I know I don’t get Staples Rewards if I use a Staples gift card, could someone please clarify what the deal is using gift cards on rebate items?
I don’t understand. I have never heard that you will not get rewards if you use a gift card. Where is this stated? I do know that you will not get new rewards if you use rewards to pay for those items, but you can use rewards to buy rebate items and still submit for the full rebate.
I was told in store by the manager that I would not get rewards using a gift card. I was baffled and he called the district office and said that they confirmed that I would not.
I’ve asked about and used staples gift cards on items that qualify for staples rewards a few months ago, and I’ve received the rewards.
Paying with a gift card is just like paying with cash. You still get the rewards and rebates.

Yes, that is the beauty of Staples. New rebate and it helps stock up on paper. I usually get equal to a case or more of paper free (except for the tax) each year. We donate paper to volunteer groups that work with the elderly when it starts to overtake the house.
Does staples take mfg coupons?
Yes, mine took it just a couple of days ago for the Purell deal.

Yes, but be sure to give the manufacturers coupons last. Some stores don’t get them very often, and I learned at mine that the computer treats them like a form of payment. So, none of the store coupons will scan after man Qs.
Kind of disappointed usually it is three or four items a penny each last year. Not as many penny deals
You could price match other store’s deals. They will match penny deals also as long as you bring flyer. Staples will also take competitors coupons! I can’t say enough about the staples app. I get great items for free by “checking” into the store…

The app is awesome! You “check in” when you get to the store. Today I got $5 off $25, but I have also gotten free pens or free wonder. The best part about Staples is that they take competitors coupons and price match! I love Staples 🙂
I mean last year each week at staples would be three or four one cent items not just one
one thing.. I cannot find the coupon for 3/1 for the paper I see a bogfree coupon for bright paper?? also I took in 6 used cartridges and recycled them also bought over 80$ of ink.. I see on my ap that I only got credit for the recycling but I was spose to get 2x the rewards for purchasing ink.. I don’t see that anywhere.. has anyone had issues/ also last year there was a battery deal where it was free after rewards.. I did the deal and never got the “rewards” * I am not talking about easy rebate cos I do that often but its the staples rewards” help
If u used coupons ( incl. rewards) to lower the amount you paid and the price of the ink is less than the minimum amount required you will not get double rewards. Last year I tried taking advantage of a triple ink recycling promo and was disappointed when I discovered I only got $2/cartridge. I ad saved for close to a year, handed in 10 cartridges but only received $20 not $60. When I called 2 inquire that is when the Staples rep explained it to me. If this isn’t the case for you, I would suggest you call Staples Cs. I find Staples to have really good customer service.

How do we know that we can get 4 pastel papers and 2 regular papers? My coupons don’t say anything about limits?

Do you need to bring 4 of the same staples coupons to get the pastel paper? Since limit is 4 or does 1 coupon cover all 4 packages?
I have the same question
in the past when I have tried this, they did require multiple coupons.
I tried it today with one coupon and it only took the dollars off of one item. I think I will end up returning them all.
If you only bring one coupon, you will have to make sure the cashier scans it multiple times (once for each ream of paper you are buying). I usually just print multiples of the coupon because the cashiers get confused about scanning the same coupon so many times.
New $5/$50 coupon on the regular staples coupon page. The coupon wallet in the rewards account has the free after rebate paper qs without limits. I will print out 4 for pastel paper and 2 for regular copy paper and use them all in one transaction since they do not have the limit 1 printed on them. Also there is a 50% bic writing instruments q there.

Lacie, the rewards are separated. In your account you will see recycle on the right and regular rewards on the left. You might have to find your purchase to see if you received the extra rewards. I know my August spending takes several clicks to find right now.

If the limit is 2 and we use a $1/1 coupon, will it take off a dollar from each item or only one?
You can have the cashier scan it twice or print 2 coupons(from rewards coupon wallet). They need to enter the coupon in for each paper.
I didn’t see the dollar off yet for the hammerhill paper on Staples website? Is it not there yet?

I love this coupon! We went to Staples today and just bought a push pop and got a coupon for Kohl’s! I have been using it in conjunction with 15% & 10off 25 for some insane deals 🙂

Rebate for Color paper is 4. But I purchased 2 today. Can I go back tomorrow buy another 2 more. Will I be qualify to get rebate for 4 even if on separate day purchase
