These look amazing! I ordered one to pick up on Wednesday as a Bday present to myself.
Unrelated, I have a shutterfly code for a free 8×8 book that I’m not going to end up using. If you’d like it, leave me your email and I will send it to the first one I see.

Ladies, Just a heads up. Whenever you post a link (any link), it has to go through moderation first, so it won’t be posted right away. It will tell you that your post is “awaiting moderation”.
The best way to be quick and have your comment posted immediately is to break down your email like Yoko did. Hope this helps you with the next kind offer
Lindsay says:
Thanks so much everyone, that’s my fault for not splitting up my e-mail. It ended up awaiting moderation and it showed up late. But thanks to a couple fellow hip2saver’s who e-mailed me (how kind!!!) I was still able to get a code.
thank youuuu
Amanda says:
I’m glad you were able to get one still. I felt so bad!
Amanda says:
Sorry Lindsay, when I came back to look Yoko was the only comment showing up!
dumpysunshine says:
Perhaps this isn’t the best way to give away things. Yoko’s comment came one minute after two other comments according to the time stamp. I don’t want to be nitpicky because it is very generous of you to give away your free code. But for others that might do something similar in the future, maybe there is a different way to go about it?
Kim says:
I think it’s due to the others using their email addresses instead of spacing them out like Yoko did… Collin likely had to moderate the ones with full emails which delays their posting, but they ultimately are listed in the order that they were submitted for posting… Hope that helps someone in the future.
fran says:
LOL, Kim! I guess it took me longer to type than it did you
meg says:
Maybe the best way would be to put it on the Facebook page.
LOLIE says:
The best way is the way she did it, very thoughtful… and others now know to break up the email.. “the best way” LOL people are so funny!
meg says:
No reason to be rude…just trying to help.
KL says:
I agree.
Kris says:
I personally cant justify paying $12 for 12 small pieces of fruit. Seems like this would be so easy and MUCH cheaper to make yourself
Wowdeal says:
I know right, 4 little apple slices, 4 banana bites, and even 4 strawberrys = 1/3 apple, 1/4 banana, and reg price is $29!
I could not feel good about myself owning that business.
I understand they have to pay a driver to deliver but I can drive myself to the store and buy 1 apple for 1.99lb, 1 banana, for like 9 cents………….
Even at $12, I come here to save money and get coupons, so I guess I am too cheap to spend $29 or $12 on fruit and chocolate. Spend $5 on a bag a fruit and use a coupon and get some free chocolate. Done.
I was wondering if I was the only one that thought this “deal” was crazy.
brooke says:
I don’t think it’s crazy. Ya, I’m not going to buy it for myself, but I think it’s a lovely gift.
Heidi says:
The last time they had this deal I bought one for a birthday gift. It comes packaged nicely and is a lovely little treat for the recipient. I agree that $29 is an outrageous price but I felt like $12 is reasonable for a very nice, professional looking gift. It’s absolutely true that you could make it yourself for much cheaper–but as with nearly everything, you are paying for somebody else’s time & skills as well as the raw materials themselves.
And as with everything–if you don’t like it, you don’t have to buy it!
Melissa says:
I actually got this for my 1st Mother’s Day gift. It was a GREAT surprise..and delicious! We send this to my grandmother every year for her birthday..she LOVES it!
(Sometimes you splurge for yourself or loved ones)
Amie says:
There is a difference in making it yourself. One thing I always notice is edible arrangements seem to always get their fruit perfect, something I haven’t quite gotten down with it bing the sweetest pineapple, and so on. I wouldn’t spend this amount of money for dipped though but I would love a fruit bouquet as a gift for myself, ( my kids and I LOVE the fresh fruit) however I wouldn’t purchase it for myself unless it was on sale. On another note, my kids really wanted to do something nice for their daddy, and he was going through a workout craze at the time of his birthday two years ago. My boys put together their money ( their idea) and I took them to edible arrangements where the staff helped them out ( and even gave them a discount because the one they picked out was just a little more than the other one and they wanted to put a birthday balloon attached to it. THEY were so excited and proud of themselves!
Lisa G. says:
The principal at my daughter’s school has a birthday on Friday. I think this will make a nice little treat for her. Thanks hip2save!
Laurie says:
I personally love deals like this, even more so when I can ship to family in other states. While it’s true you could do it cheaper, the quality is often not there (ie. HUGE strawberries, keeping your apples or banannas from turning brown on exposed edges etc.). Also some people are funny about eating “homemade” gifts (although I am not). This is a way to look like a big spender and still be generous but spend much less.
Madison says:
Edible Arrangements is amazingly delicious and well worth the price. The sales price is an added bonus! My husband loves to get me these for special occasions and my girls love it when I share. The fruit is always top notch!
edy says:
Yes! I’m getting 3 of this one for my cvs manager he’s so nice and hepful! I being meaning to get him something nice and me being funny about what I eat, I won’t make it myself either! So, this,is a nice treat once in a while! I tell, the customers cuponers invest the first time u shop then, reward yourselfs with something u want and need and is alittle more expensive. My husband won’t go to the store for nothing and he won’t buy me flowers or handbags he won’t know what I want! But, him and daughters feel like if I get his paycheck I can get myself my treats! So, I would get one for my cvs manager and one for my oldest daughter and one for myself! At 12 DLRS IS BETTER THAN PAYING $29. THANKS COLLIN
Julia says:
I personally bought some for some friends that happen to be in the hospital the last time they had this sale. I am personally a cheap shopper but I think this is a great sale. It was wonderful to bring something to someone that was missing a little bit of the outside world.
Danielle says:
I bought two today at my local Edible Arrangements, and the first is almost gone between my son and I! It was ready on time and looked great. I got Apples, Strawberries and Pineapple in one and Apples, Strawberries and banana’s in the other! Thank you for posting this, I appreciated the sweet treat on a windy day!
Caryn says:
I just ordered for myself for my birthday because I deserve it! Thanks!
