Yay, got it thanks! We just broke free from cable and are just doing all internet streaming (prime, hulu, netflix, playon, etc) and it is such a savings!

    • Valerie

How is playon working for you? I’ve been wanting to get it but not sure how it works.

    • yollies

We stopped our cable too. We are still able to receive over the air stations while the cable is connected to the TV like abc, ION, FOX, PBS. Netflix is our main movie and children’s TV go to. I’m not missing cable one bit and the savings are great!

I am so confused. I registered my device but don’t see my $5 credit anywhere? Where do I go to get the credit. I know I registered it because I see my wii under my account but no credit to be found.

    • Donna

Actually I just found how to check my balance & it shows $0. How long is the credit supposed to take to appear in my account?

      • Jill

I had this problem, too… Did you ever get a resolution?

  3. Diana

Did the amazon icon automatically show up on your wii screen today or did you have to find it or reset it or anything? I’m not seeing it and I’ve been waiting for amazon to include the Wii in their streaming!!!! yay!!!

Diana: You have to go into the Wii Shopping Channel. The Amazon Instant Video is a free download.
Perfect! I didn’t even check for a credit. I am canceling NetFlix.

      • Diana

Thank you – i finally got it! I just signed up for my free Prime trial (which i’ve been wanting prime forever) so I can make sure it has all i want to cancel netflix too! Great minds…:)

    • Diana

OK, so i figured it out (yay me…not my usual expertise). If it isn’t showing up you have to go into the Wii Shop Channel and “download” the Amazon instant video icon 🙂

Donna, I am having the same problem – no credit in my account and did everything correctly. Everything is linked up and working. I wonder if anyone else is experiencing the same problem? It’s been hours and still nothing.

This happened to me too, the person i spoke with said there was a problem with that promotion. I did live chat and they credited it to me. Scroll down to help then click on contact us you will have the option to call e-mail or chat.

      • Candice

Hi Rosie! I ended up speaking with a rep through the live chat feature as well and the $5 was credited to me. Happy with their customer service but odd that it didn’t work for some of us the first time around.

  6. Rhonda

How do I check my acct on Amazon to locate the credit? Thanks

  7. Chrys

Glad that I read the comments! My credit wasn’t there either. I did live chat and it only took a few minutes to get a credit applied.

My friend posted about how to check for your credit: “If you want to try and see your balance. Click on any instant movie while you’re on amazon.com on your computer (not the wii). There is a “redeem a gift card or promotional code” button. Next to that, it’s say view balance and you can see your various digital credits.”
