Best Buy opens at 12AM on Friday, 11/23. Tickets will be handed out up to two hours before the store opens for select limited quantity items on page 1 and 2 of the Best Buy Black Friday ad. Limit 1 ticket per customer per item.
You can also shop online on at BestBuy.com on Thanksgiving Day (plus, make sure to go through ShopAtHome.com for an additional 4% cash back). And don’t you worry, I will be posting deals right here on Hip2Save.

Also, there are tons of TVs and Laptops in the ad, and there are bound to be more on sale in the store on Black Friday. I recommend choosing the one you want before you go and researching prices and reviews online to be sure you are getting the best deal, but also a high quality item. Amazon.com is a great place to compare prices and read reviews!

I chatted with best buy today & was told some deals would be available for in store pick up. I bought the canon camera on the front page of their ad for only $20 more with a free 4gb memory card a free 8×8 shutterfly book & free expedited shipping plus 4% cash back thru shopathome.

The ad has a canon powershot a2300 on pg1 for $79. I assume limited quantities. Their website had it for $99– the same price as amazon.

Yes, Walmart has an IPad 2 16gb with wifi for $399 with a $75 walmart gift card.
I believe Target is also offering a $60 gift card with ANY iPad purchase.
Does anyone know if the Nintendo 3DS that is on sale is of the same quality as the regular 3DS? I know some of the other electronic specials don’t have all the bells and whistles and wanted to check before I attempted to purchase one for $150! ; )

The 3Ds is 3D with different games than the regular DS. My son says go for the DS if its under 10 due to the eye 3D exposure.
Kathy, Walmart is selling an IPad and offering a $75 gift card with it.
And…did read it correct? If you get there between 10-11pm Thursday evening you are guaranteed to get one…even if they have to ship it to you?

They will not match Black Friday ad’s, but last year I price matched a Kindle that was in Target’s “2-Day Ad.” I am not sure if their policy for that has changed or not.
I called my local WalMart and they said they would price match on black Friday. Might be worth calling to check your local wal mart 😉

Yes they will. Must be exact item which means if it has a different kind of screen or cord inputs, it cannot be matched.

Be careful…a lot of the smaller flat screens have crappy sound! We learned our lesson the hard way last year.

With the tickets being handed out—does that mean its like what they are doing at Walmart? How exactly does it work?
Best Buy does not guarantee items…..first come first served. They get very limited stock, so they give out tickets to people in line. They go down the line with however many tickets they have for that particular item. For example if they have 20 tickets for TV1, then the first 20 people in line that want that item get the tickets. There is only one line outside of the store. The cashiers will not sell you the particular ticket items without the designated ticket. Walmart on the other hand, in my area, has designated lines throughout the store for designated items. There are 3 items this year that they guarantee will be in stock, or they will give you a “rain check” that will be honored before Christmas. HTH

Is there any way to strike a deal with Best Buy or competitors to purchase the TV on Best Buys black Friday advertisement before next week? I’d buy it now but I can’t go wait in line!
as far as best buy- when i called to corporate, they said that they will price match competitor offers BUT you must go to the store DURING the black friday sale timeframe (if there is one on the ad) and wait in customer service line for the price match. Usually you end up out of luck if you are not there right when best buy and the competitor open, because you have to wait in line forever….. just an fyi from past experience
PLUS- Best Buy Premier Silver has early online access to ALL best buy advertised deals GUARENTEED. Any item in the ad will be available during the early access sale – and you MUST be a silver member to get the special deal – I believe its tuesday for silver – online or BY PHONE!
Bestbuy’s premier silver members will be able to see the ad on Sunday Nov. 18, and they will be able to shop for items online or through the phone on Monday Nov. 19 I believe you can start shopping at 10 am.
I am a verizon customer and I want an ipad that I can add to my verizon service. I need to check into this further but the verizon rep told me that I would need the ipad that is set up for cellular, not just wifi. Is this correct? He he just trying to up sell me?
U really don’t need the 3G Wifi is so readily available. Don’t spend the extra it doesn’t pay unless u purchase a refurbished directly from Apple store online then it’s a good deal.

In the past for the tv s I’ve gone on Wednesday before thanksgiving and have got almost the same deal I’m talking maybe I’ve paid like $10 to $30 more which to me is worth it and they are in stock because the stores are setting up for Black Friday. It’s been great so many of my friends and I have done this at best buy and target and has worked out great
