so I printed out 3. I mean how can they make it so that you can print as many as you want and then you not? I printed what they allowed me to. Within reason – just 3. Could have punched in 300, I reckon. But I didn’t.

        • Melanie

That’s shameful. Just because you “can” doesn’t mean you SHOULD. You ask how can you not? You just don’t. You just choose to do the right thing and be honest.

        • Nicole

Just so you know, when your store tries to redeem these with Lindor, they will not honor or reimburse the store you purchased them from. They each have their own code on them and it will flag YOU for the coupon fraud! Dishonest coupon users screw it up for everyone! Printing out the same coupon and copying it is the same thing. It says 1 per FB user. If you haven’t redeemed them, please don’t!

    • Susie

Perhaps you’re new to couponing and don’t understand why you don’t make copies of coupons. Each internet printable has a different pin number on it. Walmart will only be reimbursed by the manufacturer for that pin number one time. The other 2 will be money lost for the retailer that they can’t get back. It’s the same as stealing. That’s why so many retailers won’t take internet printables for free items now. Alot of folks who are new to couponing don’t realize this and of course there are a few that just don’t care, but I like to think the majority of us wouldn’t do it if we understood why it’s a no no. 🙂

      • TreyTreyBoo

These are all the same barcode. They are not unique. So Walmart or other retailer WILL be reimbursed for each one.

        • Tanya

Every Walmart that I go to doesn’t accept free coupons. Just because your printer allows you to print more than one copy doesn’t make it right by any means.

        • Susie

The barcode is related to the manufacturer and item, it will be the same. The next time you print 2 coupons for the same item where it’s allowed, like coupons (dot) com, look at the PIN number on each, they’re different. I dealt with this for MANY years at my job. If you’re making copies and using the same coupon simply because it will scan, that doesn’t make it legitimate or reimbursable for the business.

        • Susie

Treytreyboo…pin numbers and barcodes are two very different things.

        • Monica

They are not the same the CoupSmart cide has different numbers. I printed one for my facebook, hubbie’s and 2 sons. They all have different numbers on them.

        • Alyssa L.

They have different numbers, and mine printed with my information and Facebook picture on them. So they are NOT all the same!

      • mel

actually, WM won’t be reimbursed At All b/c per their policy they do not accept Free IP coupons. Suzy, you could cost a cashier her job 🙁

        • Nikki

Have to disagree with you on one point.
My WM just took one of my 2 free Q’s this morning, here at the Perimeter Mall location on Ashford Dunwoody. She was the front end manager. Not a word from her as she quickly noted the price on the Q and tucked it into the Q bag.
          This was @ 6:15am est.

          • mel

@ Nikki…Per their Official coupon policy,
We DO NOT accept the following coupons: (bolded is theirs)

            Checkout coupons
Dollars/cents off the entire basket purchase
Percentage off the entire basket purchase
***Print-at-home Internet coupons that require no purchase***

Maybe this manager didn’t know, or chose to take it anyway.. but the bottom line is WM will not be reimbursed. And all that leads to is higher grocery prices to compensate for the loss.

            • MommySpendsLess

Thanks for taking the time to look up and post the coupon policy! It’s great to be informed consumers.

One small correction to your comment though, if it’s a legitimate coupon and they send it in correctly they will get reimbursed. Store policies are just that, the STORE’s set of made-up rules that they choose to follow/make customers follow. Walmart has decided to put that policy in place because often free printables are fake and they would not get reimbursed for a fake coupon (or in this case the two extra duplicated copies but I think previous posters have covered that part). The manager may have accepted it because she somehow determined it was a real coupon (maybe another customer pulled up the Facebook offer on her phone, etc.)

            • mel

Hey mommyspendsless! thanks for your reply. I am trying to get in touch with a relative for clarification. I posted below, per what I heard from him when WM updated the coupon policy, that free internet printable coupons were automatically rejected through the clearing house. WM looses sooo much money on fake coupons, esp frees.

    • Kristen

…and your bragging? Ha..okay!? You know that’s stealing?

    • Alyssa L.

That is coupon FRAUD. Would you walk into Walmart and steals two bags of Lindt truffles without paying? Because that’s what you did. Walmart will not be reimbursed for two of those bags you bought. You also made it harder for all of us to use coupons in the future. People like you are why we can’t have nice things.

    • Amanda

It’s people like you doing things like this that ruin it for honest couponers everywhere, and are the reason most stores won’t accept printed coupons for free items.

    • Melissa

Take two of them back to the store. That would help. Please understand that people with big families struggle to get stuff with coupons because of these types of what I am going to call a mistake and give you the benefit of the doubt. Please take them back….

    • Melissa S.

Suzy you are the worst …I commend those who are giving you the benefit of the doubt, but from my experience those who make decisions like this don’t usually care if this could negatively affect anyone else as long as they personally benefit from it.

      • kelle

Omigosh, I can’t believe how cruel some of you are being to Suzy! Do you really think she would post about her copying coupons if she knew it was fraud? I don’t think so. It sounds to me like an honest rookie mistake. Someone could’ve just kindly corrected her instead of making her feel like she’s “the worst”.

    • Brittany

THIS is the reason that most stores don’t accept printable for free products. Maybe you did this out of ignorance, but it makes me very upset to see people do this. It’s fraud, lying, wrong, and potentially ruins a good thing for a lot of people.

Susy, giving you the benefit of the doubt, please don’t copy coupons.

      • txhrc4

Hey y’all, can you stop the badgering? I think the point has been made. Why make her feel worse than she probably already feels?

  6. lh

I was able to redeem this at Walgreens. Regular price for the 5.1 oz bag was $4.49 but was on sale for $3.99.

  7. Lisa A

Used my coupon at So Cal CVS with no problems.

  8. david

i was able to get two coupons

    • Alyssa L.

If they’re both from the same Facebook account, I hope you abide by the terms of the offer and only use one of them.

    • Katie

I, too, was able to print 2 from my account – unique numbers on each one – just like most other coupons. When I went back in and saw that the print button was still available, I tried it again, and it gave me another unique print. Unexpected.

  9. Valerie

I just came back from Walgreens and was able to redeem it there without any problems. No questions asked. It was 4.99 and i gave the cashier the coupon and she scanned it and it didn’t ask for any more money, even though the coupon was for only $3.99! I first checked on the Lindor website and located their stores and most of the stores that popped up were either Walgreens or CVS’s.

  10. couponsforc

Hey did everyone else’s just have type on it and no pic? It looks so bare. Just wondering if it was just my printout or something.

    • Mindy M.

Mine has my profile pic with my name, and the Lindor Truffles banner/pic. I would shoot them an e-mail to make sure you get your free bag!

  11. Beth

I was able to use at Walmart no problem – they were 3.00 there – I printed 2 – one from my FB account and 1 from hubby’s 🙂

    • mel

wm won’t be reimbursed, per their policy they don’t take free internet coupons.

      • Christopher M Wilson (@xirian)

Just because its their policy doesn’t mean they won’t be reimbursed if they try for it. It just means the cashier shouldn’t accept it to begin with.

        • mel

I have a relative that works high up and free IPs automatically get rejected through the clearing house.

  12. Robin

You can actually print two of these before it says limit reached.

  13. MalibuBeachBum

    Thanks!

  14. Megan

Lots of coupon misuse going on, wow!

    • Amanda

Seriously. And bragging about it too. 🙁

  15. Renee

Do you think the store will still honor this if I black out my profile photo? I don’t mind if my name is on the coupon so they know I only redeem this once but I’d rather not have my face displayed right on the coupon.

    • lh

I was able to redeem my coupon without a profile photo. A Walgreens manager told me it should work as long as it has a scannable bar code.

      • Renee

        Thanks!

  16. DK

It only printed the top portion so it’s unusable!

  17. microdynamic

I used the coupon at the CVS in Lakewood Ranch, FL with ease!

  18. Brittany

    Got one! Thanks Collin!

  19. lisa

Mine printed out wiht a very short barcode. Did that happen for anyone who has been able to successfully have the coupon scanned at a store? Just wondering if it will actually scan.

  20. Alyssa

I purchased a package of Lindt chocolates at Walmart and the coupon worked just fine! Also picked up a box of Capri Sun juices boxes that I had a dollar off coupon for making them just 1.78 with tax. If you join the new app Collin was talking about, you can get 1.75 back for them making it just 3 cents for the juice boxes and Lindt bag!!

  21. heather michelle

Oh my gosh! I love these! Just printed my coupon and went to the store…now…coffee and chocolate! 😉 LOVIN HIP2SAVE!!!!

  22. Lisa

Used this coupon and my 3 CVS email coupons, walked out for .34 cent. Happy!

  23. Riya

    Thanks Collin…going for shopping!

  24. Riya

    Thanks Collin …!

  25. Kristen

Got this at Albertsons today in northern CO and it was 3.99. No issues there at all. Thanks Collin!

  26. Felicia

I’m having problems with this printing. I get a message saying your voucher is printing but nothing has showed up yet. Anyone else having problems?

  27. Joanne

having major troubles printing coupons from facebook I click on it and nothing happens can anyone tell me how to fix this I’ve tried a lot of these facebook ones and they will not print.

  28. Guest

I printed the coupon with no problem and took it to Walgreens. Truffles were on sale for $3.99 per bag so used the coupon and they took it – no problem. All in all a very simple process. Thank you!

  29. Katherine

There were 145 comments when I peeked in here to see what was being said…and my, oh my!

    • Maria

      Katherine
      I thought the same thing.

  30. michelle

I usually go to Riteaid…do they allow free ip coupons? I got one from my account and one from hubbys but am not sure where to redeem them.. 🙂
On a side note I went to riteaid and did the loreal deal. I had a couple $2 off styler coupons which were the same price as the shampoo anyhow.. so ended up paying about $3 for 5 loreal items. I decided that I’ll make my two teenage girls nice xmas gift baskets this year. I’m planning on doing the nexxus deal in a couple weeks too!
Thnx Collin! your site is so much fun 😀

  31. Vivi

Just got back from Target and was able to use the coupon there, only problem I had was the cashier couldn’t find the blank spot to write in the price….just fyi the 6oz bags are on sale for 3.50

  32. Kim

I can not believe all the misuse that it being done. We all can obviously read and see that it says they are only allowing 1 coupon per facebook account. Those of you misusing better realize that your name and facebook account is linked to this coupon. They can prosecute if they choose to do so. Let’s all be responsible.

  33. Patti

Just used mine at Walgreen in S.C. where they are on sale this week 2 for $7.00…just $3.50 a bag so it was free…LOVE my choclate twice as much when its free. Thanks Colin

  34. Lovefreebies

Do they have to be printed ? Or just show them the coupon on my ipad?

    • mel

you will need to print the coupon, so the store can send in for reimbursement.

  35. Tonya

I can understand if people dont know the rules and dont realize they are comitting fraud, but it’s clear that some do know. It’s no different than stealing and no different than someone who tries to scam someone else just bc they can get away with it. I know that some people may not know that this is wrong, but lets all be fair and not make couponing harder on everyone. And please do be aware that there can be major consequences for your actions and it most certainly is not worth it just for a few extra bags of chocolates. Stay informed, stay honest and enjoy the little things that you do get!

Also, thanks Collin! I looooove chocolate! =D

  36. thejoyouspath

My mom and I used ours today at Target. They are 2/$7 this week, and the cashier deducted the full $3.99. This made the coupon a 50 cent moneymaker!

  37. Camille

Ladies, lets give these people the benefit of the doubt and assume they are new to couponing. Some of you are very harsh and rude when leaving comments. It’s sad how people have no shame to say rude and hurtful things to others when using a computer. Say what you need to in a helpful to the point matter without the hatefulness!
    What’s the world coming to!

    • Marissa

I agree Camille. The coupon police are out in full force!!!!!!! Just kindly inform the person what she did was wrong and move on. Did she really need 55 people attacking her. Poor Suzy will probably never use a coupon again.

  38. Tammy

Useless. Me and many of my friends
tried to print deal and had no luck. Oh well. Other deals to be enjoyed in the days ahead!

  39. pharmchick

i was able to print 2, and they both have different barcodes. however if you can only legitamitely use one i will only use 1. anyway i printed a second since my first jammed in the printer and got kind of smudged. maybe its still usable but i dont want to chance it and get black listed with coupon network or whatever.

  40. Colleen

Was able to purchase 1 bag of the white chocolate truffles at CVS – they were $4.99 or if you bought two it was $4.50/bag. The store manager checked me out and there was no issue!

  41. April

got one, thanks! I’m going to use my free shutterfly mug and add the candy to give as a teacher gift!

  42. Tina

I used mine at cvs also with no problems it was 4.99 they took off 3.99 so $1.00. Not bad because cvs doesnt give me any trouble…. thanks

  43. Timothy Allard

Just a question on clarification in their rules…

“…Only one coupon download is AVAILABLE per Facebook user. However, making physical copies of any coupon, and then reselling, transferring, redistributing…..”

I printed yesterday, came back today and it was available again. It does not say “Only one coupon download is ALLOWED per facebook user, its says AVAILABLE per facebook user. If I was able to print more than one legitimately, without making physical copies of any coupon, and then reselling, transferring, redistributing, or reproducing yadda yadda yadda.

Each one printed out with different numbers – I did not do anything to break their rules.

I am not looking to get flamed. I used neither – I just want to have a serious discussion on what you all think..

    discuss…

    Tim

    • LoriSaves

You might consider contacting Lindt through their facebook page and ask that very same question! Then you get an answer directly from the source and not just us guessing here on Hip2save 🙂

I think it’s great you go above and beyond to do this the right way, Tim

  44. Kim

The only store in my area with the larger 6 oz package was Target and theirs was $3.50 so it was perfect. Every other store had the smaller package but they cost anywhere from $3.00 (walmart) to $4.50 (CVS) to $4.30 Biy and Stop & Shop. Each family member printed a coupon for their Facebook account and we are now enjoying our loot : ) !

  45. Deb

I cannot get it to print. It’s been loading for over 2 hours!

  46. Savedbycoupons

These are on sale at Target for $3.50. That makes them free! Also, remember to take in your own bag for $.05 off the tax! Great deal!

  47. Kristi

I tried taking this to walmart before reading this discussion today and they wouldn’t accept the coupon. Boo……. guess it’s off to find another store.

  48. melissa

    all gone now! 🙁

  49. Rhea

Just used mine at Safeway- the manager said they won’t be reimbursed but took it anyway. Paid $0.30 total for the bag.

  50. shanshan

Walgreen took the coupon with no problem. Seems like the coupons all gone.
