no – it is registering a gift card
No its like a prepaid debit card….or giftcard. Put money on it and the balance is subtracted. This offer is legit and my card was credited five dollars in less than 24 hrs
I just tried to get this offer with my free $2.60 starbucks gift card for a free blonde roast that was available a while back, and it seems like it worked! Now I have a free $7.60 gift card from starbucks!

Can we use the printable coupon for a free Starbucks coffee from retailmenot.com? Otherwise it is just Starbucks stuff have this promo coupon and they are not willing to give them to customers.

My mom and I both have cards but my DH registered for an account, as well as my dad and a cousin and all 3 got the $5 credited to their account before they added a gift card to it.
When was this?

How about for current Gold members. I believe
you could register a card using a different email
address. Then transfer to your current card after
the $5 loads.
I registered my card. First time to their website ever, so new member. This did not work.

Thanks for letting us know about the offer!! I wanted to let others know about my experience. I signed up yesterday and the $5.00 was supposed to be uploaded on my card within 24 hrs. I called Starbucks today and they informed me that due to the large response they are having a bit of delay in processing the free $5.00 added to your gift card. The $5.00 should be posted within 72 hrs. instead of 24 hrs. They were very nice and friendly. Just thought you all would like to know! 🙂
