Grab some fresh kicks for Summer!

My kids are always growing out of shoes so I always love to scoop up a great deal on some stylish new shoes when I can! After scoring the best shoe deal recently, I’m excited to share my thoughts and experience with all you parents out there!

Ever heard of FabKids?

FabKids is the little sister brand of Fabletics (by the way, you can grab TWO pairs of Fabletics leggings for just $24!), and offers high quality, ready-to-play boys and girls clothing/shoes every month. They often have sales and promos to really help you save on cute outfits and shoes for the kiddos!

There are deals… and then there are really great deals.

Although, I’m biased because I work for the best deal blog EVER, I still can’t believe that I just scored these two pairs of FabKids shoes, one for my son and one for my daughter…

And paid ONLY $9.95 SHIPPED for both! 😱

How’s that possible? For a limited time, FabKids is offering a FREE $10 credit when you enroll in their VIP Membership Program. And to top it off, that $10 credit can go towards two pairs of shoes (or outfits) – and the real kicker is that the credit works with their buy one, get one free sale! 😱

That means you can score 2 pairs of shoes for just $9.95 shipped! 👏 YESSSSS!!!

As you can see, my kids are just as thrilled as I am! My daughter now has some sandals for summer that look just like mommy’s expensive Birks and my son has some easy to put on casual shoes. I also love that the pair I got him are velcro – perfect since we’re still working on how to tie shoes. 🙌

Besides telling you over and over again that I literally can’t believe I got two pairs of shoes for $9.95, I’m also impressed with the quality! The sandals feel just like identical styles you can find at Target and Old Navy and my son’s casual shoes are good quality! The soles are nice and thick and feel like durable rubber.

Even better, not only are the shoes I received amazing and super cheap, but there’s a bunch of different styles, colors, and even cute character shoes you can find! 😍

Don’t fall for it! You have to cancel by phone they spend forever trying to keep you as a customer. If you don’t skip by the 5th of the month you are charged a non refundable $39.95 to use on their very overpriced cheap quality clothes and shoes. Their shoes are CHEAP they don’t have support. And fit horribly. Walmart has similar styles. I just bought the foam Bork looking sandals from Walmart for $6 in hot pink and neon yellow. My daughter loves to wear one of each color at the same time. You have to spend $60 or $70 to get free shipping once you’re a VIP member.

I agree to this comment. They were charging me $39.95 a month and when I called to cancel they wouldn’t allow me to. I kept saying I wanted to talk to the manager over and over to the customer service rep he was very rude and wouldn’t replace the extra charges from my account. only would give me a percentage back and applied credit to fab fit kids account. The clothes don’t hold up for the kids much either in quality.

ALWAYS CALL YOUR BANK TO BLOCK THE MERCHANT!! Don’t bother with endless phone calls with the merchant that go nowhere. Call the merchant ONE TIME to cancel. ONE TIME. And then call YOUR BANK afterwards.

And NEVER USE A DEBIT CARD for any purchases or subscriptions. NEVER. Always use a credit card. ALWAYS.

I worked at a bank for six years, and was constantly taking phone calls from people who could not get refunds or cancellations from shady merchants.

        CALL YOUR BANK

how easy is it to cancel this?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! You can cancel any time by calling 1-855-FAB-KIDS.

    • Erin

Haha. Did you see the comments above? I also had a difficult time cancelling and ultimately continued being charged for a year afterward despite cancelling twice. I eventually called my credit card company and blocked them. By some miracle, they refunded all the charges. I know that doesn’t happen for everyone though! They had a terrible BBB rating last time I checked. I can’t believe H2S still advertises them.

I tried this membership awhile ago. I was not impressed with the quality of the kids leggings. For the price I paid it was decent, but definitely not worth full price. I prefer target, old navy and children’s place and you can get similar items for basically the same price. I called and canceled with no issues. They do attempt to save you as a customer, but the entire process wasn’t too painful or time consuming. I wish they gave the option to cancel online, but I think they have you call in to try and keep your business/membership.

Can they bill you if you signed up for the membership but don’t use it? No order was made or credit card added to the account.

    • Pretygirlygirl

It’s a “membership” so you have to add your credit card when you sign up. And then as soon as you make a purchase they’ll have your info. Whether you buy something that month or not they charge you Unless you remember to “skip” the month.

I’ve just spent an entire hour ordering two pairs of shoes from their BOGO sale. They never came up as BOGO, there was no ten dollar membership perk. I just backed out of it all and will call again tomorrow to cancel. I hope I’m about to…. 🙂

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh darn! Are you a new member? If so, maybe try a different browser. I still find the offers available as I click through now. Hope this helps!

    • brianaclark

Offer said was there even got an email but at checkout wasn’t there.

  6. Alison Navarro

I tried this several times. Not only did they not honor the BOGO, but they didn’t honor the free shipping either. I ended up spending a very long time trying it over and over, I even called them and they still couldn’t get the deal to work. They still seem okay with taking my money though….

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Did you ever get the offer to work successfully? or did you have an issue with the actual order, Alison Navarro?

  7. C

Be careful. It is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to cancel. They give you a REALLY hard time. They will keep you on the phone forever and go on and on about all of the reasons why you should keep your membership. I don’t recommend this company at all.

Wow, I’m surprised by these comments but appreciate the updated information so I don’t purchase anything for my niece. I signed up for FabKid back in 2012. Their model then was a full outfit (top, bottom and accessory) for $39.95. You took a style quiz for your child when you signed up and each month they would recommend an outfit and you could skip, go with their selection or choose a different outfit. We only got three outfits because (thanks to Hip2Save) I knew I could easily beat their regular prices but the clothes were very cute with nice details and at least (maybe slightly better) quality than Target’s. As a bonus they came in fun pink boxes (which I actually still use for wrapping paper supplies 🙂 ). Although I wouldn’t have stocked my daughter’s whole closet that way, I thought it was a fun model for a gift or special treat. I’m bummed that they’ve changed so much.
