Question: Does Thomas “Take n-Play” fit on the wooden tracks (ie similar to Brio)?
zoe says:
no they don’t fit, take and play is a different system. brio trains are compatable with thomas wooden railway
Julie says:
Do you think a 2 year old woudl enjoy the THomas tak n-play?
Stephanie says:
Yes!! My child is turning 3 and still enjoys them!
LC says:
If he likes trains…YES!!
Sara says:
Julie, I think a 2 year old would. My son has loved Thomas since he was 1.5. I think the Take N Plays are good for smaller kids because there’s not much need to build and take apart tracks with the sets. And the trains are fun off or on a track! My 18 month old is getting Thomas stuff this year as well.
Rachel says:
yes but if you have wooden also they get very frustrated because they dot fit in those. I would stick with one set. That was my mistake
Amanda says:
My son is 2 and he LOVES these take-n-play trains… I love them too because they hook together with magnets, so he doesn’t get frustrated trying to connect them.

Thanks so much for the heads-up on these. My 2-year-old son is a Thomas FANATIC, so I was super excited to get a talking Emily engine, flexi-track, and 2 play sets (Tidmouth Tunnel & The Paint Factory w/ Bill) for only $20! I was looking at the flexi-track at Walmart, and that was $10 on its own – not to mention the fact that the talking engines go for $12 at every store I shop at.
My son is gonna absolutely flip when he sees these on Christmas. Seriously, I cannot thank you enough for your posts!
