WOW!!! THank you so much. That was an answer to prayer. I had about $150 in maxperks expiring this month. Now I only have $50 to be concerned about using. 🙂

Same here – I’ve been buying batteries all through December to use up my $220 maxperks, but still had $78 to use before the 31st! I’ll come a little OOP but at least maxperks roll. 😀 Think I’ll donate some paper to our Elementary School – I surely don’t need 2 cases. Thanks, Collin!!!

    • Nicole

BTW – TONS of non-profits LOVE getting printer paper donated!!! It really helps reduce their operation costs so more money goes back into services. Think of no-kill animal shelters, schools, women’s shelters, free health clinics, etc.

Yay, I had rewards to use so that was perfect! BTW, I got my Diesel boots from Tanga and I love them! My husband didn’t understand them though. lol

Can someone please explain how this works. I read on their website that they send the funds to you(was assuming something like paypal). However, your comments make it sound like the rewards have to be spent at OfficeMax?

    • CW

Yes it has to be spent at Office Max. I buy those two cases of paper every year. When the reward rolls around (I think its quarterly for business and twice a year for teachers), You can use the rewards amount in store or online ordering. For example, I use the $90ish in rewards money to buy a printer ink cartridge every year. So in the end I spent about $90 on two cases of paper AND a near $100 printer cartridge!

Does anyone know if you can use these rewards to purchase a Kindle from them or are tablets and computers excluded?

    • Jen

I used a bunch of rewards to buy a Kindle right before Xmas- so yes, you can use rewards to buy Kindle.

    • Marie

You can use them to pay for computers, tablets and e-readers as well. In Ohio, we get fuelperks at Giant Eagle groceries stores for buying gift cards so last Summer I bought my Office Max gift cards there and then went to Office Max to buy all the “free” school supplies like these paper reams.

I had to wait until the next month to get my maxperks and then I was able to buy the 2 Toshiba laptops and the Nook with GlowLight e-reader and used my maxperks to pay for everything! We needed 2 new laptops anyways so I figured why not get all the free pens, papers, batteries, notebooks, etc., wait a month and then buy the laptops on sale.

And for spending over $500 I also received an extra $25 Office Max gift .

    • Marie

Office Max will also price match any competitor’s price so shop around first!

  6. KJ

    Are they both sold out?

    • CW

No I just ordered the cases of paper.

  7. KJ

So weird. Nothing pulls up when I click on the links or when I search by item numbers.

    • Jen

I see nothing on my end either.

      • KJ

Are you on an Ipad or mobile device? I had to get on my desktop to place my order.

        • Jen

I had to re-start my computer for some reason and it was a go!

Just read up on the Max Perks. This seems to be better then the Office Depot rewards cards which expire and do not roll over. I turn in 10 ink cartridges a month to them. Thinking of switching over to Office Max. Any thoughts to help me decide.

    • KJ

Office Max is definitely the way to go.

    • Kelly

Definitely sign up for MaxPerks!!!!! I tried to resist signing up for years. However, I couldn’t resist the free backpack deals the end of July. I actually invested $500 total in the 6 week period surrounding the backpack deal. I have rolled these rewards, and rolled these rewards, and continue to roll these rewards. I have not spent any additional money out of pocket and can’t wait to see how long I can keep rolling these rewards and how much I will end up earning in rewards! My initial investment has earned me $1,200 in rewards so far- and I still have lots of rewards to keep rolling. Most of what I get I end up donating to my kids schools/classrooms. This program is such a blessing!!!

Need help… I have reward that will expire at the end of the month… and I can’t seem to use my reward for the purchase. How do you apply the reward to your purchase?

    • Marie

On the checkout page, click on “edit” under your billing information and then you’ll get the option to add an Office Max gift card or Maxperks rewards card. Enter your rewards # and PIN. You’ll still need to give them your credit card number. You can only use 1 gift card or rewards card though. If you have more than one, you have to call customer service and order over the phone. I had to do that when I had 3 gift cards to use with my rewards on a laptop.

    • KJ

At checkout, just add gift card as payment option and enter information from your maxperks reward. HTH

    • May

      Thank you for your help

I have a birthday coupon for 10 off 50, will I still get the full amount (43.98) back in rewards?

    • Marie

No, they’ll subtract any kind of discount from the total, divide the savings up in between all the items bought so you won’t get the full amount of maxperk! Been there done that.

      • Lesley

        Thank you!

  11. Donna

If you purchase 3 cases of paper the 4th one is free… Like getting 4 cases for the price of 1 after max perks $$ back… plus almost $8 bucks back if use go through shopathome! Thanks gonna stock up for the year!

    • Donna

use promo code 20SAVE (ALL CAPS) for $20 off your 4 cases of paper and (2) 500 sheet reams. (u just need to add at least $2.45 to get to $150). Thanks!!

  12. Donna

I always use my max perks $$ for K-cups…. you get a $10 off promo code for your birthday month via email! 🙂

  13. Cheryl

I couldn’t order any of this particular paper from their website. I called customer service and they told me that it is a problem they’ve been having with the website all weekend. Tech support will be back to work in the morning and should have the ordering issue resolved!

  14. Kelly

Just got off the phone with OfficeMax customer service. When I had tried to use my remaining rewards the balance came up as $0, apparently the card had been “wiped”.
Hopefuly it will be reinstated in 2-3 days and this will still be available. Oh, the rep kept telling me that I can not make a purchase with rewards and get rewards back. I very nicely explained that I have been rolling them for a year without problems, but he kept telling me they weren’t supposed to do that.

  15. Noelle

This is great! And they have free in store pickup now, so I can swing by and get it later today. Love Office Max!

  16. Lisa

Ok so I just got my paper order today. It’s wrong. For some reason the link on their page took me to the wrong kind of paper and I didn’t notice the size change when I placed my order. I’m afraid I didn’t get the stuff that was part of the deal and just paid almost $200 for some legal sized paper that I’ll never use. 🙁 I’m going to try contacting their customer service and see what can be done.
